Beautifully located house with an excellent pool that stayed at a good temperature despite the high temperatures when we arrived. Well equipped kitchen with two fridges, a gas/electric cooker and an abundance of crockery and cutlery. We did not speak directly to the owner but the local couple who handled the changeovers, cleaning etc were very friendly. The booking process was smooth and the directions, instructions etc were clear and easy. A very good property that I would recommend.

Amazing view!

We expierenced a beautiful holiday at Labeau. At our arrival, the house was very clean and the wonderful garden was very well-maintained. The panoramic vieuws too almost every direction, the barn and well equiped house are highly recommended for anyone who likes a quiet environment. Chris en Nele, Belgium

A wonderful week

Such a welcoming and homely house with absolutely everything you would ever need for probably many months of fun! Linda also provided us with lots of useful information and was very easy to get in contact with. Would thoroughly recommend.

We will be back!

This beautiful house in France ticked all the boxes. The house has everything you could ever need. The pool and views are stunning, and the bakery and supermarkets are only a 15 minute drive away. Stephane was fantastic, and we really appreciated his help in our hour of need. Thank you so much for letting us stay. We would love to stay again.

Wonderful property in a peaceful location

What a wonderful property. Spotlessly clean, spacious and lovely views. Definitely the biggest and best swimming pool we've ever had at a rental property! Stephane was always very helpful and even turned up in the middle of a storm to make sure we didn’t lose the garden furniture and pool cover to the wind! Cant recommend this property highly enough. If you are looking to relax in an authentic area away from the tourist traps, this is the place for you!

Labeau is an amazing property and surpassed our expectations. Plenty of room for everyone and it has everything necessary for a great self catering holiday. A good ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms, allowing privacy for separate families. The pool was fantastic and perfectly placed by the indoor living and the outside dining area. We loved the pool's night lights, it made late swimming fun and created a lovely ambiance. The position of the property enabled it to take advantage of welcome cooling breezes and also gave us the most incredible view of the Pyrenees in the distance. On top of that, hares in the garden, black kites and swifts flying overhead, deer in the field next door and gorgeous swallow tail butterflies made the garden an idyllic place for nature lovers to just sit, rest and absorb the surroundings. There are numerous beautiful medieval villages within easy driving distance, a local lady in Montesquiou said that we were in the Gers golden triangle of beautiful villages! Many had weekly markets which are a 'must see' to experience the local atmosphere. The Gers department itself is a wonderful area, one of the least populated by tourists we've experienced. We highly recommend it and Labeau is the perfect place to stay. The owner, Linda, was easy to communicate with and the process of booking etc was seamless. A wonderful 5 star experience all round!

Wonderful place to chill out.

Linda was excellent to deal with, prompt response and very friendly. The house is one of the nicest we have stayed at. It is very well equipped, spacious for 10 people and very light and airy. It is only 10-15 mins from the local supermarket which has pretty much everything you need. The position of the house is fantastic with views all around. When we did have a thunderstorm is was very impressive rolling around the hills. We would be happy to return and can thoroughly reccomend the house. Thank you Linda.

A beautiful rural getaway

From start to finish a memorable escape. Linda and her husband Charles could not have been more helpful and informative, from wine to restaurants and markets we arrived fully loaded. The house itself is tidy and uncluttered, a perfect space to enjoy a relaxing family holiday. We took my 89 year old mother and both my in laws as well as our three boys and my wife’s brother and there was more than enough space to accommodate us all. All facilities are present the only thing missing was a tumble dryer which would be handy when the weather is poor, however a tiny criticism! I cannot recommend this lovely home highly enough. We will return

Fantastic family holiday, best gite we have stayed in!

We had a brilliant stay at the gite. Lovely area nice to go for a walk in the evening, we saw some incredible wildlife everyday. Not close to shops or boulangerie but an easy quick drive into town to a lovely one every morning. Fantastic area to explore so many pretty villages. The gite was stunning, the most incredible views of the Pyrenees, equipped with everything and more - great selection of games, floats for the pool etc for the children. So much space to entertain ourselves and even when there was thunder/lightening we were able to sit out in the barn to watch it. Inside the gite was spotless, comfy beds and sofas and big rooms. They have thought of everything! It was so easy to speak with Linda and she responded very promptly and Stephane and Isabelle were very welcoming on our arrival. After 20+ years of visiting France every year we all agreed this was the best gite we have ever stayed at!

Sorry to leave!

We travelled as two families - one family of 5 and one of 4. The property was perfect for our needs with plenty of bedrooms providing privacy and a fantastic open-plan area for socialising. The location of the property and the aspect of the pool is amazing. Being able to swim with distant views of the Pyranees made for an extremely relaxing week. We travelled into the local towns of Auch and Mirande on market days and made the trip South to Lourdes at the foot of the mountains. A really amazing part of France. We could not fault the property or the owner - everything was exactly as described, communication was efficient and most helpful, all our queries were answered very promptly. The information pack provided by the owner was excellent and really helped us plan our break. We would have no hesitation recommending the property - you will be sorry to leave!

French Farmhouse of dreams!

We stayed at the perfectly named Labeau in late July/early August and could not fault the property. It was spotlessly clean and we were met by the charming property manager. The house is extremely well equipped, with a huge variety of glasses, crockery and a fully kitted out kitchen with everything you could need. The views are outstanding and the pool is gorgeous. The covered seating area by the pool was lovely and where we spent much of our time, when not relaxing on the very comfortable sun loungers. Linda was a great host and was informative and responsive. There are several wonderful bakeries in Mirande, together with a lovely market and supermarkets in Mirande and Auch, both of which are very easy to access. The only slight downside with teenagers with a mobile data allowance is that there is no WiFi at the property. A really excellent stay, thank you.

Hi Klara Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I'm so glad you had a great holiday and appreciated how clean and well equipped the house is! We try hard to look after it. As for teenagers and WIFI, that's a tricky one! :) I'm constantly debating whether to install it or not. I've resisted so far, and my own teenagers have survived, in fact they actually now enjoy going there to take a break from being online 24/7! As do I! I just take it year by year and value guests feedback, so we'll see how much longer I can hold out on this! Thank you for staying with us and you know where to find us if you wish to return. Best House, Best Views & Oh so quiet

We visit and hire every year in France in many places and this was OH so the best. Very well equipped house - from kitchen with everything you need to games galore and then that fantastic pool with those views. There is plenty of space ( although we were spoilt with only being four).We had our dogs who could roam the grounds which are partially enclosed, with no concerns from us. The outside area is basic but was constantly used. The pool is great - well kept and maintained and gives you unspoilt views over the roaming countryside (and sheep) and to the Pyrenees. Just book this place for the views by day and night. Linda (the owner) was very informative and speedy with all information.Local boulangerie and supermarkets very good. Only drawback ( if you can call it that ) was no WiFi but data roaming worked well. Definitely recommend and thinking about next year already.

Fantastic three weeks

We stayed as a family including grandparents and children aged 11, 5 and 3. The gite was perfect for us with plenty of space indoor and out. The pool is the best we’ve ever had, the saltwater system much nicer than chlorine and it had a well proportioned shallow end and stepped access for the kids. Stephane came 3x week to clean pool. The gite was well equipped and exceptionally clean on arrival. With plenty of bathrooms and good living space. We took a trip into the Pyrenees to the Funicular del Pic nr. Lourdes. Very nice. Took kids to nearby farm, Vallon des Reves - recommend for little ones. Also nice small park in Mirande. Also visited nearby markets in Mirande, Auch, Sessian and Bassoues (very pretty), all very good. We didn’t eat out (young kids!) but actually didn’t want to with the setting at Labeau, the outdoor patio was so tranquil with a stunning view. Also perfect for stargazers. We had good communication with Linda before our arrival who was accommodating to our requests and questions. First time we’ve stayed in this region of France and we fell in love with it.

Couple on holiday for two weeks

You always read glowing reviews with a degree of scepticism, but this is a really great house maintained to a 5* level. The pictures are accurate but it is even better than it looks! We stayed for two weeks, had a wonderful time and would have no reservations about going back again. The downstairs living area is open plan with a kitchen that has every possible thing you could want. Two fridges, a microwave, full cooker & fan oven and a dishwasher make life easy. Outside there is a great seating area which has shade for much of the day next to a very large heated swimming pool which was a comfortable 84 degrees. We didn’t take little people but there’s loads of things to keep them occupied both in the pool and out if you do. The bedrooms were all of a good or large size with good bath/shower facilities, lashings of hot water. There’s lots to see and do in the area – the main town of Auch is 15-20 minutes away and has all the facilities you might need. The owner leaves a great book with details of things to do, places to eat etc. It’s a great base if you want to stay in Southern France. We visited Lourdes and Toulouse as well as a plethora of tourist sites, small villages and the odd café or two for a rose and a Monaco! Our only regret was booking two and not three weeks!

Nous avons été parfaitement satisfaits de notre séjour. La maison est d'une propreté irréprochable et parfaitement bien équipée. Elle bénéficie d'un très bel emplacement avec une magnifique vue dégagé vers le sud. C'est un excellent point de départ pour découvrir le sud du Gers en vélo ou en voiture. C'est aussi la possibilité de profiter de la piscine et du barbecue...La gentillesse et la disponibilité de Stéphane qui nous a accueillis sont aussi très appréciables.

Fantastisch huis, waar we erg hebben genoten. Huis is erg schoon en de beheerder is goed bereikbaar. Heerlijk zwembad en alle voorzieningen voor volwassenen en kinderen zijn aanwezig. Enige puntje van aandacht is dat het niet mogelijk is om in de master-bedroom te douchen. Maar er zijn nog twee andere douches in huis.

Excellent séjour dans cette jolie maison confortable, spacieuse et bien équipée.Celle-ci, située au sommet d'une colline avec une terrasse avec une très grande piscine, domine les alentours à 180 avec une vue magnifique allant jusqu'aux Pyrénées.Très bonne communication avec Linda, ainsi que Stéphane et son épouse pour l'accueil et le départ.Idéal pour allier repos, farniente et visites de beaux villages.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli dans cette grande maison bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié les rangements, la propreté et la belle piscine chauffée permettant de vraiment nager. Petit bémol concernant l'étanchéité de la baignoire à l'étage, mais cela sera sans doute règlé bientôt. Que de beaux souvenirs !

Je suis ravi que vous ayez passé de bonnes vacances ! Je suis désolé que vous ayez eu un petit problème avec la baignoire. C'est la première fois qu'un client nous signale ce problème, nous allons donc y remédier pour l'été prochain. Nous mettons tout en œuvre pour que la maison offre à nos clients tout le nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. Merci pour votre appréciation et d'avoir réservé vos vacances chez nous ! Bonne Journée

Séjour parfait !

Rien à redire, notre séjour a été parfait :) La maison est très spacieuse et très propre. La piscine est super grande et la vue sur les environs est à couper le souffle ! Gros plus pour la table de ping pong 😄

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison parfaitement entretenue et extrêmement bien équipée. Plusieurs espaces extérieurs permettent de profiter pleinement et la vue est superbe ! Si nous devions mettre un point négatif ça serait sur la distribution des chambres originale avec une chambre passante, mais ça ne nous a pas dérangé. À noter la propreté des lieux et la gentillesse de la propriétaire ainsi que des gens qui gèrent la maison . Nous y reviendrions sans problème 👌

La maison et ses environs sont encore plus beaux en vrai ! Bien équipée, tout y est pour passer d excellentes vacances !
