Southwinds E-13 is located on the third floor and has spectacular ocean and sound views. Views from every window. Great for families or a romantic getaway for two, with easy access to the beach and pool. One pool is located next to this building. Completely renovated. Immaculate condition. 2 bedrooms, 2 full big bathrooms. 2 queen beds, 2 twin bunk beds - sleeps 6. Full kitchen: microwave, dishwasher, glass top stove, refrigerator, new front loading washer/dryer. WiFi access for entire complex including the pools. 40" HD TV, Blu-Ray player and Roku in Living Room. 32" HD TV and Roku in main bedroom. Southwinds is a family friendly ocean front condominium with two swimming pools, grills, and additional laundry facilities on site. It is a short drive down the road or a short walk down the beach to get to Fort Macon State Park. No smoking and no pets! Southwinds does not allow trailers or boats to be parked here. Parking passes for two cars. Includes bedroom linens and bath towels. Family friendly and great for kids in the summer. In the Spring/Fall and shoulder weeks, great for romantic getaways and slow relaxing.

NOTE: No Elevators at Southwinds

All remodeling at Southwinds is completed. Southwinds has all new roofs, balconies, landings, stairs, and walkways.

Very clean and nicely updated condo. Beautiful views. This was our second year renting this condo because of the nice views, cleanliness and ease of communicating with the property owner. We will be back again sometime and again thoroughly enjoyed our beach vacation!

great place to stay, close to the water with 2 pools. close to Fort Macon State Park. a little small for 2 bedrooms, but all in all a great stay.

Second stay here

This was our second stay here and we love the condo. It is a great size for our family of 4, it is well stocked with supplies that you need for a week, and it has great access to beach. It is located in an area away from the busier parts of the beach, so it is quiet and less crowded, great for a getaway.

Great beach stay

Clean and nice condonwith the living view of the ocean. The property is nice with 2 pools and beach access. Near Fort Macon so the area is a bit more quiet.

We had a great time at the condo even thou hurricane Debby came by and it rained alot. The area was fun and the beaches are greats.... Recommend this condo

This place was fantastic! The condo was clean and you could tell the property overall is well maintained. Excellent communication with the owner before and after the trip (we forgot some belongings). The area is super laid back and quiet, the beach is not overcrowded at all, neither were either of the pools. I would stay here again!

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay! Great place for a smaller family. Michael was very responsive to all communication. He also checked in with us via text throughout our visit. The only [minor] cons are the stairs to the 3rd floor and the walk to the beach. But, totally doable if you are able-bodied!

Wonderful vacation!

My family stayed at Mikes condo for 7 days and it was wonderful. The condo was very clean, close to the pool and beach which helped having little ones. I love that they have security as well as quiet time after 10pm. Mike was quick to message back when we had an internet issue, and great to work with. We enjoyed ourselves and will return!

Perfect vacation spot!

As a family of 5 with a variety of ages, this condo offered everything we needed. It has beautiful views of the ocean and sound. The condo was very clean and had all the amenities included a full kitchen, washer/dryer, tv in family room and master bedroom, plus 2 full baths. The owner Mike was very quick to respond if we had questions and friendly. Hope to vacation here again!

This unit is the awesome! Nice views of sound/ocean and great breezes on balcony and inside should you decide to open the windows. Comfortable amenities. Complex is quiet, well maintained, and staff are friendly. We hope to return soon :-)

Best Atlantic Beach getaway

this was our 2nd stay at Southwinds and it was better than the first. Clean with all the amenities you need with east and private beach access. Only wish there was an elevator for these knees! Property owner is so kind and responsive. Can’t wait to book again in the coming years!

The place was very clean, enough room for our family of four and nice balcony to enjoy when not at the beach! Loved having a washer and dryer so we never had to deal with wet beach towels. Will be back again next year!

Beach Vaca

This property was exceptionally clean and had great views of the sound and the ocean. It was easy to access and the listing was exactly like the condominium when we got there. The owner was very nice and very responsive to my questions. The beach was a little walk away, but we were allowed to drive our vehicle within the resort to get closer to the beach and that was awesome. I would book this condominium again, and I would definitely recommend it to others I would give this property a 10 out of 10 rating!

Seafood Festival Time

The 180 degree view from the third level was worth the daily trek. It was our first time at Atlantic Beach, so gave a good perspective! Soooo enjoyed the Morehead Seafood festival Sat./Sun., music, and Beaufort boat ride and waterfront. Could use a bigger pan for group meals. the seafood came out great with some team work. close to Ft. Macon end of island, quiet, Amos Mosquitos was casual, but good menu choices. Neighborhood was friendly too. dog walkers and beach combers. space was more than enough room for our party. enjoyed the deck for morn cup of joe too. felt safe for the five day stay, not like a visitor, and would book again for an outing.

Fantastic time!

It is such a cute property with great views and a very sparsely populated beach. The state park was beautiful and the fort was really interesting and surprisingly fun to visit. The property owner was great to work with! Great vacation!

My daughter and I moved into this condo building when she was 2 years old. We lived here for 7 years. I renovated my first unit to make it comfortable to live in year-round or one week at a time! I moved down the street to Beaufort and rented my unit. That went so well, I decided to buy another unit and renovated it just as nice or better. Everything is new, easy to use, and easy to clean. New AC/heat, new appliances, new washer/dryer. The master bath was upgraded to a full bathroom. I chose Southwinds because it is a family oriented complex and kid friendly. My daughter has made many friends with kids coming down during the summer. She learned to swim in the pool by trying to keep up with the 'big' kids while shunning my advice. Usually there are some kids at the pool or beach to make friends with. However, it never gets too crowded or noisy that you can't relax and have a romantic getaway.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

Southwinds is at the quiet end of Atlantic Beach near Fort Macon. From the Southwinds beach to the left is a 200-yard walk to the bath houses at Fort Macon State Park with a full concession. Freezer pops and ice cream used to be only 50 cents. Walk a mile further to Beaufort Inlet and Fort Macon - the actual Civil War brick fort that is full of cannons and reenactments. Friday night concerts are held in Fort Macon during the summer. During the day, bunny rabbits run across the front lawn. Sometimes large turtles crawl across the lawn. At night you may see foxes trot across the Southwinds parking lot, but they are shy and run away quickly. Bring a flashlight to the beach at sundown and look for ghost crabs along the edge of the surf. Sea turtles come to the area and lay their eggs during late Spring / early Summer nights and hatch during a full moon in the early Fall. Sea turtle nests are wired off and protected. Volunteers monitor the nests close to hatch time and the public can watch the turtles hatch if you are lucky enough to be there at the right time.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

From Southwinds beach to the right is a two mile walk to the Oceana Pier, the Atlantic Beach circle and main public beach. Amos Mosquito's Restaurant is only half a mile down the road from Southwinds, with other restaurants just a little further down the road.
