Hardwood floors throughout, central air/heat, window treatments(plantation blinds) eat in Hollywood style kitchen with Kenmore stainless steel appliances, custom painted with moldings and high ceilings, custom vacuum cleaner, access to private yard with terrace, one car garage and driveway, lots of closet/storage space, washer and dryer, master bathroom with whirlpool tub, pet friendly, family friendly neighborhood, very quiet, come and experience what it is like to live everyday as if you are on vacation

Note: Stays over 28 days requires a refundable damage deposit of $5,500. Deposit is automatically returned by VRBO 7 days after checkout.

Loved the house and its location. We were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the house was, it even had beach towels. It is also in a nice community of homes, right across the street from the beach.

Wonderful Stay

This location was great. Only two blocks from the train that takes you straight into Manhattan. Groceries and restaurants also within walking distance. I would recommend taking the ferry out of pier 11 home at least once and catch the free transfer bus that will take you to the 67th street stop near the train/subway station. Also was great having a fenced yard for our dogs.

Arverne getaway

This is the second year we rented this property from Trisha. She is an amazing host and provides all the equipment/amenities that a beach property renter is likely to need. She is also quick to respond to any issues or questions. Trisha continues to make improvements on the property that made this years stay even more enjoyable than last year.

Not just a beach house, a beach home

Our group stayed in this wonderful beach house for 5 (!) weeks this summer. It’s a long time, but we are completely in love with the house. The owner has thought of absolutely everything, and the house is fully stocked with all the big and little things you need on a vacation. The location really could not get any better. We love the private, beautiful and safe Arverne by the Sea community. It’s right by the local Y for working out and swimming and also right by a Stop and Shop for grabbing quick groceries. And the beach is just steps out the front door. Tricia is an amazing host who takes care of everything.

Fabulous Summer getaway!

Perfect month long escape to Arverne and Rockaway. Great location- walk to beach, boardwalk, restaurants, grocery and more! Well equipped with beach gear, toys, towels, etc. The house has all the linens and towels you need plus washer dryer. House and Kitchen well supplied with paper goods, pots pans dishes, etc. Very nice, large outside patio in back yard but in full afternoon sun can get pretty hot. The hosts are amazing! They are very responsive and communicate quickly with regular follow-up. Wifi, multiple TVs and cable subscription all very good. We loved it and hope to go again!

Beach house perfection

This house is everything I wanted from a Rockaways each vacation. Stayed for a whole month and loved every moment. The home is the perfect location. Across from the beach, very short walk to a grocery store, and the fantastic Rockaway YMCA where we swam almost every day and my son attended day camp is just down the street. It’s close to the subway which allowed us to get into Manhattan easily. The house is stocked with absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is huge and comfortable. Host is very responsive. The Rockaways itself are the only place I want to be in August. So many great restaurants, shops, and amazing beach. Thank you to our great hosts for giving us a dream vacation

Pleasantly Surprised

It is difficult to know what you are renting via online sites, so I was not sure what to expect. However I was pleasantly surprised with this house. It is a modern, clean, and spacious home. It was perfect for our family with 3 bathrooms, open kitchen, and a backyard. Very close to the beach too! I would definitely book again!

Perfect in every way

It doesn't get much better than this. Trisha and Blance couldn't have been more welcoming. Great location and house. 1 1/2 blocks from the beach, 3 blocks from Stop and Shop. Great neighborhood. Close to the subway directly to Manhattan. The best of everything.

Beautiful house and Amazing location

We were in Long Island for a family reunion. Due to family obligations we were not able to check in until late in the evening. The property managers met us and let us into the house. They also gave us an extra parking permit as we had two vehicles. The house is fantastic and was less than a block from the beach. We could see the ocean from the front door. The house was extremely clean and well appointed. The owner accommodated our need for a extra twin bed as we had 6 people in the house and only my wife and I would share a bed. Everything was provided for and we will always have fond memories of our stay there. We loved the house and the location. Joe and Lee Ann

PERFECT BEACH HOUSE!!!

By far the best location, close to beach and walking distance to grocery store. Bikes and beach chairs readily accessible. Surfing lessons just across the street. House is beautiful and back yard is perfect we had our dog with us. Overall amazing property, we will be back again! Thank you!!

Excellent beach getaway

Great location! My sister and I were visiting my son and opted to stay here. It is a Very nice, clean townhouse with many amenities. Property owner and managers were exceptionally accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Good and comfortable.

Beautiful, spacious, well manicured property

The house is beautiful and provides everything you could ever think of needing during your stay. Everything was updated, clean and in good working condition. Great location with a short walk to the boardwalk, beach, train station, stores and restaurants. Also the housekeeper was lovely and very helpful during our stay. The only negative....the cuckoo clock in the living room....it became annoying after a while.

Spacious, clean, lovely beach home

Truly a beach vacation

From start to finish, the house and location were perfect for a vacation with our son and his family. The responsiveness of the housekeeping staff and the property manager from booking to departure was thorough and immediate. The house was stocked with all the beach necessities that I thought I would need to provide. The back yard and one block walk to the beach and boardwalk were perfect for quick and extended beach trips with little ones and a nice walk to our daughter and her family's home.....Far Rockaway residents! We are familiar with the restaurants, ferry options and shopping and were glad to share those with our son. I would stay here again and hope to do so. Thanks also for providing such a good weather week!

Great Location, Perfect Size, Excellent Amenities, & Wonderful Hosts

My husband and I met three other members of our family in New York for spring break. We decided on this beach house in Arverne as it was conveniently located by everything we needed: JFK, transit to the City, and the rest of Long Island. The house is wonderful, just the right size for three adults and two teenagers. It has modern styling, excellent amenities (FiOS Internet, decently appointed kitchen, three parking spaces, easy beach access, super pet-friendly, fenced-in yard, walking distance to groceries & restaurants, etc.), and the owners were very responsive. We didn't have a single issue for our entire stay, yet the owners still called us mid-trip to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction and that we were completely comfortable. Other reviewers have mentioned that due to its proximity to JFK, the sound of airplanes was a minor distraction (and yes, the planes fly *right* over the house), but honestly, the house is constructed with high quality, noise dampening materials, because we didn't really even notice much noise when we were inside. It honestly wasn't ever an issue for us. Everyone in our group had a fantastic time, and the house was absolutely perfect. We would definitely come back again.
