Home away from Home!!

This is a spacious 1980's Cottage has approximately 1000 sq ft, vaulted ceiling open floor plan 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage that can accommodate 4 adults, or a small family of four. Due to the COVID Pandemic we are taking extra cleaning precautions and following the CDC and VRBO cleaning protocols.
The kitchen is fully stocked to make any size meal you may need. Feel spoiled using brand new electric oven and storing your cold and frozen goods in side by side refrigerator with water and ice dispenser.
The bedroom has a brand new King size bed with plush mattress. Updated linens and pillows are always a priority at our cottage.
The living room has a sofa, and two additional chairs for extra seating. There is a Murphy bed that converts to full size bed as well.
Large bath is complete with large walk in shower, plush towels, and complimentary toiletries.
The cottage has white birch flooring installed for that new cozy home feel, as well as easy clean up.
The cottage has a Xeriscape backyard. Saving water one day at a time! Complete with gas grill, contemporary fence, river rocks, "grass" that looks perfect all the time, and a couple chairs to enjoy quiet time. Please note the gate is about 3 inch gap between each rung, if bringing a small dog.

We offer high speed WIFI connection for our guests, which should make it easy to stream movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Peacock. The cottage has two TVs, one 70” smart TV in the living room and one 32” smart TV in the bedroom. Both TVs have around 51 digital HD channels and stream various providers.
The cottage has central heating and cooling system installed complete with smart EcoBee thermostat.
There is also a covered 1 car carport to the left of the cottage, and plenty of extra space for an RV, Trailer, boat in the field on the west side of the carport that you are free to use.
There is also a park one block from the cottage that has an off leash section for your furry friends! Guests should Be assured complete privacy when staying in the cottage. We love being able to host our guests and give them the best of the best.

Over all it was a very nice stay. Central to everything we wanted to do and see. The house was decorated very nicely. The bed was very comfortable and large. We were very satisfied.

Our stay was good. Kitchen cabinets need to be replaced along with the front door. Lacking some cabinet knobs and front door total mess. Front porch and ramp need much work. Bed very comfortable. Guess all is good but just needs much updating.

Jenn our host is great, very responsive. We arrived a little earlier than expected and she was kind enough to let us in It had everything we needed and more. On the wall next to the kitchen there is a Pac-Man game. So much fun!

This house needs a lot of work! The bed and shower were great! The washer and dryer were also good. Ice maker worked well. The couch and TV were all good! The video game were a nice touch.The smoke detectors in the bedroom were missing. The steps out front are an accident waiting to happen. They’re loose! House needed a real general cleaning. The front door and sliding glass door on the carport side are very old and needing repair or replacement.

This was a very comfortable place. Loved the notes all around. There was coffee and laundry detergent/dryer sheets, making it easy to clean up after floating on the river. TV streaming options were great as was the shower. Communication was easy with host. Great value for the price!

The place is small, but we only needed space for the 2 of us and the dog. It had all the basics, and we appreciated the fenced-in yard.

Cozy Cottage

The cottage is just great for a few guests. It was clean, quiet, and equipped with everything you would need. The description on the website was exactly how it is. It is in a location that is close to main roads that take you into Boise and Meridian. I would stay there again.

Great place, bigger than expected

Had a great stay here, two adults and two kids. They still have the pull out couch and the Murphy bed plus king bed in the bedroom so each kid had a bed. Great kitchen (although we were only here one full day and didn’t end up cooking) including a nice spice rack. 9 year old played with the ax throwing game. We walked to the park where there is a skate park, dog park, splash pad, and amazing giant playground. HVAC works great, we were here in February so needed heat. Will be back!

Pet Friendly

The place is a step back in time, with new flooring, We arrived after dark in a rainstorm and were glad to have shelter. We are not pet people, but I did not expect that much dog hair all over the house. We problem solved and used the pet friendly washer to get the dog hair out of our clothing, and the Robot floor cleaner to sweep the floors. The owners have been notified. I would have loved to give the place a perfect score. The owners were easy to contact and responded quickly to questions. It is more spacious than the pictures depict with good Wi-Fi. The neighborhood is quiet and easily accessible. Very Light traffic area. I would recommend the place to pet lovers.

Nice and clean older home

Very clean with everything you could possibly need. Nice neighborhood that we took several walks in. The extra bed in the “cabinet” was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Boise was one of our longest stops while traveling. The cottage was much better than a hotel as we were traveling with a dog. We spent majority of our time visiting with family and friends not too far from the cottage. It was nice to come back and relax.

Boise Visit

The property was larger than I thought from the photos. But it had everything I was looking for, modern conveniences and I was thoroughly impressed. Definitely would stay again.

I am a host that loves to host as much as I love to travel to other vacation rentals. My husband and I have been married for 20 years and have 3 children. We love to travel to beaches, lakes, hot springs and anywhere in nature. We love to host people in our cottage as it is close to town but gives us plenty of nature. Many guest will be fortunate to see baby geese, ducks and even occasional baby kittens. We are continually updating the cottage to have a warm and comforting place for out of towners to enjoy.

Quiet older neighborhood in Boise, within 5-15 minutes to everything in Boise. We love the fact that we are so close to everything in Boise, but we still have the feeling of the country. Guests should look to stay at our cottage if they want a cozy cottage feel. We think the cottage is like a great pair of worn jeans, so comfy, and cozy.
