Welcome to The Retreat at Scaurodoon. A beautiful recently built, 2 bedroom condo type house. We are located in the heart of Burns Country in Ayr, beautifully situated at the estuary of the River Doon, right by the famous Ayr Beach. Burns Cottage, Museum and the famous Brig O'Doon are all within a 20 minute walk . There are beautiful river walks and stunning beach walks on the doorstop and Ayr Town Centre is a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk from the house.

There are top class restaurants, cafes pubs and shops within easy walking distance.

South Ayrshire is also golfing country and there are two excellent local courses within a ten minute walk from the house and several other top flight links courses within a 20 minute drive including Prestwick Old Course, the site of the first ever Open Golf Championship and the British Open courses at Royal Troon and iconic Turnberry.

Further afield Glasgow is within an hours drive or 40 minute train journey from Ayr Station. Edinburgh is about 90 minutes drive from Ayr. There are plenty of public transport options nearby

The property itself is beautiful with all the facilities you will require for your stay. Both bedrooms have King Size double beds, one of which can be split into 2 singles if required. There is a "Jack and Jill" bathroom between the two bedrooms and another shower room downstairs.

The property is attached as an annexe to our own home but has it's own entrance and is entirely self-contained. There is a connecting door to the entranceway to our own property but this will be locked and not accessed in any way during your stay.
