Apartment 28 offers a superb location, high-end accommodation, and great value for money, with the latest Covid secure disinfectant practices.

Apartment 28 is the perfect location with under 5 minutes walk to all amenities including the town centre, theatre, key transport hubs and the beach.

Apartment 28 retains all the lovely features of this 1830's property, yet has been finished to a high-end specification suitable for the 21st Century!

Both bedrooms have been equipped with luxury Hypnos beds with a luxurious Italian Leather double sofa bed in the lounge, offering flexible sleeping options. Egyptian Cotton and similar hotel quality bed linen used as standard.
The Bedrooms include a King size bed, with a separate zip together super king ensuite bedroom offering flexibility of singles beds if required. TVs are fitted in both bedrooms in addition to the lounge.
Children's cot and high chair can be made available on request.

The main lounge and dinning room which incorporates the unique single action sofa bed, is flooded with daylight offers great views, with original shutters for privacy at night.

Our first visit to Scotland (and a babymoon) and staying at Fiona’s apartment was definitely a highlight. Such a beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean space. Fiona had thoughtfully filled it with everything we could possibly need, which meant we didn’t have to bring a lot of our own things. Being just 5 minutes from the beach and park (which our 5-year-old loved!) was perfect, especially as my wife was pregnant and couldn’t do a lot of walking.We felt right at home from the moment we arrived, and it truly made our trip extra special. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, and family-friendly getaway.

We had an absolutely wonderful two week stay at Fiona's lovely flat. The accommodation was well appointed with everything we needed and true to the photos. Fiona and James were terrific hosts and very responsive. The location was perfect; close to the bus and train stations, a very short stroll to the beach, with restaurants and cafes close by. Highly recommend this lovely flat and we would stay here again and again!

This flat is clean and very comfortable, just as beautiful as the photos! Loved the decor and the artwork, the beds were fantastic, and Fiona was super responsive and easy to communicate with. We made good use of the washing machine, and it even has a dishwasher. Really appreciated the ability to have twin beds for our teen sons rather than one larger bed. We also appreciated the dedicated off-street parking. Note that the flat is up one flight of stairs, be advised if you have any mobility issues or are traveling with large suitcases, there is no lift (standard for this age of house). The town of Ayr wraps up pretty early--shops close between 4 and 6 pm, and by 9 the streets are pretty well deserted--a bit surprising for a beach town in high summer. (Maybe Ayr is more of a "town with a beach" than a "beach town.") But if you want to enjoy a relaxing flat that makes a good base for golf or further explorations (such as the Isle of Arran, a short ferry ride away), I would recommend this lovely property.

Location Location

Just had a wonderful 3 day stay in Ayr, the apartment is in the perfect location for exploring Ayr and the surrounding area, the host Fiona was great and made you feel welcome from the moment you are handed the keys. The apartment is spotless bright and comfortable.I will definitely be booking again.

Great Apartment

Even better in reality than the photos. More spacious than I imagined.

Fiona's place is clean, cute, comfy and well located for a visit to Ayr. It is more spacious than I imaged and beautifully decorated. The beds were super comfy and it is so close to great restaurants and cafe's. Highly recommend her place.

Very Good Apartment

The apartment has the perfect location,no car needed and the style of the apartment has that artist touch which is very nice,everthing you need is there and walking distance to everthing also bus station round the corner for a day trip to many places,Glasgow etc,i have stayed in many in ayr and this 1 is very good.

Beautiful Flat

Had a great stay in this beautiful, spotless and comfortable flat. We had a slight problem with the heating on the Saturday evening and Fiona and her husband came round right away and fixed it in a few minutes. The flat is very central to all the bars and restaurants and 5 mins walk to the beach.

Ayr Wedding stay

Must thank Fiona for the well appointed and comfortable accommodation she provided us with. Was more like staying with a friend than in temporary accommodation. The flat was very well equipped with cleaning products, etc etc. Will certainly recommend this property to our friends.

Overall our stay was very good. Apartment was well stocked with everything that was needed for self catering. The location of the apartment was excellent as was the host Fiona who went the extra mile for us. However my brother found the en-suite shower very small and the basin in the other toilet was very slow to drain the water. Having said that I would certainly consider staying there again.

Excellent home from home

Lovely clean comfortable apartment with great quirky art/decoration, very well equipped and comfy beds. Very central in Ayr so possible to go out without taking the car in the evening or to the beach. Many good golf courses near by.

Ayr and Fiona- a great 5 star match

We loved the apartment and it’s location. A really top notch restaurant (Saffy’s) and fun pub (Wellington’s) just down the street. Beds were really comfortable. And whenever we had questions or needed something, Fiona was incredibly responsive. The letting comes with a parking spot around the corner which is really helpful since the local parking attendants were very vigilant in handing out tickets. We highly recommend this rental.
