Waterville is one of the 'Must visit' locations on the Wild Atlantic Way and Ring of Kerry, this romantic area is steeped in history and renowned for its beauty, tranquillity and peace. Our beautiful spacious Bungalow is near the sea in a truly spectacular location, overlooking Ballinskelligs Bay, the Atlantic and the Mountains.

Lohar Beach House has been designed to optimise its prominent position overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and to provide light, spacious, luxurious accommodation. In our opinion and those of friends and customers who have visited the property, the views are unsurpassed and the sunsets create a romantic setting.

It is the ideal choice for: Golf, Fishing, Diving, Riding, Walking, Surfing, Beach combing and many other outdoor activities also, touring the Ring of Kerry. Being easily accessible from Cork, Shannon & Kerry Airports it's a favourite of both the worlds Top Golfers who play the renowned Links courses and anglers who have access to the best Sea and Game Fishing in Europe. If you prefer driving we are easily accessible from all ferry routes including the new Roscoff to Cork Service which is ideal for mainland European travellers.



TV & Theatre System: Panasonic 42 inch High definition TV together with a matching 5.1 theatre system and Blue DVD which includes IPOD dock and connections for any MP3 player - The addition of SKY + and FreeSat digital means that excellent entertainment can had by all and easy to access to your music library if your music is already on your Ipod .

Spectacular location great house and fully equipped, wonderful bay views, the weather was extremely kind during our stay and we were treated to watching some dolphins. We even got out on our paddleboards since the sea was so calm. Totally exceeded our expectations. The Derrynane Mass Path walk was excellent. The food in the Lobster in Waterville was delicious. Certainly recommended.

We had a wonderful time. The home is absolutely gorgeous! We were able to view the ocean from the home when we had wind and rain. We were cozy and warm. When the weather cleared up we were able to take a wonderful walk down to the ocean. The lovely one lane road in front of the property did not have very much traffic. Waterville had a nice grocery store. We made our meals at the home because it had the best views around. We would highly recommend this home.

We had a memorable week in this outstanding holiday home. The views were the main reason for our choice and proved even more spectacular than the photos had suggested. The house itself was spacious and welcoming and we had everything we needed for five adults. We were able to make use of the beautiful patio and garden on the warmer, sunnier days and had some great walks, and days out – Staigue fort and Derrynane beach and the house, gardens and surrounding area were particular favourites. We left reluctantly (and in the only really heavy rain of the week) and hope to return in the future.

Fantastic

We had wonderful 10 days on this great place. All, what we needed, was there. Marcelle, thank you for your wellbeeing house . It was super clean, and the hares, birds, sheeps and the cat , also the landscape and the oceaview were a big reason for 5 stars.

Lovely stay by the ocean

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days and loved every minute of it! Incredible views and plenty of room to spread out, all the amenities of home plus some. A little hicup checking in that was quickly taken care of and everything else went smoothly. Enjoyed the ocean view with waves & bird calls in the background.

This home was incredible! We arrived after a long flight and long drive across the country and immediately felt cozy and welcomed! The home was so clean, the beds were very comfortable and fit all 3 of the couples traveling perfectly. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook from home. The living room is comfortable and perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking in the rain. The water pressure in the showers was awesome and then the heated towel racks were an added bonus. The views from this house were outstanding! We saw 4 rainbows in just our short 4 days staying there. We were able to sit out and have dinner with the sunset view over the ocean. This location truly made this visit to Ireland feel wonderful in every way!

4 day stay with family

Lovely place, clean and spacious. All very easy (1st time using a service like this). Was able to host friends for a celebration meal (oven is big) and everyone was impressed with the overall setup. View is amazing.

Breathtaking Loher Beach House

We absolutely loved the Loher Beach House. Marcelle was a wonderful and very communicative host. If you want to fully experience the ancient beauty of southwest Ireland, this is the place for you. Amazing Views at Loher Beach House

Our family group of 5 were very pleased with this home that we used as a home base for our visit to County Kerry. The website photos don’t do the setting justice. It’s beautiful, and the accommodations very comfortable. We loved that each bedroom had its own bath. Kitchen very well equipped. Very bright and happy home. Communication with the host and access to the property was a breeze. Highly recommend it.

Ireland vacation

The house was amazing and perfect. It was impeccably clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. The location was exactly what we were looking for to find solitude and a great place to take day trips from. Amazing views from the front windows and the patio. Easy quarter mile walk to the rocky beach access. Easy drive into Waterville for restaurants and amenities. Communication with the host was easy, professional, welcoming and responsive. Staying at this house was our favorite part of our trip. We look forward to coming back.

Absolutely Perfect – A Dream Stay in Waterville!

We just returned from the most incredible stay at this beach house in Waterville, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The location is absolutely breathtaking – right on the water with panoramic views of the Atlantic.The house itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with a perfect balance of modern comforts and cozy, coastal charm. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and every room was spotless. It’s clear the hosts put great care into every detail.Being on the Ring of Kerry, this place was the ideal base for exploring the surrounding beauty – from hiking trails and golf courses to charming local pubs and scenic drives. Waterville itself is such a special village, with a welcoming vibe and rich history.Whether you’re looking for peace and quiet or adventure and sightseeing, this beach house has it all. We’re already dreaming about our next visit!

Such a special place!

We loved our stay - the house is spectacular. Every room has large windows and you really feel part of the beautiful mountains and ocean that surround you! It was perfect for the three of us - we had our own space as well as the large living room to hang out together. My teenage boys loved playing chess! The short walk to the beautiful beach is unforgettable and probably our favorite memory of our entire trip to Ireland. Marcelle was very responsive and everything was easy. We will be back!

Absolutely gorgeous setting

The location of this beautiful home is unforgettable. We had an amazing time going for long walks, visiting the local chipper and dining on the patio, walking to the beach and day tripping around the Ring of Kerry. We feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this spot for our first trip to Ireland. It is a truly magical spot for rest and relaxation. The layout of the house was great, and it is furnished simply and practically. The view of the sea is breathtaking. I highly recommend this bungalow for a relaxing retreat, with lots of small towns nearby to visit. For suggestions moving forward, a few extras such as extra pillows, towels, sheets, and pillowcases would make a long stay more comfortable, and laundry soap.

Gorgeous home gorgeous view! Perfection!

The home is beautiful with stunning views. Everything is well kept and top quality. Easy checkin in and check out and host and manager were accommodating and helpful. Home is on beautiful property yet close to many attractions. Lots of half day or day trips if you like, but if you just want to take a walk and take in the beautiful scenery of Ireland you have that as well. 110% I will stay here again! The only thing I would request is that some basic essentials such as bath soap, shampoo and the like would of been nice . We arrived after a long day of travel and were unable to shower and clean up as the stores were closed and we had no bathing soaps. A spot of tea would of been wonderful as well.

Tranquil Setting

Amazing home and location at the tip of the Ring of Kerry. The pictures do not do this home justice! Everything was top of the line and spotless which is important to me when traveling. We did have a little trouble finding our way as you turn in between 2 buildings onto a narrow 1 lane road. The housekeeper was very responsive to our calls, texts and needs during our stay. Sheep and cows were some of our neighbors which we loved and there were many places to hike throughout our stay. There is a large rock in the yard and we sat on this every morning to drink our coffee and again at night with a bottle of wine. We would just look out over the amazing scenery around us. There are several beautiful golf courses in the area as well. All of the locals are extremely friendly and we met some very nice people during our stay here. We never turned on the tv while we were there, we just enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty of this part of Ireland. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to hopefully returning one day.

My husband and I are originally from Meath and Roscommon respectively, but we have lived in Malahide in Co Dublin since 1999. We are both solicitors. We have two children, aged 9 and 13.

We spent many years renting properties in Ireland for our holidays, and in particular in Kerry. Having tried out many of Kerry's most beautiful locations, we fell in love with Loher Beach House the first time we stayed there in 2009. We came back each year thereafter and when the then-owners lets us know that they were thinking of selling, we jumped at the chance. In our opinion (and indeed that of many others) you will not find a nicer home or location to spend your valuable time. This is a stand out place with stand out reviews to back it up.

We know of no other holiday home with so many 5 star reviews from discerning travellers. Our beautiful house is luxuriously appointed throughout with superb proportions which means there is plenty of room for you all to relax in comfort and style. For example the lounge is 9m x 8m. As our mentioned in our reviews this is a home from home. To have all of this in such a stunning and yet convenient location overlooking the Wild Atlantic is very rare and why many of our customers return.
