Cosy cottage tucked away

Lovely little cozy cottage tucked away on a farm. Little hard to find but made the right guess in the end by turning in where it says Whites Farm. Kitchen is well stocked, living room/kitchen/dinner is cosy with a log burner stove.

Unfortunately the cottage didn’t live up to the expectations of the photos. It felt a little neglected. We chose not to stay for the second night that we booked.

Hidden Getaway

Great property to getaway from the rush of life. Quiet. The cottage faced the fields and you felt hidden away from everything. The owners were very accomodating when we had issues before arrival. A bit of a drive to get some shopping which wouldn't have been an issue if we were more organised, Everything else was great.

Lovely Cottage, Lovely Location

Property was lovely, just as shown in the photos, fully equipped with everything we needed, it was very clean, location was beautiful and very peaceful. The owner was very friendly ad helpful with good communication directing us to the cottage , would definitely stay again.

Cosy and compact in quiet location

Converted upper floor of a small barn with thick walls helping to keep it cool in the hot weather. Some may find access and parking space a little tight and the broadband slow but in other respects there was everything we needed - and such a peaceful location on the very edge of Exmoor. Despite its apparent remoteness some good eateries nearby as well as great scenery.

Cosy little cottage

Property just about enough for 2 adults and a teen. Clean with friendly and helpful owners also on site, and a great location to see the sights. About 25/30 minutes from Dunster which is a lovely village with a castle and beach a few minutes drive away. Also not far from Minehead. No local shops so ensure you have supplies. Can highly recommend the Notely Arms pub for dinner. Simon and his family are so friendly and have their own print off to recommend walks in the area. Cottage was just about right for 3 nights and in a lovely countryside setting.

The most beautiful and peaceful place.

The only noise we heard was the occasional bleat of a sheep. The views from the cottage and in the surrounding area are magnificent. We stayed in the double room where the bed was very comfortable and the linen of top quality.

Stay at cider house

Enjoyed a wonderful couple of nights at the cider house. We had everything we needed and more with the selection of children's dvds to keep our daughter entertained before bedtime! Lovely location for a peaceful getaway but still near enough to enjoy the nearby attractions.

Comfortable stay!

The cottage is lovely, with very comfortable bed and a lovely wood burner. The Wi-Fi is patchy and the water pressure in the shower is limited but we would stay again and it is peaceful, private and well located .

Lovely cosy Place

Had a Lovely Winter Getaway here , & Learnt how much wood a wood burner goes through!! Very nice pair and very responsive to any problems & Is in a great location for a quiet getaway. Highly recommend:) Thanks guys!

Warm and welcoming!

We arrived late in the dark and rain, and were warmly welcomed by Michaela. The fire was laid, so just had to light it when we got settled in. Lovely and cosy beginning to our stay. Beds very comfy, beautiful soft bed linen. Kitchen well equipped, quiet, peaceful location, all in all, perfect for our 3 night stay in Somerset. We will be very happy to book again in the future.

Comfortable Cottage

The four of us had a great time at Michaela and Steve's cottage. It was situated right for us who had family in the area. Very quiet and relaxing when we were there and had the best of weather. The cottage was clean and had everything we could want from a home to home place. Our hosts, who are very friendly and make sure we had all we needed, even left us some fresh eggs to get us started the next morning. A lovely place for a quiet break, but you must have a car is it is a tad off the beaten track. Would definately stay there again.

Hübsches Cottage

Ein sehr hübsches und gemütliches Cottage mitten im Grünen. Mit dem Auto sind Pubs und Geschäfte innert ein paar Minuten erreichbar. Stephen hat uns freundlich empfangen und alles erklärt, ausserdem gibt es eine Mappe mit wichtigen Informationen. Das Cottage ist mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet und in der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man so braucht.

De omgeving is prachtig en het huisje is heerlijk! Er is overal aan gedacht! Brandschoon en de eigenaren zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar! De bedden zijn prima! We hebben hier heerlijk geslapen!

Johan and his lovely wife were charming guests, so friendly and good natured. We really enjoyed meeting them and they left the cottage spotlessly clean and tidy. We are so pleased that they enjoyed staying in our cottage and that the weather was so kind to them.

Brilliant!

The cottage made a lovely base for visiting family in the area. It is a well equipped, clean and tidy cottage with a beautiful little garden and outdoor seating area. Will be wanting to stay again in the future!
