Holpp's Pine Ridge Lake

Small Cabin setting aside a 185 acre private lake. The Cabin is sitting only a few yards from the waters edge, where you can enjoy a day fishing or swimming in the lake. There is a fire pit and charcoal grill in the yard for those cools nights, a swing/glider on the porch to just sit and relax and enjoy the landscape. Cabin comes fully furnished with linens and cooking utensils. Pets are allowed with extra fee and limited to no more than 2.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed.Waking up to the lake and opening the windows was like a dream. We caught and released a couple fish.We will stay here again for sure!

Pros: Location, privacy, air conditioning, scenery, very nice host Dennis.Cons: Bugs, Bugs and MORE Bugs inside everywhere. We could not leave any food out at all!No locks on bedroom doorsOne very tiny bedroom no extra blankets.Could use better curtains.The nice black sofa and chair in the listing was not there.Even with all that, we managed to have a nice time anyway. I think it would be wonderful in the winter when all the bugs are not around.The flies and gnats were the most things we had a problem with.

Lakeside lounging!

The weather was not cooperative most of our stay but we were able to take a nice walk around the lake one day. Even though it rained most of the time, our stay was wonderful just lounging inside looking at the amazing view. A great cabin to get away and relax.

We booked this property after our Christmas plans changed suddenly and we had to travel The lake was beautiful and since itā€™s the middle of winter, we had the whole place to ourselves. The cabin was cozy but big enough to cook and serve Christmas dinner to our family. We would love to visit again when the weather is warmer and we can take advantage of all the lake has to offer.

Quiet and peaceful

We stayed here over Thanksgiving; we enjoyed the view of the lake and walking our dog around the lake. The cabin is part of a campground on the lake so in the warmer months the lake will be a bit busier but this time of year it was very quiet. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable! There was a little portable electric fireplace that I used most of the time, which added a lot of ambiance. The location is about 20 minutes to Crossville and 30 minutes to Cookeville. Monterey was close by, about 10 minutes and seemed like a really cute town. Definitely recommend this.

Nice cabin on the lake, good for families

Very nice cabin on the lake. Very peaceful. We got there before the Fourth of July crowds so the grounds became a little more populated toward the end of our stay but nothing that would ruin anyone's enjoyment. Overall, it was a fun stay. I like the fact that they have added wifi to the cabins. The only extremely minor drawback was with a family of four we were constantly running out of utensils. It was easy enough to just hand wash them but it was an everyday thing with forks. Next time we will be prepared and bring our own plasticware. But overall, it was terrific. We have been to this cabin several times and we would not hesitate to go back!

Girl trip

This little cabin has a beautiful view of the lake and the scenery was gorgeous. Itā€™s was very quiet while we were there. My brain needed to hear those whipperwhills again along with the cricketsā€¦lol. Cabin was spotless and clean. Had all you needed for a getaway. Absolutely loved it. Hope to back againā€¦this was our 2nd stay.

The cabin itself was decent, but i took a shower and when i got out the mirror was steamed up and you could see where someone had wrote on the mirror ( I see you sleeping this place is cool. So needless to say my husband spent quite a bit of time searching the cabin for cameras. SO NOT COOL!! we will not be staying there again. So if you chose to stay there be aware of this.

WONDERFUL FAMILY GETAWAY!

This was our first visit to this hidden gem. We are allready trying to plan another trip. We took 4 grandchildren ages 6 and 7. They loved everything about the trip and so did we. The beach was great and the water is so clean and clear. This is all family owned and operated and it shows. Quaint, quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed the Muddy Pond community also. I just canā€™t say enough. Everything was just perfect and how we wanted to spend Soring Break with the grands. We made so many memories and we were all sad to leave. Highly recommend if you want to enjoy the outdoors and get those kids off of their devices (Wifi worked great but everyone wanted to be outdoors). Thanks to Dennis and family for sharing this piece of heaven.

Good time

Cabin was nice. Grounds were not so nice. Grass high and nasty mudd in parking area ruining a $75.00 pair of shoes. We had a nice stay overall.

Family time

We have stayed at the cabin/lake multiple times in the past and enjoy everything there; from setting on the porch enjoying a cup of coffee to fishing, swimming, floating or just roasting hotdogs over the fire. If you want to just relax and unwind this is the place to be.
