Great family and friends vacation

Everything about our experience at thia property and condo was great. The bonus area with bunk beds was perfect for the kids. We loved the ocean view bedrooms and large patio as well. It was truly a great location and we hope to use it again

Loved it

We were comfortable and loved the property, if anything the pictures on the website did not do it justice. Jyll was available and always got back to me in a timely manner. Will definitely go back, we loved it.

Great stay

Las Paloma’s never disappoints. Condo was great, nice to have the bonus area for teens to have some extra privacy. There was an issue with the Las Paloma’s staff/check in but the owner was responsive and facilitated communication to get the issue resolved. Would recommend the listing be revised as the “bunk bed room” does not have bunk beds, just a single bed.

Fantastic vacation

Thank you for a fantastic stay! Your condo was perfect. Everything that we need it. The Keurig machine didn’t work. But thank you for having some coffee filters. I forgot mine. Maybe adding a lounge chair for balcony. Las palomas never disappoints! Only place we stayed. Dinner at Citron restaurant was perfect. Live music outside by pool also a plus. Awesome time.

Weekday getaway

The property is nice. The checkin process is too long. Great location and amenities. The biggest problem I had was the lack of communication. Apparently, as a “guest of owner” (this is how I was booked) I was not entitled to towel service at the pool, and the owner did not provide pool towels in the condo. This would not have been a big deal, had I known in advance. The listing says “you have full access to all the amenities at the resort.” Apparently that’s true for everything but pool towels. Other than that, the location and property are hard to beat! Beautiful, clean condo. My family had a nice time.

Great stay

My family and I just recently stayed for 4 nights. Everything was great, only down fall was check in time is not at 3 like listed, wait time for the elevators are long (using the stairs with young kids is a challenge). The room was great and communication with Jill was wonderful and easy, only thing I would’ve changed about the room was the bunk bed location unfortunately you can’t put it up against the wall so my kids could not sleep on it because the rail was only on 1 side and my kids are crazy sleepers. Overall trip and stay was wonderful thank you so much Jill!

Wonderful property

Great unit. Fully stocked and exceptionally clean. Beautiful view of the ocean. Jill was such a delight to work with. She is quick with her responses and so kind.

Wonderful Unit, kids loved the bunk beds!

Our stay was great and the room had everything we needed. The kids loved that there was a TV in the bunk room so they could watch cartoons during quiet time. Good layout and great location.

Super bad experience during the check in due to the property owner responsability

First of all I have to say I love the palomas resort! All the problems were with the condo owner. We drive more than 9 hours to Puerto Peñasco, 4 adults and 3 kids. Finally when we arrive we did just in time to make the check in (3 PM) according to the VRBO info, for our surprise the check in in the hotel is at 4 PM - first thing! Then, during the check in, the resort tried to make me an "impact fee": for the resort bracelets, then after clarify that we rent the condo the impact fee was cancelled, the property owner did register our visit as a "guest" and not as "rental", as a guest you need to pay the impact fee + you do not have cleaning service, as a guest the property owner does not need to pay a fee charged by the resort, after this the resort had to re-configurate our check in information to cancel the impact fee and to have cleaning service - this was the second thing. We were ready to finish the check in, when they ask for the number of persons, I said seven - as I stated during my VRBO reservation, they told me that we must pay for the 7th person, because the max allowed in that condo was 6 persons, I explained them in VRBO the property allowed a maximum of 7 persons, if an extra charge would be necessary for the 7th person VRBO will charge it automatically, I know this because I quote in other condos where I see the extra charge of the 7th person. I tried to make contact with the property owner via VRBO messages and I called her twice with no success, it is time that she does not have the attention to return my call or text me back. I really do not recommend the rental with this owner, very bad experience, extra fees and unknown charges.

Great Vacation Destination

This was our first time at this condo and will definitely return! The condo was well stocked and comfortable furnishings. Beautiful rooms and huge balcony with breathtaking ocean views. The owner Jill was prompt in responding to all my questions and provided valuable information. The property was clean and with many amenities. They had activities for adults and kids and everyone had fun. The staff was polite and very friendly. I would highly recommend this condo!

Great space to accommodate our family of 6. The owner was extremely helpful confirming the reservation and the number of guests to ensure a smooth check-in process. The beds were very comfortable. We'd love to visit again!

Easy drive from Phoenix. Beautiful views from a wonderful unit. We will definitely be back!

The resort was gorgeous. Lots of activities all day every day for all ages. The ocean was absolutely beautiful. Thought we were in the Caribbean. Was nice to be able to use both phase 1 and phase 2 amenities of the resort. Our unit was perfect for our family. All the amenities of home. Great view of the ocean. Huge balcony! Jill, the owner was quick to respond to any texts or emails prior to going as well as when we were there . Staff was amazing and helpful. No problems driving into town for shopping and restaurants. Went down to the fish market area. Lots of souvenir type shopping to do. Bargaining with the locals was easy. Hope to go back soon. We brought cash and exchanged for pesos at Elektra, near Waldo's. They had the best exchange rate. And that's where all the locals go to exchange their dollars. But, all the stores and restaurants take dollars. We just found that there was a better deal if you used pesos. just make sure you bring an ID with you if you are exchanging dollars for pesos. No problems crossing the border coming back. Just obey all speed limits and stop signs and you should have no problems. Highly recommend getting Mexican insurance, just for peace of mind. My husband and daughter did the ultralight (by Wrecked). They said it was amazing! Only cost $45 each. We were there last week of June and the weather was perfect! It was hotter in Denver,CO that week LOL 106° one day. Was in the mid to upper 90s at the resort, with a nice breeze. Beaches were clean and not too crowded. The tide goes out about 100 yards at low tide. Very nice to walk down and look for shells or a just go for a nice walk.

wonderful owner, cute & comfy place

The owners of this property were very friendly and accessible. I texted and called them a few times before our stay with questions and they were always cheerful and helpful when answering. When there was an issue with my check-in, Jill talked to the personnel on my behalf immediately from my phone when I called her, which impressed me very much. The place is cute & comfy, the A/C works great and there are ceiling fans in every room, including the patio. There were things to do on the beach in front of the property, like riding a banana boat and seeing a local person occasionally stroll by, selling hammocks, sunglasses or whatever to tourists. The sales people were not annoying and comparing it to past trips, it seems like they have cut way down on the number of merchants walking the beach. There were way to many before! If you can snag a palapa on the beach for shade, which we did, it is the perfect place to hang out all day, make conversation with other vacationers and take pictures of your vacation. I highly recommend this fun rental property and plan to return.
