Renovate beach home, steps from two of New England's most beautiful beaches, Good Harbor and Long Beach! This beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home is the perfect place to relax and spend time with family or friends. It comfortably sleeps 6 people (1 King, 1 Queen, 2 twins) and also has a full size futon should you have a guest or two visit during your stay.

Private fenced in backyard, beautifully landscaped, with a gas grill and new outdoor patio furniture (two large white picnic tables which will seat a minimum of 12 people). New outdoor shower just installed. The home is meticulously clean. You are sure to be instantly relaxed when you walk through the front door. 4 off street parking spaces available during your stay. Grill for outdoor cooking.

Did we say steps from beach?! Good Harbor is no more that a 5 minute walk from your front door, and Long Beach is only about a 7 minute walk. No need to park and pay, or wake up early to get a parking spot, both beaches are free since you are walking.

Local attractions less than a mile from the home (most being within walking distance):

- Located between Good Harbor and Long Beach, be at the beach within 5 minute (walk)!

- Cape Ann Coffee & Dunkin Donuts

- Shaw's, Market Basket, and Stop and Shop right up the street

- Charlie's Restaurant (great breakfast and lunch spot), among other restaurants

- Gloucester Center is only a 1.5 miles away, with great shopping, dining and nightlife!

- Rockport is only a 10 minute drive from the home

- Liquor store right up the street, you're on vacation, right?!

- Long Beach Dairy Maid and Surfside Subs, steps from your front door! Top of the hot summer day with an ice cream, or order sandwiches for the beach!

This was a great place to hangout with family; had a lovely deck with a nice grill to make lunches, and close to grocery and everything in Gloucester.

This was our fifth year at this property. It is always clean and this year they provided nice quality linens. It’s a fairly easy walk to the beach and everything you need is close by.

Great house. They even made some improvements this year that made it even better. They provided linens this year which made checking in a little later but still got in before 3:00.

Wonderful family (2 adults, 2 teens) vaca spot! Super convenient location to the Salt Island side of Good Harbor (our favorite), the house itself was extremely clean and comfortable, plenty of room, well-equipped- couldn’t have asked for more. Would absolutely love to return!

This house is laid out great for me, my daughter and son-in-law and three grandchildren. The large deck and fenced in backyard are great for the little ones. We had a great time even though the weather didn’t cooperate very well.

Walk To The Beach

Unfortunately the weather was terrible this year but the house is very comfortable. The house works well for two small families because there are two full bathrooms and bedrooms on separate floors. The deck and back yard are very safe for young children.

Short walk to beach with a large deck and fenced-in yard

The house is roomy and clean. Great outdoor shower and deck and fenced in backyard which was great for the young kids. We also enjoyed playing corn hole.

A short walk to the best beach ever!

This lovely property worked very well for all of us. There was me, my husband, my daughter, my son-in-law and three grandchildren. We loved the large deck and the outdoor shower was really great, especially for the children. Didn't have to bring all the sand into the house.

Magical beach week!

The home is a perfect beach-themed, beautifully appointed getaway in a great location! The brief walk to two amazing beaches as well as a quick ride to both Rockport & downtown Gloucester are such a benefit to a relaxing, no stress beach vacation. We absolutely all enjoyed our stay immensely!!

Halloween in Massachusetts

The house was as pictured. Clean, warm, cozy. We enjoyed our stay and were happy to come back to a nice warm house since it was sooo chilly outside. The kids enjoyed the space and we did indoor trick or treating with them, we were supposed to be at Disney for Halloween this year but covid had other plans for us. We are happy we were able to spend it in this lovely home and hope to return in warmer weather to enjoy the wonderful back porch! Thank you!

October Stay

Chris and Maureen have a beautiful home that far exceeds expectation. The house is comfortable and is set in a location that allows for privacy. Only a few moments from a GORGEOUS public beach and a short drive into Rockport and Salem! Chris and Maureen were so kind and pleasant to work with and we look forward to booking again!

Weekend getaway

The owner was prompt to respond to any questions. Clean and comfortable home. I was glad I had read a review reporting the home is on a road with no sidewalks ( not mentioned in description) so I wasn’t super surprised by this fact. Despite this, the traffic did not cause any sleeping issues for anyone. We did walk to the beach and it was not far, but there is not much of an easement either. Luckily, not too much traffic to deal with.

Beautiful beach house between 2 beaches!

This house is incredibly clean and beautiful. It’s well maintained with beautiful landscaping on a small lot. Every space is well used. There was ample parking and situated on a busy road, but it was a less than a five minute walk before you turned off toward either beach. Not an issue for adults. The beaches were amazing and the house was a short drive to Gloucester and Rockport restaurants and shops. Loved it!!

Fabulous in every way!!

We had a fantastic time on our much needed vacation!! The location can't be beat!! The home is spacious and comfortable with a well equipt kitchen for cooking along with a private patio with Adirondack chairs and two picnic tables!! Perfect for dining alfresco or taking in the stars at night. A perfect sized backyard which is all fenced in where our 2 year old granddaughter enjoyed playing!! We loved this terrific home and look forward to making this our home away from home for years to come!! It was hard to leave. Thank you Maureen and Chris for opening your wonderful home to us!! It sure is a special place.

Gloucester vacation

The rental house was perfect for our family . It would have been nice to be there in July or earlier in August when the “beach weather” was at it’s height.

Lovely place

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is as pictured, nicely renovated and clean. We loved the back yard for eating outside and the outdoor shower was nice after the beach. Communication with the host was great - she followed up on check in day to make sure we got in okay, and was responsive when we had a minor issue with the garbage just before checking out. It was nice being close to Good Harbor beach, which is great for families and not too crowded! It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach, however the listing did not clearly describe that the house is actually located on a small highway with no sidewalk. It really isn't very safe to walk on and you do have to walk for about 3 minutes along the highway to get to a side street to access the beach. We had a toddler with us so we had someone drive everyone over to the beach and then drive back to the house to park the car, then do the walk back alone. I wanted to mention this so other families know what to expect. This was our only complaint, otherwise the location was very good and the house was really nice!

Terrific location

The house looks even better in person than it does in the photos. The outdoor shower and back garden are lovely. And it's an easy walk to Good Harbor, the best beach I've seen on Cape Ann. Just one caveat: there are steps leading up to it and between levels, so maybe not the best choice for those who have trouble climbing.
