Beautiful gated property situated on one fully, private landscaped acre with large driveway. The home is just minutes to downtown Carmel. It has 4 bedrooms (1 king, 3 Queens) and 2 full bathrooms, master bath has a built in steam shower, family room, kitchen, laundry, playroom, and dinning room with 5 HD televisions and high speed wifi. There are 3 guest computers for your use.

On the property you will find plenty to entertain both adults and children. Take your pick from bocce ball, ping pong, outdoor pool table, basketball court/ pickle ball court/sports court, in ground trampoline, teeter totter, golf simulator, play structure, large grass area for countless games and room to run! There is also a vegetable garden with seasonal vegetables, chicken coop with egg laying chickens, and fruit trees around the property.

There is an outdoor gazebo with a large hot tub and ample amount of area to sit outside and enjoy the outdoors with a gas fireplace, fire pit and outdoor TV. We just installed a new outdoor kitchen, with gas barbecue, griddle and large pizza oven for cooking! There is also a reverse osmosis water machines that will provide the best quality drinking water! The house is stocked with board games and much more to help you create memories to last a lifetime! Golf lovers will love the golf simulator in the garage!
The property will bring you all the comforts of home away from home! We completely respect your privacy while staying at our property but we do have cameras on the driveways to ensure your safety and protection for all.

***Our property is one of the only permitted, legal short term rentals in Carmel.

Perfect Trip for the Family!

We recently stayed here and we all had a fantastic time! This is truly a great place for the family with plenty to keep both the adults and children occupied. The hardest part was getting my girls out of the property! Briana was wonderful host and always quick to answer any questions or make recommendations. It was also awesome that she left toys for my 2 girls (2 and 5) so no need to pack the usual extra suitcase of activities. I would recommend this property to everyone and we will definitely be requesting to stay again. Thanks for everything Briana! Jasen

Wonderful property....absolutely beautiful!

It is often hard to find a rental that is not only beautiful and pristine but also family friendly. The owners of Rancho Rio Vista have figured it out! From the moment we pulled up the kids and the adults had smiles on their faces. The kids had a trampoline, basketball court, ping pong, swings, playground and even a chicken coop to entertain them. The adults could relax and enjoy the gorgeous grounds while sitting next to the fire pit or soaking in the hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked and the home is beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back!

AMAZING!!!!

We were so fortunate to have been able to stay at this property. I have a 3 1/2 year old and a 10 year old and this was the perfect getaway for our family. Both children had plenty of things to do and I felt comfortable leaving them to play outside on their own. The property is gated, very safe, and it's location is perfect. The house was spotless and the kitchen stocked with everything needed to create yummy home cooked meals. Briana, the owner, was available to answer any questions at all times. She also made available so many fun, age appropriate toys for both of my children, which was so thoughtful. Can't wait to go back!!!!

Fabulous Getaway!

I would agree with another reviewer who wanted to give 6 stars (out of 5) because everything was really wonderful. The host is amazing. She was so responsive to my many, many questions and requests, and made sure our stay was perfect. The house and grounds are just as fabulous as advertised. We had two young grandkids and a group of adults (including grandparents). Even though we tried out the pickleball court, the batting cage, the putting green, the golf simulator, the pizza oven, the trampoline (many, many times), the playhouse, the ping pong table, the piano and the fresh eggs from the chicken coop, we weren't able to get around to the rest of the games and activities. There was something for everyone, including just relaxing and catching up with one another. We followed the host's advice on restaurant choices and took the kids to Earthbound Farmstand. We also took the grandkids to the tidepools at nearby Point Lobos state park. Despite their initial reluctance to leave the house (forever known as the trampoline house), they loved it.

40th Anniversary Celebration at Rancho Rio Vista

The property and Briana were fantastic. There were so many amenities inside and outside the home. The house was fully stocked with cooking gear and linens, the beds were top of the line, huge televisions in each room and a coffee system that was out of this world. But the greatest asset to our family at this property was the backyard. Live chickens, basketball court with a hoop that could go from 5-10 feet so the children could play. Tennis net on wheels if you wanted to play, soccer field with a goal at each end, in-ground trampoline, teather ball, 2 story fort with slides and teeter-totter, toys and sporting accessories galore. The adults almost had as much fun playin with all of this as our grandchildren did. We will be looking forward to another week here. And working with Briana from start to finish was a breeze. She was so very helpful it was icing on the cake.

Amazing Family Vacation!

My wife, three small children and I spent 7 nights at the house. The house was well organized, clean, spacious and offered every amenity we could have hoped for; the backyard was truly a wonderland! We also spent a lot of time in Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey and Pacific Grove and the house's proximity to all these towns, as well as Monterey Airport, was incredibly convenient.

Vacation paradise

The inside and outside are gorgeous! Outside, our family enjoyed everything from basketball, ping pong, trampoline, playground, soccer, hot tub, chicken coop and now golf hitting area, whew! Never a dull moment. The house is absolutely wonderful inside. The owners take immense pride and it shows!

Great Stay

Property was amazing- especially for kids of all ages! All our grandkids wanted to do was come over and play outside on all the wonderful equipment! And they loved collecting fresh eggs! Fantastic Getaway with a resort like back yard

Our family of 4 (with two 8 year old boys) had a wonderful stay here. The house is very nice and the backyard is a dream for two active boys - they loved the sport court, soccer field, etc. The location is great and easily accessible to Carmel Valley, Pebble Beach and Monterey. The owners were very delightful and easy and to deal with. We would definitely stay again and recommend without hesitation.

My three girls (6,9,11) had an absolute blast. The backyard is basically circuit training for child-athletes. It is far enough removed from downtown Carmel where it is peaceful, but close enough where a 5m drive has you to the beach. Really a unique find. Appears to be an ongoing project inside - some parts of the house are dated, but it didn't bother us as we were outside 95% of the time. Backyard has a batting cage, hoops, tennis court, bocci ball, mini soccer field, trampoline, tether-ball, ping pong (bring your own balls), pool, zip-line, play structure, bbq, hot tub and firepit.

The property was amazing. The backyard is a kidsā€™ sports haven. Everything you can imagine from a batting cage to a zip line and everything else the photos show.We had a few adult activities planned and never felt guilty leaving the kids at home to play. In fact, they wanted to play. It was clean and comfortable. The decor is very tasteful and the grounds are exquisite. The home owners were very accommodating and took extra steps to make sure our visit was the best it could be. I only hope we can make it back again.

Fabulous mini girlie vacay

We spent 5 days at this lovely home. The grounds are amazing. I took many photos so I can create similar features in my yard. I highly recommend this property, especially for families. The location is perfect. Close to downtown, shopping and restaurants. Briana made everything effortless.
