The Space:

This fully renovated Carmel home combines classic Carmel charm with modern updates and thoughtfully designed spaces for relaxing, gathering, and enjoying time together.



The home features comfortable indoor and outdoor living areas, with a covered patio offering beautiful mountain views, a dining area for 10, and a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with a grill, side burner, refrigerator, and ice maker. A 75-inch television provides the perfect setting for enjoying a game or movie outdoors, while a separate seating area offers a peaceful place to unwind and take in the views.



Inside, the gourmet kitchen features bar seating for five and is complemented by a separate dining room with comfortable seating for eight. Throughout the home, you’ll find cozy nooks and inviting spaces—both indoors and out—perfect for reading, enjoying a quiet cup of coffee, or simply taking a moment to relax.



For golfers, families, and kids, the property also offers a putting green, cornhole, and other lawn games. Three outdoor ceiling heaters provide added comfort for enjoying the patio on cool Carmel evenings.



To help preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the neighborhood, parties and gatherings of more than 10 people are NOT permitted. Please also be aware that Monterey County’s nighttime noise ordinance requires quiet hours from 9 PM to 7 AM. During these hours, guests are expected to keep noise at a respectful level consistent with the ordinance and the quiet residential character of the neighborhood.



All four bedrooms feature new mattresses, luxury linens, televisions, and strong high-speed Wi-Fi. Two bedrooms open directly onto a peaceful Zen garden, creating a tranquil retreat for morning coffee or tea and a relaxing spot to enjoy an evening glass of wine.



The living and dining areas showcase classic Carmel-style ceilings, hardwood floors, and a wood-burning fireplace that adds warmth and character. Guests staying in the primary suite can enjoy the soothing sound of the outdoor water fountain simply by opening the windows.



We love welcoming well-behaved furry family members! Please contact us before booking for pet approval. A pet fee applies, and most stays are limited to one dog unless otherwise approved.



Cameras & Noise Monitoring

For the safety and protection of the property, exterior security cameras are located at:

We also use exterior noise-monitoring devices. These devices do not record conversations or sounds. They monitor noise levels and may alert us if there is excessive barking or unusually loud activity.



We follow Monterey County’s nighttime noise ordinance, which requires quiet hours from 9 PM to 7 AM.



During those nighttime hours, a sound can qualify as loud and unreasonable if it is:



Plainly audible at 50 feet or more from the source; or



The ordinance establishes nighttime standards of:



45 dBA Leq — hourly equivalent sound level

65 dBA maximum — maximum sound level

We provide a decibel reader i located on the porch with a digital display, so you can clearly see what your decibel reading is.



Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire home and outdoor living spaces, with the exception of the owner’s closet located in the garage.



Maximum of 4 vehicles are permitted on the property. Additional vehicles require prior approval. Street parking on N. Mesa Drive is not allowed



The Neighborhood:

Located just minutes from downtown Carmel, the home offers a peaceful residential setting while still being close to restaurants, shopping, beaches, golf courses, and wine tasting.



The neighborhood is primarily made up of full-time residents, creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere that feels tucked away while remaining conveniently located near everything Carmel has to offer.



Getting Around:

Downtown Carmel is just a quick 2-minute drive or approximately a 10–15 minute walk away. The entrance to Carmel Valley is also conveniently located about 2.5 miles from the home.



The property offers ample parking, including space large enough for two SUVs or a Sprinter van. A Tesla charger is also available in the garage for guest use.



We added this parking because there is no parking on N Mesa Drive.



Other Things to Note:

This house used to be my private residence and I would be happy to provide recommendations for restaurants, wineries, beaches, golf, hiking, shopping, and local favorites to help you make the most of your stay.



Whether you’re relaxing on the patio, practicing your putting, or enjoying the peaceful Carmel evenings by the fire pit, this home was designed to create a truly tranquil coastal getaway.



Interaction with Guests:

We self-manage the home to provide guests with a more personalized experience and quick communication throughout their stay. Guests will receive a private key code prior to arrival for easy self check-in, and we are always available by call or text to help with any questions, recommendations, or concerns.
