5 bedroom log cabin in the heart of the Black Hills located in Boulder Canyon 5 miles from Sturgis and 6 miles from Deadwood. Perfect in the winter for a family ski vacations (10 miles from 2 ski area's). Beautiful/ relaxing get away for all 4 seasons in the Black Hills. 4 acres, 5 bedrooms, wifi, full laundry room, pool table, bar, darts, grill, treadmill, and hot tub. Sleeps 10-12. 10 guest in rooms can sleep more on couches/ futon or air mattress. Access to ATV trails (Camp 5 trailhead) from the house. Plenty of room to park trailers.

Clean House, Beutiful Locations

This is a beautiful place to stay for large groups. It sits very close to the golf course and not too far from deadwood. I would recommend!!

Great place to stay!

The stay was great! The property owner checked in frequently and was available for questions. The place was clean and very inviting. Everything we needed was there! I would highly recommend - great for a large group like we had!

Very comfortable stay

Me and some friends stayed here late June 2020. It was a great place and met all of our needs. We really enjoyed it with nice deck and hot tub out back. Nice area to stay. We likely will come back here again. Thank you!!

Great getaway!

The property is beautiful and had a ton of stuff to keep our kids entertained! It was perfect for our quick trip to the Hills with friends. Plenty of room and host was easy to communicate with and quick to answer any questions we had.

The house was in a very nice location to be close to both Deadwood and Sturgis. Owner was in contact the whole time and responded very promptly with any questions I would have.

Nice house but not good as a rental.

We chose this area because it was centrally located for 6 friends to gather. I’m glad we had plenty of activities planned so we weren’t stuck in the house all week! We got there and the house was full of flies because the door was open. The house was not even close to clean. The checkout instructions ask guests to put towels and bedding near the washer and even start a load if possible. The washer was full of dirty towels when we arrived so I’m not sure how we could do that without doing the laundry from previous guests first. We couldn’t unpack suitcases and feel at home because all closets and drawers were full. The coffee maker and keurig needed to be cleaned before they could be used. The dishwasher was half full and even the dishes in the cupboards were dirty. Sorry to say but we will not rent this house again when we return to the area.

I am sorry you had a an unpleasant experience. I definitely should have communicated about the dishes and laundry. We had a turn over and our first unpleasant experinve with guest so it took a lot longer to clean then normal due to the destruction of property from the guest prior to you. Flies have been challenging more this year then any other over the past 12 years . Must be from all the moisture in June. This house is our primary house that my kids and I live in. We clean as much out as possible and leave items/ games for everyone to use. Most people that rent the house have kids and enjoy everything that is left because it feels like a home away from home. I would like to thank you for leaving the house clean and taking care of it while you were there. I am open to renters calling and letting me know if something is not done well and we will make sure it gets clean. Thank you

Great Location!

Great location! Except the dirt roads, but we were on motorcycles! Not a fan of all their belongings in the closets, drawers, cabinets etc but I have never stayed somewhere where the owners also live there when not renting. Beautiful cabin! Has everything you would need! Michelle, the owner was easy to communicate with!

Family Reunion

The location is perfect for short distance travel to Mount Rushmore, several beautiful hiking locations, and museums. We had a wide variety of ages. This property was awesome. The kids loved the trampolines, hot tub, and game room. The adults enjoyed the front and back decks. Having 3 bathrooms was great. Suggestions: a curtain or something for privacy between the master bedroom and bath, handrail for master tub, window air-conditioner in the living room and kitchen areas. We loved our time at this cabin!

Long Birthday weekend

We had a wonderful time hiking and enjoying the scenery. We played mini golf and after a day of hiking etc we totally enjoyed the hot tub and game room. It was perfect for us.

Awesome for a group!

7 of us stayed here for a bachelor party weekend. The owner was easy to contact. The cabin is incredible! The back patio and hot tub were. Perfect spot to end the night, and it was nice to be able to play a few rounds of pool waiting for the cab to come. The 7 of us had an amazing time!

Four Wheeler Trip

This was a very nice property with something for all ages. Very quiet and restful after a full day of riding the trails. Very responsive hostess and a great help to our group. We would highly recommend this if you are looking for easy trail access and great relaxation after your day of adventures!

Quiet and quaint

The cabin had plenty of room for our large party of 8. Great location, quick trip to Deadwood or Sturgis. Unfortunately the week we stayed was very hot and the cabin only has 3 window a/c’s in the upstairs bedrooms which do not cool it off in the main areas. When we arrived the cabin was clean except for the floor. Overall we found ways to stay cool and enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful home!

Property offers so many amenities and is in a great location. House was very clean and stocked with everything we could have needed! Excellent place to stay! Host is easy to get a hold of and very attentive to your needs! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Great property for our large family that met all needs!

Due to a cancellation, we stumbled onto this property and boy were we ever happy! Our large family enjoyed our 4-night stay immensely. The home is set-up great - a lot of indoor activities to keep the kids busy, plus the hot tub outdoors and trampoline, etc. Communication with Michelle was excellent in answering my many questions and texts. Kitchen is fully stocked with most anything one could need. Thank you very much! Location is very handy to where we wanted to visit. We would definitely rent this property again.

Awesome Accommodations!

A group of 8 stayed the week before the Sturgis Rally! The location was excellent, property was spacious and had everything we could want and more! Michelle was very responsive to our many questions. We would highly recommend this property.
