Le Roitelet - gite with pool

Git​es dans les Champs, situated in beautiful countryside in Poitou-Charentes, offers three spacious gites of a very high standard. The gites can be rented individually or as a group, sleeping up to 20.

Ideally located for walking, cycling, kayaking and horse riding.  With a fenced swimming pool and sun terrace, set in three acres of private parkland.  

Each gite also has access to Wi-Fi Internet, together with French TV and a selection of DVDs.

A relaxing environment to spend time with family and friends.

We are  a 5 minute drive to the local supermarket (SuperU) and boulangeries (or a short bike ride).  We have a selection of bikes available for guests use.

Le Roitelet, part of the original cottage, dating back to 1838, is a comfortable gite approached by its own garden path. A large kitchen and dining room, beamed with exposed stone walls, has been well-furnished, with a dining area seating up to 6 persons, and a modern fitted kitchen complete with washing-machine, fridge-freezer, microwave and gas cooker.

The beamed lounge offers comfortable seating and occasional furniture. The ground floor is tiled throughout. Stairs lead to a landing off which there is a double bedroom with king-sized bed, a twin-bedded room, and a fully tiled bathroom comprising walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. Original oak beams and attractive chestnut flooring give character to the bedrooms.

The gite offers full gas central heating, making it especially suitable for year-round rentals. An additional en-suite double bedroom may be available with this property.  French TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs are available for guests.  A cot and high chair are available upon request. 

Outside there is a garden with barbecue, tables and chairs for al fresco meals and a patio within the courtyard.
