We simply didn’t want to leave. What a lovely home, equipped with everything needed for a week’s stay atop a steep outlook with the most incredible views that go for miles. We are a family of 4 (I’m the grandmother) and we so enjoyed our time there. Local grocery shopping nearby, a bakery at the foot of the hill and boat rentals just below at the tiny Nissaki harbour. Plus we had 3 little kitties that came around for some water and food so we got quite fond of them. The steep road up to the villa with nine switchbacks and the driveway are not for the faint of heart but by the end of the week it became easier. For a view like that, you need to go up! Quiet, restful, and a fun reunion for us with my family from Oregon and me living in the UK. Made so many wonderful memories and miss our mornings and afternoons in the pool. Perfectly located for exploring the northeastern coast of Corfu. An hour or less from Kerkyra. Not enough superlatives to describe it. Thank you so much!

Großartige Aussicht

Die Villa ist optisch wirklich wunderschön und entspricht genau der Beschreibung – stilvoll eingerichtet und mit tollem Ausblick. Der Gesamteindruck war sehr positiv.Allerdings war die Sauberkeit bei Ankunft leider nur mittelmäßig, hier wäre etwas mehr Sorgfalt wünschenswert gewesen.Der Urlaub war insgesamt sehr schön und erholsam. Kleiner Hinweis: Die Poolheizung muss extra dazugebucht werden – das sollte im Vorfeld etwas deutlicher kommuniziert werden.Vielen Dank trotzdem für die schöne Zeit!Liebe Grüße

Traumhaus mit kleinen Schwächen

Wir, mein Mann und ich, haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in der Villa Pelagos verbracht. Das sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Haus bietet alles, was man sich wünscht. Auch die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Der Blick ist unbeschreiblich schön. Wir geben dem Objekt trotzdem nur 4 von 5 Punkten. Das liegt zum einen an der 6-minütigen Anfahrt, die wirklich abenteuerlich steil und schmal ist, an der nicht funktionierenden Klimaanlage und dem nicht funktionsfähigen TV-Gerät, dessen Betreuer Paul Roussos wir mehrfach angerufen haben, der aber entweder grad keine Zeit hatte oder uns nicht - wie vereinbart - zurückrief. Dazu kommen das etwas oberflächliche Putzen und die schlaflosen Nächte, die in permanentem Hundegebell begründet sind. Und wir sind als Großstädter wahrlich nächtliche Geräusche gewohnt. Man sollte wirklich den Tierschutz alarmieren, dass im rostrot gestrichenen Nachbarhaus zahlreiche große Hunde permanent in einem Zwinger gehalten werden und sich tags und nachts die Seele aus dem Leib bellen. Welch Sünde, dass man nachts bei geschlossenen Fenstern in einem Olivenhain nächtigen muss, um überhaupt in den Schlaf zu finden,

Thanks for your review, a little shocked to receive a 4* as we are so used to getting 5* reviews!! However we take on board your criticism and we will look to make an improvement where we can. So disappointed not to receive any call from you during your stay. We could have told you that the AC only works when all the windows and doors are closed and we could have rectified the TV issues immediately. Puzzled at the mention of the housekeeping service, Aneska who looks after Pelagos usually keeps the villa immaculate hence so many 5* reviews. The location of course doesn't suit everyone, but to enjoy those breathtaking views you do do need to be elevated! Never had any mention of dogs barking, the owners stay here regularly and haven't ever heard anything. We do though thank you very much for drawing these issues to our attention and we will for sure look to improve and assure our future guests of our absolute intention to detail.

Lovely villa with outstanding views.

This is the second time we have stayed here......Villa Pelagos is perched high on the hillside overlooking Nissaki Harbour with stunning views towards Corfu town and Albania to the left. The rooms are light and airy and the pool glints enticingly in the sun! We’ve had a lovely time.

A real gem of accommodation, location with superb views over the bay to Corfu Town and coastline. Very comfortable, with everything you want for an enjoyable and relaxing holiday on the beautiful island of Corfu. Tavernas, beaches and supermarket close by. A must return visit to Villa Pelagos. Next year !!

Beautiful villa with spectacular views

We had a wonderful holiday staying at this beautiful, new stylish villa nestled in the hills above Nisaki harbour. Stunning far reaching views looking across to Albania, Greece and Corfu town can be seen from all rooms and are really breathtaking. Pelagos is a comfortable, well equipped villa offering everything you need from a holiday home. Just 3 minutes drive down the hill we enjoyed visiting a choice of good restaurants, bars, and pizzeria, there is also a supermarket and pharmacy. It is in a great location for walking and for driving to the many lovely beaches, the well known Agni and Glyfa just 10 minutes away. Wonderful stay and hope to return soon.

Everything is better than on the photos ! Stunning view, calm, well decorated, modern and functional. Tout est mieux que sur les photos ! Vue incroyable, calme, maison bien décorée, moderne et fonctionnelle. Tips for other travellers You can rent a boat for 60 /80 € a day at Nissaki harbour and spend a very good day visiting the almost deserted beaches (in the north). Vous pouvez louer un bateau pour 60/80 € la journée dans le petit port de Nissaki et passer une superbe journée à visiter les plages presque désertes au nord. Submitted by Christophe Facon, France

Tips for other travellers You can rent a boat for 60 /80 € a day at Nissaki harbour and spend a very good day visiting the almost deserted beaches (in the north). Vous pouvez louer un bateau pour 60/80 € la journée dans le petit port de Nissaki et passer une superbe journée à visiter les plages presque désertes au nord.
