An ideal apartment! Comfortable beds, a quiet night's sleep and interesting location are priorities for us. Both the double and single beds were quite firm which suits us. The quietest apartment ever, overlooking a tree-filled garden. Central location but less touristy than many. On first floor, with lift, which we did not need to use. Our hosts, Laura and Gabrielle, went out of their way to be helpful and we are very grateful for their care.

My wife and I stayed 31 days in this charming apartment. Laura and Gabriele were great hosts and they gave us recommendations on places to eat and visit. The neighborhood near Santa Croce is less touristy, and the apartment is very quite.

A great value in Florence

We were very happy with the property. The neighborhood was quiet and yet had a lot of amenities. The property was in easy walking distance to most sites of interest in Florence. The property manager was very helpful to us.

Perfect apartment in the perfect location!

This apartment is in a perfect neighborhood, a close walk to whatever you could want or need. It's very quiet, comfortable and spacious. Laura, the owner is such a warm, attentive, and lovely woman. I will absolutely stay here again and encourage you to also!

Great apartment, location, & hosts

Sant’Ambrosio area still feels more like Italy, and less like an experiment in crowd control. The apartment is large and comfortable, and absolutely quiet. Main challenge is mastering locks and keys for 5 entryways. But worth it.

Great Location

Laura is a great host and very helpful. The apartment is as it shows in the listing. It is perfect for a couple wanting to explore the city from a central location. There are restaurants and shopping very close to the apartment.

Best in Florence

The apartment was absolutely wonderful and perfectly located for our 10 day stay. We could walk easily to all points of interest. The hosts were gracious, welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend this rental, especially for those staying a bit longer than a few days. We had a fabulous time and returning to the apartment for relaxation and the odd meal, I couldn’t have asked for more.

Travelling solo

Laura and Gabriele were excellent hosts, friendly and helpful. The apartment was perfect for a 4 week solo stay. The kitchen was well equipped and being able to open windows onto trees in a backyard was very attractive. It was an excellent location so easy walking to everything. Could not recommend the apartment or hosts enough.

A home away from home

My husband and I have stayed in many different apartments in Florence, and this was by far the nicest! It is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything one needs. It is super comfortable and quiet, in a wonderful location. Laura and her husband Gabriele are among the nicest people we've ever met. We already miss them and want to return.

This property and hosts are both phenomenal!!!

I loved everything about this property. Centrally located to all the tourist attractions. The elevator was a HUGE plus after the long day of walking and touring this lovely city. And Laura and her husband were just the sweetest. Very caring, kind and just beautiful people. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip. I give this place not 5 but 10 stars!!! It's a perfect 10!

Perfect location within walking distance to all the sights in Florence . Nice stocked kitchen , roomy apt Just perfect for our 6 night stay. We are retired couple and Miss Laura directed us to grocery store ,restaurants and called us a taxis when we left! Thank you !😎😎😎

Comfortable apartment in best neighborhood of Florence

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment. It is quiet, nicely furnished and well-equipped. The location is fantastic, central yet not clogged with tourists, a 3-minute walk from the Sant'Ambrogio market. The hosts, Laura and Gabriele, live upstairs. They are wonderful people, extraordinarily warm and helpful. We have become friends and hope to stay with them again in the future!

Very good location

The appartment is located in a nice area which is quite central. Both bedrooms are facing a fruit tree garden, that's why it is quite at night. At the same time it might be a problem for mosquitos sensible people. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bathroom is nice. Laura was very helpful and always available if I had a question. Thank you!

The best host ever!

Besides the fact that this property is very close to all the attractions and very well maintained, it also has a wonderful hostess Laura. She is very attentive, caring and fun to talk to. It was extremely cold time in Florence for April and i didn't have a warm jacket to feel comfortable. I was going to buy something, but Laura offered me two coats that literally saved me there. This apartment has everything you might need and definitely good for four people. Thank you, Laura for making our Firenze experience even better than expected!

It was like Staying with Family

Ms. Laura was an amazing person my husband had to travel by himself due to unfortunate sickness that i had and Laura had taken him under her wing and really made sure he was ok. I really appreciated that being he was so far from home. The apartment is in a great location and not to far from the grocery store. If you don't speak Italian someone will have to call you one or you can choose to walk everywhere but like i said Ms. Laura really took care of alot of things for him and i will make a trip to see her and stay there at her place so i can thank her in person. Great experience and Great location and most of all Great Hostess.

Our beat stay ever!

Laura and Gabrielle were the most wonderful couple. They took care of us like family, helped us with all our needs, and were so very kind. They gave us all the special places to eat and shop in their wonderful and safe neighborhood. They have lived here for 47 years and know everyone. Lots of restaurants, wine bars, outdoor eating, bakery, gelato, pizza, all within a short walk. Their apartment is so comfortable with every convenience. Kitchen is well equipped and air conditioning was very cool, which I like. There is a couch and several comfortable chairs and tables to dine at. The apartment is on the second floor but there is a lift you can use. We will seriously consider returning to Laura’s place again next season and staying longer. There is never enough time in Florence to immerse ourselves into the beautiful people and culture of this part of Italy.

A lovely gem in Florence

We had a wonderful 6 night stay at this property. Nicely located on the outskirts of the town square but a short 10-15 walk if you are seeking more action in the centrale area. Close walk to many lovely cafes and restaurant's as well as market for groceries. Property is very charming, clean & cozy in a quieter neighborhood with plenty of space for the two of us. It was particularly hot in Florence during our stay and the A/C worked very well for a restful sleep after walking around town viewing Florence all day. Garden views from the master bedroom and living area are very peaceful and pretty. Plenty of windows in unit to bring in natural sunlight and cool breezes. Building is very quiet as we did not hear street noise or any of the other residents during our stay. The host, Laura is a sweetheart and very kind. She was always available prior to check in to assist us with locating the property and meeting to check in and walk through the property. We very much felt at home and family as she shared information about the neighborhood and area. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here again should we make it to Florence.

Had a wonderful 3 week stay in this apartment near Piazza Ciompi. Bright and cheerful well equipped, nicely located, near markets, cafes and restaurants. Hosts Laura and husband Gabriel couldn’t be nicer. They made our vacation exceptional. Very responsive. The elevator is a great convenience. Highly recommended!
