This beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath mountain home located in the Aho area between Boone & Blowing Rock is a great place to relax and truly enjoy mountain living. A Peak of Heaven is just a mile or so from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 5 miles from downtown Blowing Rock.

As you enter A Peak of Heaven on the main floor you are captured by the beautiful living area with hardwood floors, stone gas log fireplace, large flat screen cable TV and the overall ambience of this home. There is a large wood and black iron dining room table and a full kitchen adjacent to the living room. This main floor also contains a bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom, a deck to take in the seasonal views and a "Big Green Egg" charcoal/wood grill for cooking out (BYOB of charcoal).

An exposed staircase takes you to the second floor where you find two additional bedrooms. In the loft area there is a daybed with a trundle and a TV. A king sized bed with a private bathroom and deck are included in the master suite along with a flat screen cable TV. There is another bedroom with a full bed and a full bathroom located upstairs.

If you go downstairs from the main floor you will find yourself in the large game room with a ping pong table, a card playing or puzzle table and chairs and a leather Sofa and chair. There is a large flat screen cable TV in the game room and an electronic dart game. There is much to do at A Peak of Heaven for every member of the family.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PARKING: There is only room for two (2) vehicles at this home. This home is accessed by a steep paved road and a steep paved driveway. Both are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are strongly recommended year-round and are required November-March and chains may also be necessary to access the property in winter months. Guests may not use the private driveway across the street to turn around, and parking in the street is not permitted ($100 fine if violations occur.)

- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

- This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs (dogs must be 15 pounds or less per dog) with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
