The Washington Square Carriage House is a free standing cottage with a private entrance on the lane/alley. It is located behind The Washington Square Main House and guests share the center/private courtyard & garage below.

During the horse-and-buggy days, Savannah’s carriage houses were the sleeping quarters of the family's carriage drivers. The drivers were responsible for the care of the horses & the carriages housed in what we now use as auto-garages.



This painstakingly restored & converted carriage house offers one highly coveted garage parking space and is located in Savannah’s Landmark Historic District on picturesque Washington Square. This home is only 2 blocks from Historic River Street & the Savannah River.



The apartment is located on the 2nd floor over the garage so there is a flight of stairs leading up to the home. The carriage house has an open living room and kitchen with island seating for 4.

The fully outfitted kitchen is equipped with all the essentials to whip up a meal.



Each of the 2 bedrooms have en suite bathrooms & queen size beds. The walled courtyard offers a quite oasis to sip a cocktail and chat with guests from the main house.



TVs:

We provide free WIFI but NO cable, so please bring your login info for your favorite apps! All TVs are new and updated with current apps.



PARKING:

This reservation includes ONE private, garage parking space under the apartment.

Parking for additional vehicles: This area has metered, on-street parking. The City of Savannah uses Meter Pay Stations on each block. You can download the APP "ParkSavannah" to pay meters from your phone

OR

Visitor Parking Passes are available for 24hours/$15.00 and 48hours/$24.00. Passes can be purchased at the City of Savannah Parking Services Office at 100 East Bryan Street.



NOISE:

This property is NOT PARTY friendly. We do not allow loud noise, music or parties of any sort. Violators may be evicted and/or fined.

NO BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE GROUPS!!



MAXIMUM OCCUPANY is 4 people at any/all times, including children/infants.



Guest must be 25 years old to reserve. No exceptions.



No smoking or pets.



Cancellations:

If you reserve & cancel AFTER we have processed the reservation, we will NOT refund the credit card processing fee. We use a 3rd party credit card processing company & they do NOT refund these fees to us if a guest cancels.

You will also be charged a $50 cancellation fee PLUS the credit card processing fee.

This is regardless of VRBO’s policy.
