The Secret Garden is an adorable private and fenced get away at the end of a remodeled cracker house perfect for just the right person ...Conveniently located just over the bridge to Siesta Key and within minutes to downtown Sarasota you can live like a local. Walk to Trader Joe’s . It’s a friendly little neighborhood. Stroll down the street and grab a stool at Walt's Tiki hut fish resturant a popular little gem. Call for a chat with the owner. Very convenient

Very nice

Property is very well done, very nice yard and patio area. It worked perfectly for us with our dogs. Sally was very gracious and accomadating. The only issue we had was it stayed a bit warm inside. We would highly recommend staying here!

Cool Spot, Great Host!!

We loved our stay in Sally’s super cute place! She is incredibly personable and helpful and offered suggestions on things to do and places to eat in the area as soon as we arrived. She was readily available anytime we had a question. The property was clean and Sally provided little extras that were nice such as bath products, coffee and chocolate treats... to name a few! Siesta Key and Lido Key beaches were an easy drive from this location. The bed was quite comfortable and we slept well our entire stay! We really appreciated the nice decor throughout and plush bath towels. It was also awesome to have a washer and dryer on site and detergent was provided which was especially nice! We thoroughly enjoyed the private patio as well. Sally was super accommodating and even allowed us to stay an additional 2 nights when we decided we just weren’t ready to leave!! We will definitely stay here again whenever we find ourselves back in Sarasota area!! Thanks Sally! xo Hana & Jarod

Nice visit

A small, but nice place to stay. It works for two people. The owner provided lots of nice things, plenty of dishes and appliances, lawn chairs, plenty of towels. It has been remodeled nicely. Apparently the other side of this house gets rented out also, and was very loud at night, being able to hear conversations through the wall between the bedroom and the other side’s kitchen area/microwave running, etc. The location is convenient if traveling to beach by car. It’s about half a block from a very busy street. While this didn’t cause any issues for us, it would’ve been less desirable for those wanting to rent/ride bikes. Overall a decent, but we’ve stayed at roomier locations nearby for less.

Sarasota Secret Garden

It is well located with great access to the best beach in the US and restaurants, and grocery store. The furniture was not elderly friendly, but propaply fine for folks under 75-80. Bed very comfortable. Appreciated the nice appliances, including washer and dryer.

Booking was easy, contacting with Sally was very good. Quiet neighborhood in a very good location, great parking space. Comfortable Clean space. I was working in Sarasota so not much time to sight see. I was glad my little chihuahua was allowed to join me, although she cannot walk far anymore she had a safe place in an enclosed courtyard.

Delightful in all ways!

As all the 5 stars indicate, I could not be happier with a STR! Anything one might need for even a longer stay was available. The security was outstanding which also provided great privacy. Thank you Sally and Caitlyn! I hope to be back in late 2020 or early 2012--when do you start taking applications?

Great apartment in really good location.

This is a really lovely little apartment.Larger than I was expecting and pleasant outside space.It has everything that you need for a perfect stay (and the host is great).

We had a wonderful experience and all the extra little amenities from Sally was a plus. The only thing my husband said was the air conditioner was kind of loud and noisy. But other than that, all was great...thank you.

The Amazing garden hideaway!

This place was absolutely amazing! My fiancé , two year old son , and myself stayed for a week here in this garden home. Less than a five minute drive to turtle beach , and siesta key. I couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay on vacation and sally was wonderful as well and alert to all of our questions and so very kind! I’ll definitely be coming back next year. (:

Very cute and convenient place to stay

The unit was nicely appointed - perfect for our stay (my wife and I). It is so conveniently located to Siesta Key beach, St Armands Circle and downtown Sarasota. Sally was great to work with and included coffee and cookies in our stay !

Great pet friendly efficiency unit

We stayed 3 nights in Sally’s 1-bedroom Garden suite and had a great long weekend. The unit is small, as described, but was a clean, safe place to stay with our pup. The location was fantastic - less than 15 min to Siesta Key Beach & 40 min to Manasota Beach. The neighborhood was quiet despite being close to Tamiami Tr. It was a very short walk to Walt’s Fish Market. Sally was responsive with any inquiries we had and the fenced in yard was great for letting the dog out quickly in the morning/night. We will definitely be back!

Sarasota trip

Enjoyed our stay very much. Got to see Ringling Museum and the Marietta Museum, very close to the rental. Our hostess Sally Quist provided us with a great place to stay. Very clean and had everything we needed for us and our pup, who enjoyed playing in the fenced outside area. Very close to shopping center, restaurants . Also visited Trader Joe's just down the street. Next trip to Sarasota, will be sure to stay at Sally's place again.

Great Place

Sally's Garden Suite is a great place for two people as a base to explore the Sarasota area. The suite is efficient and well equipped. There is a private patio off the kitchen that is perfect for taking breakfast outside. If you have a dog, the yard off the front door is completely fenced so you can open the door and let doggo out to get some air. Also, there is a Trader Joes grocery store a short walk away so you can step out to get what every you may need. We were fully satisfied with our stay.

Realy nice place to stay

This is a great place to stay. The hostess Sally is great and the place was very clean. There were lots of amenities for cooking, washer and dryer for your stuff and a bbq.The unit is fenced off for great privacy.The location is a short walk from Tamiami way and close to several resturants as well as Trader Joe a nice grocery store.

Wonderful Vacation

This year was our second stay at The Secret Garden and was just as wonderful as the first. Sally is so sweet and the most accommodating hostess. The place is so comfortable and spotless with everything you would need to make for a pleasant visit. We love the location - so close to Siesta Key Beach, many restaurants and Trader Joe's. A truly special place.

Clean & pleasant unit. Quiet & convenient location. Owner was very flexible about late arrival..

This place worked so well for our visit to Sarasota. It was very nice and restful at the end of a busy day. Bed is comfy. All the amenities to cook in and hang out. We were a short walk to Trader Joes and lots of eateries and stores. I would advise renting a car, but there is a bus on the main Street . Sally was available and obliging.
