Fabulous ground floor apartment with 2 beds, 2 bathrooms, private terrace and two swimming pools. 'No. 5' is situated in the Monte Dourado hillside resort in central Carvoeiro, within easy reach of all the restaurants and bars that the village has to offer and European Best Beach 2018 (https://tinyurl.com/ydevaaab). The apartment is in excellent condition and has been updated to a very high spec including air conditioning in the living room and both bedrooms. The master bedroom features a super king size bed and en suite, and the second bedroom has two single beds and separate shower room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer, coffee machine, toaster and juicer, ensuring it is perfectly set up for families and couples looking for a home from home. The large living/dining room has comfortable seating, dining table and chairs, flat screen TV (vast range of channels) and log burning stove for the cooler months. French doors lead off the living room onto a sunny terrace with table and chairs and views over the two pools (one of which is 0.9m for smaller swimmers). The pools are shared between only twelve apartments (the 'Buganvilia' block) and guests also have access to four other pools on the Monte Dourado complex, one of which is heated in Winter. Tennis courts are also found beside the apartments.

A car is not required as there are easily accessible local buses and taxi services but there is plenty of on-road parking close to the apartment all year round if preferred. Two mini-markets are less than a five minute walk away and the local market with fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables is open every morning except Sunday (two minutes away). There are lots of places to visit including Ferragudo, Portimao (accessible by water taxi and road), Alvor, Silves, local attractions, Slide and Splash and Zoomarine, as well as Golf courses Vale de Milho, Quinta do Gramacho and Vale de Pinta.

Since 1st May 2024, a tourist tax is now payable for all guests 13 years of age or older. It is €2 per person, per night, to a maximum of 7 nights and is payable via PayPal before your arrival. High chairs, cots and folding beds are available for rental on request (folding bed required if more than four guests) . Electricity is charged for Winter bookings from November through to the end of April. Discounts up to 30% on Winter bookings of longer than one month are available.
