Be careful - so many problems...
The apartment is comfortable, spacious and clear. Perfectly located. We, myself and wife, stayed for a full week in March 2013. But many annoyances happened, that should be reported:
- Although the prepayment (obligatory) for the "welcome service" intended to the arrival, and despite the previous confirmed scheduled time for the meeting at the Rialto Bridge, there was no one waiting for us. The unfortunate and undue delay overcame 35 min. We were very upset during the period.
- The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (top floor) of a building, from the ground floor. There are 47 tall steps, very tiring to climb. If I had known in advance, I would have not chosen this apartment, because tourists go up and down many times a day. The owner just mention second floor in his advertisement, as if there exist just one set of stairway to go up.
- The wifi was not working when we arrived, the same way the microwave and the TV – the total repair of both items took place in 24 hours.
- Still for the wifi, although listed in the advertisement as part of the apartment, was later on, eleven days prior to our arrival, offered by email for an additional 25 euros, which I had to accept, for it was essential for us.
- Due to electrical troubles in the old building, there were total lack of lighting in the stairway for three sequential nights, out of seven. Full darkness. Those nights we could'nt go out for dining in restaurants.
Due to all these annoyances reported, I asked the owner a discount on the total rent, and I was offered 25 euros one week after departure.
We became aware later that all services for customer assistance are provided by a local travel agency. Perhaps this is why the lowest zeal in all respects.
Finally, I do not recommend the apartment.
