Beautiful Wooden Lodge Set In Olive Grove With Shared Pool.Close To Amenities

The light and airy detached accommodation sleeps 2-5 consists of 2 Bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, 1 Double and 2 singles. A 5th small person or child can be put up on a fold away bed and is an additional nightly charge.
With ceiling fans and ample storage.
Large open plan lounge with 2 sofas, UK Satellite TV,Portuguese TV Meo, DVD, Playstation2 and a large Book and DVD library.
New!! Pellet burner for the winter evenings. 1 bag of Pellets per week included in the rental price. More at an additional cost.
The Fully fitted Kitchen includes Fridge/Freezer, Table and chairs for four, coffee machine, Toaster and everything you would need for your self-catering Holiday.
There is one bathroom located in the House with a large walk-in shower, hand basin and Toilet. Bath towels are provided but only for use within the property. Additional pool towels are also available which can be used for the Beach.
Private sun terrace and veranda with outside dining.
Also, outside there is an additional Toilet and Shower block for your convenience.
The owners, Tania and Steve, live on site with their 1 dog - whilst being on hand to advise and help with your holiday and any requirements - they respect your time and space ensuring you enjoy your holiday 100%

Great place for your holiday whether it is a peaceful relaxing time just lounging by the pool, or discovering the historic Templar Towns and countryside within this diverse area. The old rural way of life can still be seen and the Portuguese friendliness is second to none.
The University city of Coimbra on the river Mondego is close by as are the Templar Town of Tomar and the Pilgrim Town of Fatima, to name but a few.
Set in 1.5 acres of old Olive Orchard currently being restored for future harvesting.
Surrounded by tranquil Pine and Eucalyptus woods ideal for nature walks and Bird watching. Ein richtig tolles Ferienhaus, in dem man sich vom ersten Moment an wohlfühlt, Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt und einladend, perfekt zum Abschalten. Auch die ruhige Lage war ideal für ein paar entspannte Tage. Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit und kommen definitiv wieder!

The cabin was well equipped and set in beautiful grounds...it was an absolute haven. Tania was fantastic, helping us book a vineyard tour and meals out. The local area has some incredible beauty spots too. What a stay!

Sehr freundliche Vermieterin, ruhig gelegenes Haus bietet Erholung pur. Wunderschöner Garten und toller Pool. Eher dünn besiedelte Gegend, was uns gut gefiel. Ein Auto ist notwendig. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und hat in jedem Raum ein Fenster mit Mückenschutz.

Best place

We had an amazing time in Tãnia's house. Our holidays started with problems with our rental car and Tãnia helped us sorting it out. We arrived quite late and tired and found a clean and warm house and even a welcoming pack with bread, wine, milk and few other bits and bobs. The house is very well equipped and comfortable and Tãnia is always helpful. It's in a very quiet area but yet very close to facilities. We are coming back for sure. Actually, I think I'll try to move in!

A wonderful and quit place in the center of Portugal

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt . Das Haus war perfekt vorbereitet und selbst der Mühlschrank war mit Lebensmitteln für den ersten Abend und das Frühstück gefüllt. Tania Sullivan war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich und hat unseren Aufenthalt mit guten Empfehlungen und Ihrer Unterstützung sehr angenehm gestaltet. Wir können das Ferienhaus sehr empfehlen.

Liebe Tania lieber Steve, vielen lieben Dank das wir bei Euch 14 Tage wohnen durften! Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Tania empfangen! Ein Korb mit Wein selbstgemachter Marmelade Chips ,Brötchen, Kirschen,Wasser,Saft und noch viel mehr! Da die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten recht nah sind konnten wir auch noch paar Kleinigkeiten besorgen. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und wenn noch etwas fehlen sollte einfach Tania ansprechen ! Es gibt ganz viele Prospekte für Ausflüge in Portugal oder man kann einfach Tania fragen die gibt auch ganz viele Tipps über Veranstaltungen im Umkreis oder Restaurants! Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen man hört den ganzen Tag das zwitschern der Vögel reine Natur wunderschön! Ein schöner Pool sorgt für Erfrischung. Liegestühle zur Entspannung und einen Grill gibt es auch. Man kann draußen schön sitzen ein großer Tisch mit Bank und Stühlen. Die Dörfer sind sehr schön und man kann viel unternehmen . Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit bei Euch uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Liebe Grüße aus Köln Uli und Mirjam

Beautiful Rural Retreat

Well furnished and equipped, set in the heart of rural Portugal. A peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. There is so much to see and do provided you are happy to drive everywhere. Fortunately the road network is amazing and incredibly quiet. We would have loved some bikes to use on the quiet local roads and explore the local area a little more. I think for us we were too far from the coast but that was a choice we made. There are river beaches locally. Tania was amazing; she went out of her way to get maps tor walking and nothing was too much trouble. Most helpful host ever!

Wohlfühldomizil bei netten Menschen

Wie haben uns in dem hübschen, gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Bei der Ankunft nach einem langen Reisetag erwartete uns Tania, die herzliche und immer hilfsbereite Vermieterin,sowie ein leckeres Picknickkörbchen. Später konnte man sich im nahegelegenen Ansiao mit allem Nötigen versorgen. In der Unterkunft war an alles gedacht, die Einrichtung neuwertig und in sehr gutem Zustand. Auf der überdachten Terrasse konnten wir mit Blick in den großen Garten essen (nur an Regentagen nicht - für den Fall könnte der Essplatz im Haus etwas größer sein). Überall in der Umgebung konnte man schöne Ausflüge unternehmen (viele Tipps in Tanias Sammelmappe) und interessante Orte entdecken. Leider war das Wetter im Mai noch nicht allzu warm, so dass wir den schönen Pool nicht nutzen konnten. Aber an den wirklich kühlen Tagen sorgte der Holzofen schnell für angenehme Wärme. Insgesamt hat uns der erste Urlaub in Portugal sehr gut gefallen und die Lodge kann man wirklich nur empfehlen.

Tania est Super sympa et le gîte formidable à tout poins de vue, propre bien agencé et Super bien placé pour la tranquillité et le calme parfait pour se ressourcer et en plus piscine pour nous impeccable nous le conseillons vivement. Un peu éloigné de tout mais on ne peu pas tout avoir nous avons fini notre sejour a albufeira mais au niveau bruit il y a ce qu'il faut. Mille bises à Tania 🦉🦉🦉😊😍😘

Een prachtig plekje midden in de natuur

Het huisje in Ansiao heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Het is ruim, sfeervol ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Dichtbij vind je voorzieningen als een supermarkt, restaurant, benzinestation en bank. En volop leuke uitstapjes te maken in de omgeving. We hebben met ons gezin een heerlijke week gehad!

Jederzeit wieder!

Unser Urlaub im Casa de Olivial war wunderschön. Das Haus ist gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet und alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es liegt umgeben von Olivenbäumen. Im Garten gibt es viele alte Olivenbäume und um die Terrasse herum sind schöne Beete angelegt. Bequeme Gartenmöbel sind vorhanden und auch Badetücher gibt es genug. Trotz später Ankunft wurden wir herzlich von Tanja empfangen und sie hatte uns ein Willkommenspaket zusammengestellt, in dem es wirklich an nichts fehlte. Es gab Brot, Käse, Obst, Tomaten, Wurst und Marmelade. Bier und ein leckerer Weißwein, sowie Wasser und Orangensaft und Milch waren ebenfalls im Kühlschrank. Auch für Kaffee und Tee war gesorgt. So konnte unser Urlaub direkt sehr entspannt beginnen. Nach einer Woche gab es frische Handtücher und die Betten wurden frisch bezogen. Das Haus liegt sehr schön ruhig und abseits einer Stadt, aber man ist sehr schnell in den nächsten Orten, wo es alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt. Auch von Tanja haben wir noch einige tolle Ausflugstipps bekommen. Vor allem die Märkte in den umliegenden Orten sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen. Von der Atmosphäre dort mal abgesehen, kann man Obst, Gemüse, Fisch und Käse nicht frischer bekommen. Egal wo wir waren, die Menschen waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wer Sightseeing mag, kommt voll auf seine Kosten, aber auch Strände sind in erreichbarer Nähe. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder!

Perfect central location

A very spacious comfortable lodge with all needed amenities, it was very clean and well maintained and even had a welcome hamper with essentials including a nice bottle of wine. There is a log burner in the lounge which was really nice in the evening when it was a little chilly. Tania and Steve were very friendly and helpful and even helped us with places to visit. There is a beautiful swimming pool but it was a bit too cool for use in February. The central location was ideal for visiting local historic towns like Coimbra and Tomar and some great places to eat locally. I would definitely recommend family and friends to stay here and will certainly be returning myself.

Urlaub in der Natur

Liebe Tania, Lieber Steve, Euer Holzhaus ist ein Traum. Urlaub in der Natur, und doch so zentral, dass alles nah ist. Seien es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten oder auch Sehenswürdigkeiten. Super schöner Urlaub

Wir waren super begeistert, dass Haus ein Traum und vorallem sehr sauber, so fängt der Urlaub gleich richtig an. Tania und Steve waren super nett hatten bei der Ankunft schon Brötchen und Törtchen bereitgestellt. Vorallem war schon kaltes Bier im Kühlschrank. Der Pool war sehr sehr gepflegt und sauber. Un petit coin de paradis

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Tania est une personne accueillante, généreuse et de bon conseil. La maison a été pensé pour votre confort. La piscine est géniale, les enfants ne se sont pas ennuyés. Piscine, baby foot, jeux de société... Un book d'accueil avec toutes les brochures des activités à proximité. Très beau chalet, joliment décoré, très bien entretenu et entièrement équipé pour passer de bonnes vacances : baby foot, barbecue, four à pain / pizza, terrasse couverte, cage de foot Belle et grande piscine avec prêt d 'équipements (transats, grosses bouées et cage de foot sur l'eau) Terrain magnifique : arbres, fleurs et palmiers Tania et Steve ont été des hôtes exemplaires : attentionnés, discrets et très souriants Linge de maison, serviettes de piscine et de plage fournis et changés 1 X par semaine Panier garni et frigo pré rempli à notre arrivée ! Fabulous place, fabulous hots

Just got back from a fantastic stay in Casa de Olival. Missing it already. The house is a lovely location, so peaceful. It is a very well equipped and clean house. The kids loved the pool and we loved the owners, Steve and Tania. They are so accommodating and friendly people. Nothing is too much trouble. Steve lit the wood oven one day and helped us cook our homemade pizzas. The dogs are lovely too. A car is essential here to get to the house, local shops and bars but it is in an ideal location to explore lovely Central Portugal. The house also comes equipped with TV, Wifi and DVD player. Ideal if weather not too good. There are also some lovely walks around the area and you will find plenty of ideas about what to do in the handy resource book and pamphlets kept in the house. Their Facebook page also has some really useful tips. Thank you so much for a lovely time.

Très agréable location... chalet tout neuf, bien équipé... cuisine et salle de bain fonctionnelles, chambres impeccables avec moustiquaire, draps et linge de toilette fournis... tout pour la détente : bain de soleil, baby foot, piscine... et grand calme... sans oublier la propriétaire très sympathique et toujours à l'écoute ayant laissé un petit panier d'accueil avec pain, gateaux et vin portugais... que du bonheur... nous recommandons cette location à tout le monde... nous en garderons un très bon souvenir....

Amazing!!! Rebooked August 2014

We stayed at here in August 2013. After having a special holiday in Florida the year before with our 13 year old twin boys my husband and I wondered if we would be able to match such a good time. We need not of worried as we all had the most amazing time. The boys loved it as did my husband as we discovered the prices in the restaurants and supermarkets very reasonable. It is set in beautiful peaceful surroundings but within easy reach of fabulous beaches (about 40 mins by car) and closer we visited picturesque country river beaches. Not only does it have the perfect setting for a great get away from it all holiday but extras like the pool, football nets, football table, games, books and ps2 make it truely a home from home. A brilliant place for close family fun we have some lovely memories of our time there. Tania and Steve are the perfect hosts with lots of information and always on hand to ask any questions. We had a fabulous pizza oven night and lots of tasty barbeques. Oh and we have to mention the adorable dogs who added character to this delightful place. We had only been home a couple of weeks and we all agreed we just had to return. Can't wait for next August!

Fantastic accommodation in great location

We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it ~ the House was spacious, clean and well equipped ~ the outside BBQ was a definite hit with us all. The gardens and pool were a lovely haven after a day sightseeing or at the river beaches. Tania and Steve were great hosts and very helpful with loads of info of where to go for day trips and recommending great places to eat. The surrounding area of Portugal was so beautiful and could not believe the scenery. Took in a local Festa as well which was great fun. We cannot wait to return with or without the Kids !!!

A lovely place for a family holiday.

We had a great family holiday. The accomodation is spotlessly clean, is comfortable and very well equipped. There is plenty for children on site, such as the pool, table football and playstation. The owners Tania and Steve are welcoming, helpful and keen to offer ideas for days out. There is much to do in the area. We loved the river beaches and there are fantastic beaches on the coast within an hours drive. We can also highly recommend 'the dinosaur footprints'. The children especially enjoyed the high ropes course in Coimbra. We ate very well, some of the best places we found were local to the acconodation.

After taking early retirement took to travelling round Europe in a motor home eventually deciding to settle in Portugal. We loved not just the climate but the stunning and diverse countryside, and cannot put in adequate words how friendly, genuine and welcoming the Portuguese people have been.

We chose this area primarily as Tania's mother lives here, but after visiting realised how unspoilt and beautiful the area is ~ having travelled extensively and owning holiday accommodation in Spain for 7 years we appreciate the non commercial and rural aspect of life here.

Love the tranquil and beauty of this area without being far from a lovely Town with good facilities, also not far from cosmopolitan Cities when the fancy takes us. The balance here is perfect.
