Beautiful fully furnished Luxury Cabin on 3 plus acres, located 25-30 minutes north of Beavers Bend on the Upper Mountain Fork River in the Kiamichi Mountains. Come relax in the hot tub and enjoy the peace and quite this fully furnished cabin offers. Deer Run is a 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin with beautiful hand made aspen log beds. Bedroom # 1 offers a King Log bed, bedroom 2 & 3 both have beautiful Queen Log beds. Large living room with Satellite (Direct TV) and Blue Ray DVD Player with 100's of movies and surround sound. Upgraded Super Fast Fiber Optic Wifi (added January 2025) for those who must work remotely from the cabin or for streaming needs. Smart TV's for streaming your favorite apps in each bedroom. Utility room has full size Washer and Dryer. The Large back deck with River view is a great place to sit and listen to the river flow and watch the stars & wildlife. Smoker/Grill for those who wish to cook outdoors. Bring your marsh mellows and enjoy the fire pit under the stars. Fire wood is provided. Large front porch over looks a beautifully manicured property to relax and watch wildlife. Deer, foxes, squirrels, hummingbirds and a occasional black bear are home to the area. Private access to the Mountain fork river is just minutes away where you can enjoy fishing, swimming and kayaking. Kayaks, paddles and life vest are available during season, and are subject to unavailability during inclement weather, high or rising river levels and cold temperatures.

For off property entertainment, Deer Run is centrally located about 25-30 minutes from Hochatown where guests can find unlimited options and activities. Visit the Maze, Luxury putt putt, go carting, petting zoo, wineries, breweries, Lake Broken Bow, Beavers Bend State Park, horse back riding, restaurants, shopping, hiking, fishing and or even a trip to the brand new Choctaw Landing Casino, if you are feeling lucky!

Deer Run is also conveniently located only 25 miles from the Talimena Scenic Drive where guests can enjoy a beautiful drive along the Rich Mountains. Photography, hiking and a visit to Queen Wilhelmina State park are a must!

Loved the stay. Our family had the best time together. The adults got to relax and enjoy while our boys got to play and enjoy the outdoors. I donā€™t think the pictures do the place justice, itā€™s way more beautiful in person which was a nice surprise. 10/10 would book again.

Beautiful home, beautiful location, spacious. WiFi was great. Hot tub was wonderful. Itā€™s the perfect place to get away and have a blast. Very close to the river. You can tell this is a home that the owners truly care about and also use themselves. The landscaping is wonderful. I highly recommend this property. The only ā€œconā€ which is also a pro, is that itā€™s about 30 minutes drive north of hochatown. So make sure you prep your trip with that in mind. Absolutely worth it.

Our stay in this cabin was amazing. Loved that is close to the river, we flwent fishing, floated the river and took advantage of the kayaks provided. Grandkids had an amazing time and didnā€™t have to go anywhere else. Loved it!

A wonderful, easy to find luxury cabin. All amenities we needed (except there was no tea kettle but I just boiled water in a saucepan!). Very comfy beds and other furniture. The hot tub was so relaxing - we watched the sun go down from there every evening. Great, peaceful surroundings. Barking dogs nearby which were annoying but we could ignore them and they were far away enough that our dogs weren't upset. All in all a perfect experience

We are from Wylie Texas, have 2 children and one granddaughter. We love to get away and thought it was time to get our own cabin. Love the peace and quiet in the mountains. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but yet not too far away. We now live locally in Smithville, Oklahoma and are only a few minutes away if you need anything during your stay!

We love the outdoors and were looking for a place that would be quite, peaceful, and have mountain and river views. This area is absolutely beautiful and yet close enough for our guests to visit all that Beavers Bend has to offer without having to stay the night with all the crowds.

Deer Run is a Luxury built Cabin with all the amenities. A short 3.5 hour drive from North Dallas and you will find a piece of paradise. Rest, relax and make memories at this beautiful cabin. Enjoy the wildlife, the river, the firepit or just sitting in the unique hand made double rocker on the front porch. The large back deck is awesome! Great place for family gatherings!
