As you walk into the house from the beautifully landscaped front porch you will enter a foyer area with gorgeous woodworking and finely crafted trim with incredible detail. The 1 of 8 decorative fireplaces and built in seating provide a cozy area. To the right is the living room with a large smart TV. Wireless internet is available in the home as well.
Next is the large dining room with a great antique dining table with 8 chairs. In the room is a china hutch as well a built in alcove for sitting next to the large windows.
The kitchen features whitewashed cabinetry as well as a stainless steel stove. There are plans to replace all appliances with stainless steel.
Outside of the kitchen is the large screen-in porch with a cozy fenced in backyard area.
Go up either of the two staircases and find yourself on the second floor with three large bedroom and two bathrooms.
The master bedroom features its own bathroom with a two person Jacuzzi tub as well as a queen sized bed.
The other two rooms have very comfortable queen beds and many large windows.
On the third floor are two more smaller rooms. One with two twin beds and the other with a queen bed.
You will have access to the entire home, back yard, and curbside parking. There is a storage room in the basement that you will not have access to.
If you need any help or would like a recommendation on food or things to do feel free to ask. If you prefer to go about your business with minimal interaction that`s fine as well.

We are slowly doing renovations on the house, it may be nicer when you get there than the pictures show.
NO PARTIES
If guests are found to have had a party, which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for an extra cleaning charge of $500 and guests will be asked to vacate the property immediately without a refund. We enforce a No Party Policy to ensure we can protect the unit, our guests, and our neighbors at all times. No parties, loud disturbances, and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on these premises.
In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the unit without a refund. Registered guest(s) is responsible for all people visiting. Non-Registered visitors are only permitted until 10:00 P.M. If found with more “people” not listed on the Guest Registration after 10:00 P.M. your stay may be considered a party. You may be ordered to vacate the premises without a refund and maybe access Guest Compensation Disturbance Fee.
ACKNOWLEDGE
You are in someone’s PERSONAL home. You are not in a hotel. There will be some wear and tear in the home and items are replaced as soon as possible.
Please acknowledge that occasionally, we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests` discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables.
PLEASE NOTE
Children-friendly does not mean the area is child-proof. It is the responsibility of the guardian/parent to monitor their children`s actions AT ALL TIMES.
RESPECT OUR HOME AS IF IT WAS YOUR OWN
Food and drinks shall only be consumed in common areas such as the kitchen, dining room, and living room. Please do not bring food or drinks into the bedrooms.
PLEASE WASH YOUR DISHES after use.
DO NOT PUT A COFFEE POT IN THE DISHWASHER. PLEASE WASH BY HAND.
FURNITURE
Please do not re-arrange any of our interior furniture. Dragging any furniture around our hardwood floors will cause scratches and damages. There may be some normal wear and tear on furniture and it is replaced as soon as possible.
PLUMBING
Welcome to Louisville and to our HOME. Louisville is over 200 years old. Most of our homes are well over 100 years old and we do have delicate plumbing systems in this city. We kindly ask that you do not flush anything down our toilets except TOILET PAPER. If using make-up removal wipes, please do not flush these down the toilet. Do not flush feminine hygiene products. Use the garbage can provided next to the vanity. These items will clog the toilet and make it overflow. If a repairman has to be called you may be charged for damages.
100% SMOKE-FREE
This is a 100% NON-SMOKING Airbnb, including, but not limited to, cigarettes, cigars, pipes, vaping, and marijuana, including medical marijuana. Units are cleaned and inspected prior to check-in and a detailed log is maintained on each unit. Units are rented to guests in appropriate condition without any prohibited odor. Housekeeping and Hosting staff are trained and skilled in identifying the odors from prohibited items. If our investigation concludes that you have smoked in your unit or brought a prohibited item into our facility, you will be fined $500 and evicted without any refund.
Guests are encouraged to notify your host immediately if they smell cigarettes, marijuana, or other objectionable odors. This policy is not intended to stop people from smoking, but to regulate where they smoke and how it affects others. Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
CANDLE, INCENSE, ESSENTIAL OILS
Candle, incense, essential oils (diffusing, vaporizing, etc.) are prohibited. These items and activities will be treated as smoking, a fine accessed, and the guest may be evicted with no refunds.
NO GLITTER, CONFETTI, OR TACKING UP DECORATIONS TO OUR WALLS
We do understand that you may be celebrating a special occasion but these items are very hard to clean for the next guest and may cause damage to our walls and furniture.
DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF PROPERTY
You are liable for any damages caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the unit, the units, or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the unit during your stay. We reserve the right to request through AIRBNB, necessary amounts to compensate or make good the cost or expenses incurred or suffered by our property as a result of the aforesaid. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to request compensation up to the time when the next set of guests check-in. Including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, guest compensation, etc. We will make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to the contracting specialist making the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
We do ask that if damages occur while you stay with us.
1. Please take picture of the damages and send it to the host right away.
2. If it is something small such as a glass, soap dispenser, dish, etc… please do not throw it away. Please carefully set to the side, in a safe place, and notify the host.
3. If it is something we can replace easily or repair just inform us and don’t worry.
MAINTENANCE
You are in someone’s PERSONAL home. You are not in a hotel. There will be some wear and tear in the home and items are replaced as soon as possible.
We do our best to make sure everything is in working order for you during your stay. Please keep in mind that sometimes things just stop working and need to be repaired. Parts may have to be ordered and take time for us to receive. If you find that something is not working correctly, please notify your host as soon as possible. We will make every effort to make necessary repairs on a priority basis and as quickly as possible. If any member of our team needs to enter your unit during your stay, you will be notified by our host through AIRBNB communication, prior to any of our team members entering the unit. It is not our intent to bother you at any time during your stay.
The only time this may happen would be in an emergency case only. (ex. A burst pipe, gas smell, etc.)
EXTERMINATING
All of our units are under pest control/termite contracts. We have routine pest control in all of our units which include spraying, maintaining, and monitoring for all pests.
QUIET HOURS
Please remember you are in a mostly residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of anyone that may be staying in the unit next to you and our neighbors who have lived in this area for years. 10:00 P.M. to 9 A.M. If you become aware of a disruptive guest, please contact your host immediately through the AIRBNB communication. Televisions, voices, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly.
EARLY CHECK-IN
Early check-in is offered based on availability for an additional charge. If you require a guaranteed check-in for arrival prior to 4 p.m., you must have pre-approval from your host.
