Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your vacation did not meet your expectations. Regarding the golf cart, our rental agreement and welcome information clearly state that the cart is not permitted on roads with posted speed limits of 30 mph or higher. It is perfectly legal on our neighborhood side streets, as well as traveling to and from the beach. It is not legal within the city limits of Panama City Beach, but that is over 2 miles from our cottage and can only be reached be traveling on restricted roads. The golf cart was abandoned with depleted batteries almost eight miles from the cottage, so yes, we were concerned about getting it back before it got towed or stolen. When notified, we immediately focused on l determining the cart's location and condition. While we understand the inconvenience this situation caused, the cart's failure was the direct result of it being operated outside the guidelines provided to guests. For clarification, the golf cart is legal for use on approved local roads in accordance with Bay County law. It is not intended for unrestricted travel across town. It is a regular golf cart, not a registered and plated Low Speed Vehicle. As for the home's amenities, we provide a fully stocked kitchen with cookware and utensils, as well as a small starter amount of paper products, but guest have to provide their own consumables. We also maintain a professional pest-control service, which is common in coastal and warm-weather environments. Any concerns reported during a stay are taken seriously and addressed as quickly as possible. We appreciate all guest feedback and continuously work to provide a positive experience for our visitors.

We love to host families in our cottage. Unfortunately this guest booked for 5 but ended up bringing 12 and then invited a lot more people over for an event . Our cottage will only house a maximum of 8 guests comfortably and safely. There were at least 20 people on the premises at one time. Such a disappointment for us as hosts to have to deal with guests that are less than upfront with their intentions. I hope this guest is able to rent a place big enough for their needs and events. Our security cameras are clearly mentioned in the rental agreement and are trained on outside areas easily visible from the street. Our wonderful neighbors bring us many compliments and repeat guests.
