As a traveler, you'll appreciate the main cabin's thoughtful amenities, including free WIFI, a washing machine and dryer, 2 TVS and games for your entertainment. Perfect lake place

We had the perfect week at the lake. Sherry and Craig were amazing hosts! They shared great fishing location tips. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook at the property. The house is gorgeous and cozy and fun. The location on the lake is ideal. The hardest thing we had to do was leave. We can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and these hosts!

This is our 2nd stay and it was exceptional. The cabin is stocked with really nice amenities and we had everything we needed during our stay. We had 7 adults and it had plenty of room for us all to stay comfortably. We fished and swam every day. Ashley Lake is the most beautiful lake you've ever seen. We cooked all of our meals at the cabin and had everything we needed there. The cabin is well stocked and very clean. Sherry was great to work with. She provided check in information well before our stay and stayed in touch before we arrived to make sure we had everything we needed. It really felt like our home away from home. We'll definitely be back again! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! The Davis Family

Our favorite place!

We have been staying at the Hummingbird House for the last 4 summers. It’s a great property for our family of 5. The house is clean and has everything we need. Sherry always leaves some special treats for us and is quick to respond to any question or concern. It’s so nice to be able to launch a boat from the property. We had a great week swimming, paddleboarding, and boating. The beauty of Ashley Lake is unsurpassed. It truly is our favorite place!

Paradise on Earth

Fantastic views. Reminded us of the Caribbean. Enjoyed fishing in the morning and sitting by the fire at night. Enjoyed nightly visits of young deer walking through the yard. The hosts were fantastic. They meet us at check in and answered all our questions. We will definitely return.

Awesome lake house!

Hummingbird House is a treasure on beautiful Ashley lake. It is super clean, cute and very well stocked. Sherry and her husband met us at the property to show us around. We loved sitting on the deck, fishing with provided equipment from the little pedal boat, SUPing and bird watching. So quiet and calm. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us!

Spotless Lake house Retreat

We absolutely loved staying at the Hummingbird Lake House! The setting is beautiful, the cabin was immaculate, Sherry and Craig were very accommodating. We highly recommend taking a vacation there!

Perfect rental for our family!

This is our second stay at the Hummingbird Lake House. It has been perfect in every way. The cleanliness & entire set up for space, activities, & furnishings is wonderful! It was fun to catch fish right off the dock & also to boat this time. We definitely are wishing for a return trip very soon! Thanks so much for a most relaxing week.

A great house on the best lake!

Our family of 5 has spent a week here each of the past 3 summers. Most of the rentals on Ashley Lake are on the other end of the lake but we love the quiet on this end. We brought kayaks and paddle boards and rented a boat for the week so we had lots of ways to get around on the water. The weather wasn’t great at the beginning of the week but it warmed up and we spent several days exhausting ourselves in the sun and water. We cooked all our meals at the house and we had everything we needed. Sherry even reached out to find out some of our favorite treats and had those waiting for us. We appreciate that the house is always clean and well-maintained. It’s a great house on the best lake. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

Happy Family @ the Hummingbird Lake House

This was our first stay at the Hummingbird Lake House on Ashley Lake and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our group was myself, my 73 y/o mother, my two brothers and their wives, and my 1 y/o neice and 3 y/o nephew. The main house and smaller cabin were perfect for our group. My brother, his wife, and kids stayed in the smaller cabin. My mother, brother, and sister in law in the main house. We were all quite comfortable! The house is fully equipped with everything and anything you might need in the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as lots of games and movies! The yard was lovely complete with horse shoes, dart board, corn hole, fire pit, and sun deck (as we called it), overlooking the lake. We enjoyed sunning, reading, and swimming at the dock every day! Several of our party took the paddle boat out for a spin and had fun with that too. Sherri and her husband met at at the house to show us around and to answer any questions and we all found that to be really helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this property…we did not want to leave!!

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time reconnecting as a family away from all the worldly distractions. The lake is beautiful. You can see straight to the floor of the lake. It was amazingly clear. The water was cold so we did not do as much swimming as the kids wanted. We did play catch, watched movies, played board games, paddle boarded, kayaked, rented a jet ski, and just made forever lasting memories. We had such a great time spending time together.

Hummingbird Lake House

I cannot say enough great things about this property. From the very start, the owners had great communication.and made sure we had exact directions. They were there to greet us when we arrived to show us where everything was. They even had crawlers for us to fish, right off the dock. Everything was perfect! It was very clean, all new appliances (high quality), comfortable beds, and everything we needed for our week stay. I am very particular about staying anywhere other than my home (my husband can attest to that). This is the first time ever I had no complaints. Beautiful property - the owners renovated and did everything right.

Wonderful experience!

We rented the cabin for a small family trip and enjoyed every moment. There was a space to load our boat into and a little paddle boat that was provided that was so fun! We also took walks down to the campground and explored the area down there. A great place to leave your cellphone behind and create memories with your family.

What a wondeful property. The view of the lake is stunning. We had a great time. We brought our groceries and the kitchen was stocked with everything else that was needed. Would definitely stay here again!

We Could Have Stayed Forever!

This was our second year staying at the Hummingbird House and it won’t be our last! We love how clean this home is. We never saw a single bug inside. We are a family of 5 and we had the perfect amount of space. We spent as much time as possible in and on the lake. We swam, kayaked, paddle boarded, and boated all week long. We rented a boat (from Narrow Path Adventures) and it was so nice that it could be delivered and launched from the property. We also played corn hole, darts, and watched movies in the evenings. We cooked all of our meals in the house and had everything we needed. We fished from the dock and fed the ducks everyday. The weather was perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. We can't wait to come back next year!

My husband has been coming here for vacations since he was a little boy. This is where he learned to love fishing. Great childhood memories for sure! The majestic mountain views are a sight to behold.
