Our house is just up the road from the Shawnee Mountain Ski Area. Located between Bushkill Falls and the Delaware National Recreation Area, it offers hiking, biking, rivers, streams, and waterfalls. From Spring to Fall, easy access to kayak or canoe rentals. Numerous golf courses just minutes away. The historical town of Delaware Water Gap and Stroudsburg offers a variety of restaurants, music venues, wineries, breweries and boutiques. Best of all, we are only 75 minutes west of NYC
Freshly updated and tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable Townhouse, sleeps 8 people. Master bedroom features queen bed, Roku TV and private bathroom. Spa room with the Jacuzzi tub for two with direct access to the master bedroom and balcony overlooking woods surrounding Shawnee Mountain. Two full beds in the second bedroom, and two sleeper sofas in the living room. Living room is spacious with open access to the dining and kitchen area, allowing enough space for a large family with big dinning table for 8. Living room features 50 in TV with Roku connected to Netflix and Amazon Prime, fireplace. Slider doors to a deck with table, 4 chairs and open access to backyard with propane grill. Fast WIFI internet access is included and covers the whole property and backyard.
Youā€™re invited to take a break and enjoy our outdoor space. All around community grounds and directly in our backyard, peaceful setting to enjoy relaxing on the deck and listening to amazing sounds of nature. To complement, a propane grill is there for your enjoyment. If youā€™re more active and looking for longer hiking or water activities, we highly recommend the Delaware River, DWG National Recreation Area, Bushkill Falls, Hidden lake park, and trails, all just 5 to 10 minutes away. Kalahari, Aquatopia at Camelback and Gray Wolf water parks are just 30 minutes away. For adults, there are a number of wineries and breweries to visit, many offering special events with live music and entertainment.
Mount Airy Casino 35 minutes away, and for those who are looking for a designer shopping , Crossings Factory Outlets are only 25 minutes away. Supermarkets and restaurants are just over a mile away.

Ski weekend

Great location a couple of minutes from Shawnee mountain. Very Clean & nice house. Easy to contact the property manager with any questions. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Quick trip

Tom & Jola were excellent hosts. Quick to respond to any questions and very clear on thier expectations of guests staying at the property. The home was spotless and extremely clean. Check in and out was a breeze. Definitely will be back again when we visit Shawnee Mountain.

A most comfortable home away from home

Tom and Jola were wonderful hosts! Our 2-week stay at their home pleasantly turned into a most comfortable (beyond our expectations) home away from home for us. They were very thoughtful in making sure all the basic things one would need are there and presented clearly. Tom's communication was prompt, clear and cordial - on arrival, during the stay when I had to call him once, and at departure. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area, and highly recommend to any family looking for a nice place to stay in Poconos.

Great quiet get away with walking and hiking near by.

Beautiful wooded setting in quiet neighborhood. With restaurants and stores only a short drive away. House is fully equipped with everything needed to make your stay enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable after a long day of hiking. The hosts were very friendly and responded promptly to any questions I had. Check in and check out went smoothly. Our stay was awesome!

Rest and relaxation.

This property was perfect for a short getaway for me and my husband last minute. The property had everything that you would need. The hosts had great communication. It was clean and well maintained. The spa/tub was a great bonus. We will definitely book again.

Great condo!

We enjoyed our stay greatly! The condo was sparkling clean. Tom and Jola's communications were appreciated so we knew just what to expect. The property was conveniently located and served as a perfect home base for our explorations of the area, and the beds were comfy after hours of hiking. And most importantly to us, the condo is in a safe and quiet area. We look forward to staying here again!

Perfect location for a waterfalls and hiking trip!

This property location was ideal for our trip. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood. The layout of the home was comfortable. The home was well equipped for a longer stay. Quite and friendly neighborhood

The property was very clean and organized. The neighbors were very friendly. Its such a peaceful place to get away from the chaos of the city. There is also a lot of family oriented activites to engage in a few miles away from the house. Thanks to the host for putting together a ton of information to help us navigate the surrounding areas.What stood out the most for the kids was the neighborhood cat tigress she left an impact on their hearts now we have to think of getting a cat ourselves. Overall we had a wonderful time exploring and relaxing.We definitely recommend this host. definitely recommend this host.usn the area

Anniversary weekend

Thank you for sharing your home with us and keeping it affordable so we could celebrate a weekend away! The townhouse was very clean, comfortable, spacious with great amenities! The spa room is a special treat. We arrived to check in after a two hour hike through Bushkill Falls, and relaxed eating our dinner outside on the rear deck with privacy. Sunday we slept til nine, we haven't slept in ..in years! We appreciated the 11 AM check out. We liked the atmosphere of the neighborhood and that this rental is an end unit and quiet. Communication with the owners was simply perfect. We look forward to renting again.

This place is great. There are not that many options for lodging in East Stroudsburg. This will cost you the same as a Hampton Inn type place. Its SO QUIET. I don't think i heard another person. The whirl pool is right off the bedroom and its awesome. I went hiking and came back and it was perfect. I didn't even know about the whirl pool. The bedrooms are very nice. 2 full bathrooms upstairs and 1/2 downstairs. The AC works VERY well. It was 98 F when I arrived. It was cold inside, upstairs was the same as my house at home when its 98 F. The owners are really on top of things. They email you all the details. They are strict, but that is what I like. I don't want to stay at a party house. The place is nice, because they are strict. If you are looking a place to party, don't choose this place. Its a family neighborhood. All appliances work well. Washer dryer is great for towels and bathing suits. Small loads. I wish this family all the luck with their rental. I will be back many times.

Comfy condo

Here for a late fall weekend. Well appointed condo in a good location to visit NE Pennsylvania and NW New Jersey. We did both. Wolf preserve and many waterfalls. Would definitely come back for skiing at Shawnee as well.

Love this place! The neighbor hood is quiet, it's close to many restaurants, there's hiking nearby and if you like to shop there are many stores and specialty shops. We'll be back again next year!

There is nothing like the glow of the fire to relax and heat you up, making it warm and inviting! In the warmer seasons you are just 3 miles away from Hidden Lake, and the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area providing what every outdoors-man desires including multiple hiking trails, canoeing, fishing, swimming and multiple picnic ares. Between the comfort of our townhouse and the location, you couldn't ask for anything more!
