The house is located in a quiet residential part of Taormina, allowing you to relax and enjoy the breath-taking view of the Mediterranean Sea from the patio. At the same time you are a few minutesā€™ walk from the lively Corso Umberto at the heart of Taormina, where you can enjoy performances in the Greek Amphitheater and an ā€œaperitivoā€ in one of the many well renowned bars and restaurants. The house also benefits from a five minute walk to the gondola taking you down to the beautiful Isola Bella beach and crystal clear sea.

The house itself is completely renovated and consists of one double bedroom with en-suite shower room on the ground floor, a second double bedroom, and a twin bedroom (with a 3 level bunk bed) sharing a bathroom with bath, a modern and functional kitchen with breakfast bench, and a large comfortable living room. The kitchen has direct access to a patio with dining table to enjoy all-year-round sunshine and stunning views. The property has been stylishly furnished combining Sicilian and modern designs.

Further, Casa Giorgia offers a unique base for daytrips to visit the Etna volcano, towns like Castelmola and Siracusa with the fairytale island of Ortigia or trips to local olive orchards where you make your own olive oil. You will not run out of things to do!

WiFi internet connection is available for free throughout the residence together with cable television (with smart TV) and washing machine.

There is no parking spot with the house but there is a parking lot 3-5 minutes walk which has around 60 spaces. It's busy in July/August and costs around 7-10 euros per day.

We loved our stay in Taormina! The apartment is spacious and very clean! You can walk to town and to the beach, but bring comfortable shoes because there are a lot of very hilly walks!

Had a wonderful stay in beautiful Taormina. We were close to the centre, kept us fit with a few steps but allowed us to not worry about the lovely food we were eating! The house met all our needs, clean and spacious for the five of us with the three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We would love to stay again.

Amazing Stay

This property is amazing. Is so much larger than it appears online. And the location is great. Just a quick walk to the town center. Oswald, the owner, was very quick to respond. I would definitely stay again. This was our favorite place we stayed in during our vacation.

Very nice apartment

Great to have a washing machine at this point in our trip! Check in process was easy and very thoughtful details (water, cookies). Great advice on parking and walking routes. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Fantastic house. Perfect location

A lovely house beautifully renovated and decorated. A quiet area only 5 minutes walk from the hustle bustle of Corso Umberto. The cable car down to Isola Bella is less than 5 mins away. A fantastic sea view from the terrace. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Excellent house close to town centre

Deceptively large house with lovely terrace overlooking the sea and the mainland. Very good facilities, air con perfect, and a warm welcome. Easy walk to the cable car or straight down the road to the beach. Quite a lot of steps to the town so be prepared! Close to local supermarket and everything Taormina has to offer. We felt very safe there and had a wonderful week.

Good location for Taormina

We had a great stay in Taormina. The property is in a good location, walking distance from the cablecar and Taormina centre. However do take note of the owner's comments on the steep steps up to the town. It was ok for us but we did struggle on our last trip up (when heading for the bus terminal with suitcases). The property was well appointed. We had a couple of issues on check-in but these were swiftly resolved by the owner and housekeeper who were both very responsive. Thank you for a great stay.

Lovely

Taormina is a hot tourist destination, and not for the faint hearted when it comes to steps and hills! Butā€¦ it is also very beautiful and definitely worth visiting. This house is perfectly situated being close enough to the town centre, not too far up the precipitous landscape and just out of the way enough to be peaceful. The rooms are light & airy & thankfully have AC which made the heatwave bearable! You wonā€™t be disappointed if you book to stay here.

Taormina - 6 pax 2 couples and 2 single sons

This villa is fabulous and is everything it describes on line. However...... beware there are 238 steps to the Corso. This may not deter most but we had two 60+yr olds in our group who managed but ....couldn't talk at the end of the walk. Clean, marvellous view, check was a dream and recommendations second to none. All up would recommend this villa but be aware of the stairs.

Beautiful Terrace-House

We had a marvelous time at the nice house in beautiful Taormina. It offers enough space for 7 people (with 2 comfortable double bedrooms and a tiny kids room with an extra 3rd bed and two fully functional bathrooms). The terraces at the back and in front of the house are great places to rest). The location is calm and in easy walking distance to the historical center and the theater. Restaurants, CafĆ© and bakery are in easy rich - except for Taorminas many stair walksā€¦ Communication with the owner as well as the local housekeeper was great. Thanks

Comfortable and convenient

Alfina was fantastic! She was helpful, prompt and very kind. She met us at the house. Was available by messenger to get quick answers and she checked in with us to see if we needed anything and to bring us treats! The apartment was clean and pretty and had everything we needed. The patio was relaxing and a beautifies. Towards the end of our week the temperature outside became very hot and the air conditioning kept up beautifully. The location was terrific. An uphill walk on the way to town and the funicular but downhill after dinner. We found that the steps to the parking garage was a great shortcut to town as it cut the walk in half. I definitely would stay here again!

Really enjoyed our stay

The property was perfect for our stay. The view from the patio is even better than pictured! The location is close to Corso Umberto and all the main shops. There are some significant hills and several sets of stairs but this is true of the entire area. 4 stars for check in as we werenā€™t able to get our phones working right away and luckily an Italian also on vacation let us borrow their phone. The housekeeper (person to check us in) wasnā€™t able to meet us at the house as planned and only speaks Italian. Whatsup or text app is recomended so one can translate if you do not speak Italian. The upstairs bathroom floor wasnā€™t thoroughly clean but we were overall pleased with the cleanliness and felt the accommodations fit our families needs and the view was way better than expected. The price may have increased from when we booked but I would stay in this property again.
