This exquisite first floor apartment with ground floor access (no steps) has two double bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom and is positioned on a quiet road with completely uninterrupted views over Kalkan harbour, minutes from the main town. Comfortably sleeping up to 4 in total, it has a swimming pool, balcony, outdoor terrace and parking. Free WiFi and Bills are included, and there is a remote controlled air conditioning unit in every room. It’s a 4 min. walk to the Carrefour supermarket and a further 5 min. walk to the beach, through the cobbled streets. I also have the flat below if you have a larger group and want to spread out, out, and you are likely to have exclusive use of the pool, terraces, grounds and gardens as the top floor flat is rarely used.

The property itself is situated in a fabulous location with a south facing balcony that gets the best of the sun all day long, and with wonderful, uninterrupted views across the harbour and sea. The sort of flat you would love to be able to live in all year long! I provide a return taxi from and to the airport (through my agent at a small cost) or travel directions for those making their own way to the property, and a full list of instructions for getting the best out of the property and the surrounding area with recommendations of the best restaurants and cafes to go to will be sent by e-mail once the booking has been received. I also provide a welcome pack for my guests at no extra cost.

I am available on e-mail and phone and will respond to questions and queries straight away and usually within a few minutes. I also have a very friendly agent who manages things very efficiently for me in person and will tend to everybody's needs. I am very experienced in hosting and hospitality and thoroughly enjoy giving customers a first class experience.

The surrounding area is beautiful, peaceful and very relaxing. You have the choice of lying on the sun loungers by the pool, sitting on the balcony, enjoying the shaded outside terrace or venturing into town to go to the many shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and markets. You do not need a car as everything is a very short walk away, however, it is useful if you wish to visit Kas, Saklikent, Patara beach, Tlos or any of the other nearby beauty spots.

Beautiful views, lovely apartment we stayed 2 nights and it was great for 4 of us 10 min walk to town and we had exclusive use of the pool as the other 2 apartments were not occupied we would return.

We have really enjoyed our holiday in Kalkan at John's wonderful apartment. This was our first time staying at this property and we will definitely be returning. The views were outstanding from the apartment and pool, absolutely breathtaking. A really comfortable night sleep, clean and tidy. For those who haven't been to Kalkan, it is a steep hill to get to the accommodation, an excellent calorie burner after an evening meal John has also been really responsive, great host woukd highly recommend.

Good sized Appartement with everything you need and with great view from the terrace ich habe and nice clean pool. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Short walk to supermarket and restaurants. Only the googlemaps link on the webpage pointed to another building so we had to call the owner for the exact location.

A spacious home with a spectacular sea view from a large, comfortable balcony ideal for dining and reading. The entire process was seamless. John was a helpful and responsive host. We loved our stay and will certainly return.

We only stayed here for 2 nights as we were passing through Kalkan. Google maps took us a block too far when trying to locate the property but John was quick to respond and help navigate us in the right direction. The apartment was clean and the aircon worked well which was a relief in 37 degree heat. The views from the balcony are stunning, especially around sunset. The pool was in use much of our stay by the family staying below. When we went for an evening swim, we did feel a little watched as the ground floor property is directly in front of the pool and there was some curtain twitching so just something to be mindful of. The walk to the beach is closer to 10 mins and is a very steep walk but the beach made it worth the effort.Overall we had a lovely stay and felt that we got a lot for our money. Thank you!

We had a lovely stay. The property is clean, spacious with the added bonus of air con.Views are stunning and balcony is a really great size.It is hilly but taxis are cheap. The views make up for it.

The property is great, very clean, amazing view, nice pool, (as in the attached picture),Even though the road is not far from the property, this is not disturbing at all since there is not much traffic, it is possible to go by foot to Kalkan city center, the marina and the beach are less than 5 minutes away by carour stay was very pleasant and I would come back there with great pleasure

Great value appartment with stunning views

Our 2nd time staying here and had a lovely 2 weeks. John’s appartment is well located a short (but steep) walk from the old town and harbour. Communication was excellent as always, appartment is comfortable with air con and a shared pool. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing views

John the host needs to update his photos of the apartment as the don’t do the place justice. The bathroom is a little tired but the rest of the place is lovely. Oh boy, those views!

The apartment was bright and spacious and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is situated up the hill which can be daunting for the infirm but it’s really not as far out as it might seem. It’s a 5-10 minute downhill walk into the centre of Kalkan. Of course that means a walk uphill on the way home or a very short taxi ride. The advantage of being uphill is that you get stunning views over Kalkan from the balcony and from every window and you’re looking directly over the pool. This is supported by some good outdoor furniture.There were a few reviews that mentioned the road below but I didn’t realise it was the main D400 road which runs through Kalkan. So it does get noisy at times but didn’t really bother me (it was the Turkish holiday period so traffic was busier than normal).It’s been reported in reviews that the bathroom needs an upgrade and I would agree but believe the owner intends to address the issue.Overall a lovely stay.

The views from the property are the main reason I bought the apartment, and I agree that they are spectacular - I am so glad that you thought so too, and had a good stay. The D400 is not normally that noisy and, importantly, is much quieter in the evenings and nighttime. You are welcome to come back anytime!

Beautiful apartment overlooking the Sea. Great location if you don't mind the steep 10 minute walk into town. Wasn't a problem for us but would be difficult if you had mobility issues. John the owner was terrific. He is a great communicator and has everything well organized. We would stay here again.

One hundred percent perfect.

This two-bedroom apartment ticked every box that was required. The swimming pool was big enough to do some swimming and also to indulge in a bit of fun with my son. The WiFi was perfect; my son will vouch for that. Both rooms were big and spacious. But for us both, having our dinner in the evening on the balcony overlooking the town was fantastic with uninterrupted views.  It may look like some distance to the seafront, but rest assured it is not; even for a 63-year-old, I walked there and back most days. The Host: John was a fantastic host; we could not fault him; he was on call 24/7 for any advice or problems we may have had.  Everything you need and require is about 10/15 minutes away, max. Yes, it is near a main road, but even myself, being a very light sleeper, did not suffer any lost sleep or irritation over it.  I also noticed somebody complained about the very few swimming places. There are a number of swimming places, which you can get to by free boat taxis. Kalkan is not a sandy beach area, but that did not worry us. And if you want to go to a sandy beach, there are a few around that you drive to. But we were happy with what we had in the not-so-overcrowded areas that you find on a beach.

We had a great week at Eliza Apartment. Great value and location excellent for walking into Kalkan in 5 minutes. Our host John was fantastic with communication and making sure everything was ok for our stay. He even arranged for an additional time to checkout as we had a late pickup to go to Dalaman when coming home! Excellent customer service!Would highly recommend and would stay again no problem!

We enjoyed our stay overall. The view is absolutely stunning and was one of the highlights of the property. The AC worked very well, the pool was nice and never felt crowded, and having both a washing machine and reliable Wi-Fi made the stay very comfortable.A few things future guests should be aware of:- The property is on a steep hill. We often walked down to the old town but usually took a taxi back up, especially in the heat.- All beds are twin beds. While some are positioned together, the frames leave a gap between them, which may be less comfortable for couples expecting a larger shared bed.- The bathroom is functional but somewhat dated, and the tub can be a little awkward to enter and exit.- The kitchen was adequate for basic cooking, though some of the cookware shows its age.Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and especially appreciated the incredible view, strong air conditioning, pool, laundry facilities, and dependable Wi-Fi.

Thanks also for the pointers - I will ask my agent to replace the utensils that are a bit used and I intend on refurbishing the apartment at the end of the season, I’ve already got a quote for this and have instructed a builder. I can’t do much about the hill, but I always say that you won’t get the view without the hill, it’s a good trade off in my opinion, and I always get a taxi up at the end of an evening, they are plentiful and quite inexpensive. I very much look forward to hopefully hosting you again one day.

Öncelikle bu daireyi seçerken çok arada kaldık çünkü yorumlar ingilizce ve evin hostuda yabancıydı ancak iletişim kurma şeklimiz o adar kolay oldu ki hiçbir şekilde iletişim problemi yaşanmadı kaldığımız yer biraz ana yolun üstünde kalıyor ve kalkanı bilenler bilir yokuşlu yolları var bu yüzden arabasiz seyehat biraz zorlayıcı olabilir kaldığımız zamanda üst ve alt katlar boştu ve kendimizi villa kiralamış gibi hissettik bu yüzden çok keyif geçirdik. kaldığımız süre zarfında patara plajı ve kaputas plajinia gitme şansımız oldu arabayla en fazla 15 dk sürüyor merkez de yürüme mesafesinde ama yol biraz zorlayabilir.Evin inanılmaz bir manzarası var balkondan neredeyse hiç çıkmadık evin icerisi çok temizdi ve ihtiyacımız olan hersey bulunuyordu John beye misafirperligi için çok teşekkür ederiz 5/5

Appartement agréable avec une très chouette piscine. Mais une très grosse route sous l’appartement ( a quatre voies) qui fait vraiment beaucoup de bruit. Et très peu de lieux de baignades alentour.

I think your one star is very mean though, there is a road that runs underneath the property but it is barely used at all in the evening/nighttime and has not been a problem for other guests. There is a swimming pool in the grounds that is of ample size and there are three award winning beaches nearby, Kaputas, Kalkan beach and Patara, which is 71 kilometers long. Maybe you just didn’t find them?
