Its accessibility, services, quality of life, care of the streets, shops, friendliness of its people, make Alboraia the ideal place to live and of course, to stay. Our house is a century-old house, newly renovated in 2016. A house whose origins are humble, austere and simple, respected in its essence to the fullest, but adapted / equipped to make you feel at ease, as in your home. After several months of rehabilitation, we have saved that character from the houses in the Huerta Norte area of Valencia: its high ceilings with wooden beams, its characteristic and appreciated nolla mosaic floor, its solid wood entrance gate, its corral (today transformed into an appetizing terrace with barbecue), its doors and original windows of mobila wood and glass; and if you add a totally new bathroom and kitchen respecting the materials, shapes and colors of before, fresh, light and modern rooms, with a touch of personality, Voilà! You are in the ideal place to stay on your getaway to Valencia.

We will make you feel at home, you will not lack anything. Sheets, towels and complete utensils. Some books and reading guides of natural parks in Spain, interesting places, travel guides from different countries, tourist information of Valencia .... Relax reading and preparing your next getaway in the "Reading Corner" of the hall ..... We love to travel!

And to sleep we have prepared 3 types of rooms, to adapt to your profile (family, friends, couple ..):
* The room "GREEN ROOM" with a double bed of 150x190, closets and shelves in sight, unique pieces and fresh atmosphere, like our garden: comfortable and pleasant. Inside.
* The room "BLUE ROOM", Mediterranean atmosphere, a reflection of our coastal character; with 2 beds of 90x190, old window to the street with a spectacular sun in the morning, the sheets will stick to you ....
* The room "BLACK ROOM", with 1 single bed, 90x180, small and light as the luggage of a bag that travels to Africa, The traveling soul that we all carry inside ... Old bedroom of the house. Small but cozy space. Inside. Advisable for children, for the size.

All rooms have a full-length mirror, additional coat hangers, armchair / chair, winter comforter, light blanket on the foot of the bed, additional power outlets (the whole house operates at 220V).

The capacity of the House is for 5 people (counting adults and children), staying in double and single rooms.

The sober lounge welcomes you to take a break or watch TV for a while. The seriousness of a wall tile plating with a hundred years surround you, a peculiar mosaic of small ceramic pieces caress your feet, and thick wooden beams on those high ceilings bathe you with the warmth and personality that we no longer find in modern houses ...

The small but cozy dining room leaves everything at hand; its original wall plating, an antique wall display cabinet (the original!), cupboard, the open kitchen and the exit door to the terrace (the old corral of the house) will leave you undecided on where to have breakfast: the best option, without a doubt, the terrace! There is a little corner for tea, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and why not! Make us a barbecue as a family! You don't want to leave the terrace ...

Despite the austerity and sobriety of the house, we have not forgotten the comfort for your stay: Air conditioning throughout the house (hot / cold). WIFI. Warm wood slats on the walls of the rooms. 1 set of sheets and towels for all guests. SmartTv terrestrial television and ASTRA satellite. Bluetooth receiver for ambient sound (connect music from your mobile or tablet to listen to music). Access control entrance to the house in case we cannot receive you. Washing machine. Equipped kitchen: vitro, oven, microwave, medium size refrigerator, toaster, electric water heater, complete utensils; Coffee, cocoa, sugar, and salt, always ready. It does not have a dishwasher. Hot water (100 liters electric thermos). Outdoor shower on the terrace (use it when returning from the beach!, or just to refresh you). Bathroom with shower (circle room of 80cm); The sink sink of 90 years ago has recovered!; does not have a bidet; gel and shampoo at your disposal. Clothesline, table and clothes iron. Extendable dining table (4-6 people).

Let's not forget that the original architecture and distribution of the house has been respected, the concept of that time is not the current one: the sizes of the rooms are not as considerable as they are currently built, so for example the single room was the old children's bedroom , and its window leaves a communication open and connected to the living room. The small bathroom / toilet, (which in the 20s was not given the current importance, and was usually installed outside in the corral), it was appreciated that it was inside the house, like ours, since in the town , the town houses had it in the corral: this one is inside the house, small but with just and necessary (it does not have a bidet). The interior layout of the house (only one exterior room), guaranteed a more pleasant and cool temperature in the hot Valencian summer months.

THE VALENCIAN POPULAR ARCHITECTURE. This house retains its original architecture. This one in particular is of austere origin, of a humble family, which records its construction, which has been tried to keep as much as possible; Keep this detail in mind during your stay. Highlights include its high ceilings with wooden beams, the original ceramic mosaic floors of Nolla, the veneers on the walls, the wooden doors of mobila, some step windows with very thin crystals, windows with bars even the interiors, alcoves (interior rooms), the corral with paellero (today transformed into a terrace with barbecue), the manger for beasts (currently closed, in the process of conservation), ..... A very particular characteristic of the Valencian houses of the maritime towns and the villages of the garden, is that they have no foundation; Soils and houses are built directly on farmland. Therefore it is said that the houses are alive, they RESPIRATE, since the humidity of the soil is transmitted by capillarity through all the walls of the house, giving it a very characteristic smell, a smell between earth and lime. A wooden gate gives the entrance to the guest, and a "right-hand" construction indicates that the rooms of the house are all distributed on the same side throughout the house. They are constructions of maximum height, that is, ground floor + first floor, which usually housed the parents (ground floor), and subsequently the children on the top floor when they were getting married, both floors being independent houses. Casa Huerta de Valencia is ground floor.


And the PARKING! You have 100 meters from the House, an underground parking LowCost so you can forget to drive around with the car.

If you want to visit Valencia city, 1 minute walk you have the Alboraya Metro Station, which takes you directly to the center and the airport.

Don't forget that you are in the cradle of LA HORCHATA! Alboraya has the chufa with designation of origin. Famous throughout the region for its horchaterías, be sure to visit them, some in the town center and others in the same garden, make this town a place of pilgrimage for lovers of the authentic.

If you go to the BEACH, with your car you will be in less than 5 minutes, and you can also take the bus you have to the beach, with a stop 15 meters from the door of the House.

BASIC RULES OF THE HOUSE: Out of respect for all guests, smoking is NOT allowed in the rooms. Pets are NOT allowed. The books are reading at home. Towels are for use in the apartment (shower, sink); If you need beach towels, request the optional rental service. Please check the volume of the sound reproduction devices during rest hours. The capacity of the house is 5 people staying; Visits (not overnight) must be authorized by the owners. To celebrate some kind of event at the House, check beforehand the feasibility of it with us.
