This apartment in Sunset Villas, Vila Sol, is located close to the Vila Sol Hotel and Golf Club House with the restaurant and bar facilities at your disposal. The beaches of Vilamoura and Quinta do Lago are within a few minutes drive. Quiet and peaceful, yet only a few minutes from the centres of Vilamoura, Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago, the property has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

The apartment benefits from a shared pool and extensive garden area. Leading from the living room is a spacious terrace with views towards the golf course, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. The property is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

Free WiFi is available as are 4 National TV channels.

Vilamoura has one of europes largest and most exciting marinas which is surrounded by suberb shops, affordable restaurants, banks, supermarkets, bars and tourist offices, and with 2 Blue Flag beaches on either side of the Marina.

Water sports are naturally big here in addition to dinghy sailing, there is jet sking, paragliding, scuba diving, snorkeling, water sking, windsurfing and shark and marlin fishing.

Surrounded by 6 golf courses of the highest calibre, and a Casino within a few minutes drive. Faro airport is just 20 minutes away.

July 25 stay

Excellent comms with the management company. Very accommodating as our flight times changed and they allowed an early check in and late departure. The apartment has everything you need, more garden and patio furniture than you can use. Everything has been thought of. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic relaxing holiday

The property was just as described and exactly how it appears in photos. It was extremely spacious & had absolutely everything we needed. The complex was quiet & beautifully presented. We had no bother with the booking process, there was good communication & everything was made very easily. We would go back tomorrow if we could. Highly recommend!

Reasonable Apartment. Hence the three Stars could easily upgrade to this four with a few adjustments

A fair size apartment only spoilt by the fact the owners belongings take up a proportion of the space. Two nice sized bathrooms and bedrooms... . If there was anything that was disappointing no English channels on the TV which would have been nice over lunch whilst relaxing in the apartment. Would I stay here again? I do think you could find better apartments at Sun Set Villas as we found speaking to other holiday makers and owners but not bad for a booking made two months before we were due to travel.

Dear Mr Iversen Thank you for your review. We are somewhat surprised at your comments as previous visitors have enjoyed the apartment very much and we have a lot of return visitors each year. The owners will be disappointed also as they believe they have equipped the apartment to a high level and are proud of the amenities they provide. English TV is available within the apartment and would have been working on arrival as part of our pre-arrival check - not sure why you couldn't access it but a phone call to our office would have ensured us passing by to ensure you were able to view them. The owners belongings you mention can only be those in the cupboards held in the hallway of the apartment - these hold the towel and linen stock for the property and yes, some of the owners belongings - but we believe the hallway is more than big enough to accommodate them, and as you state, the two bedrooms and bathrooms are a nice size; together with the light and airy lounge and huge sunbathing terrace with awning and sun loungers and dining table and chairs off the lounge and kitchen area we believe the apartment offers a lot to families holidaying there. Accommodation is very good, with all the facilities you could possibly need. If you are arriving late, remember to pack a few things for the morning as no convenience stores in the immediate location and no basic supplies provided (tea, coffee etc)Pool is very nice but no sunloungers. Most people bring their own from their apartment. This apartment is not immediately by the pool so was difficult to do this. We just laid on towels on the grass instead.We didn’t have a car and found the location a little bit far out, but we managed very well either by walking (10-15mins) to the nearest shops and restaurants or by using Uber for day trips.Just an honest review to help with anyone wanting to stay here. I would stay again if I was coming to the area. Very clean and pleasant for a relaxing break.

Lovely property

We have had a lovely stay at the property, it is spacious, modern and well equipped with everything you could want for a relaxing holiday. We did have a couple of issues during our stay but Norton MacKenzie resolved them very quickly and professionally they were fantastic! My husband and son enjoyed using the driving range which is a short walk away. Only negative things were no English TV channels which isn’t a major problem but to be able to watch the TV last thing at night or first thing in the morning would be nice maybe consider getting something like an Amazon Fire Stick? No view of the golf course from the property as described however, it is a short distance away but we thought it was from our property/patio. Very little storage in the kitchen for non perishable food we had to pile everything on the breakfast bar which meant this couldn’t be used to eat at. We would definitely stay here again and had a lovely family holiday - thank you.
