Ca 'Spina is an independent rustic house, renovated in 2011 and made available to those who want to discover our territory. It is 600 meters away from the country center, fifteen minutes from Verona or from Lake Garda. Ca' Spina has a garden of about 1000 square meters, a furnished small terrace and private closed parking. The hause consists of kitchen, a double room and bathroom with shower, possibility of extra bed downstairs (3 persons max). The rooms are well furnished and equipped with kitchen, bedroom and bathroom linen. To our guests will be offered a delicious local welcome. Ca' Spina is open all year round, even for one night.

Nice calm location, lovely atmosphere.

We enjoyed the location very much. The house has everything you might need, and for us it was perfect as we were travelling with our dogs. The garden was well fenced off, and when the weather was warm we had lots of shade to keep us out of the sun. The owner of the property was very friendly and helpful, with prompt replies to all our questions.

Lovely quirky place tucked away

Ideal for getting away from it all (we went on honeymoon) tucked away from the crowds. Ideal for visiting Verona and Lake Garda and plenty of wine tasting opportunities. It has a lovely outdoor space for sitting in the sun or shade of the olive tree. My one suggestion for improvement would be better directions / labelling of the property as it took us ages to find. The other one would be it needs some tea towels! Thanks Serena for being a wonderful host.

Insel zum Entspannen

Absolut erholsam. Serena ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin mit tollen Tipps und völlig unkompliziert. Das Häuschen ist winzig, charmant und die Einrichtung ausreichend - sogar eine Klimaanlage ist vorhanden. Im Garten/ Terreasse lässt sich gut entspannen, für sportliche Aktivitäten ist er zu klein und zu sehr bewachsen. Berge, Weinberge und Gardasee laden zu Ausfügen ein. Im August empfehlen wir ein Auto, für Fahrradtouren und Wandern ist es einfach zu heiß. Zum Einkaufen wird ebenfalls ein Auto benötigt. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Sehr urig und gemütlich

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Häuschen weiterempfehlen. Wichtig zu wissen ist evtl., dass die Wendeltreppe recht klein ist und nicht gerade für Hunde geeignet :-).

Absolutely lovely cottage

Super cute, very clean cottage in stunning vineyard location, loads of outside seating, ample parking and very nicely presented, very clean and with nice ameneties (everything you would need). Serena is a lovely host who gives you lots of great top tips on the locale. Loved it

The apartment is just as is described .

Very much enjoyed our 5 night stay at Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella. This property is a small barn conversion and is ideal for a couple. It is well equipped and has air conditioning, use of a car is essential. Guarda, Bardolino, Verona and Valpolicella are all within 20min drive

Schöne Lage und gute Austattung

Die Unterkunft hat eine schöne und sehr ruhige Lage zwischen den Weinbergen. Verona und der Gardasee sind sehr gut erreichbar. Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und ist immer verfügbar. Die Ausstattung in der Küche und im Bad ist sehr gut. Durch die Klimaanlage bleibt es schön kühl. Lediglich der Duschvorhang im Badezimmer ist nicht nutzbar. Dieser müsste an der Wand befestigt oder ausgetauscht werden. Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Ca´Spina

Ein sehr schönes, schnuckliges Häuschen am Ortsende von SantAbrogio di Valpolicella. Alles war so wie in der Beschreibung dargestellt. Sowohl der Gardasee wie auch Verona waren gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Danke noch einmal für den lieben Empfang. Es war alles ganz unkompliziert. Gerne wieder!

Erholsamer Urlaub in Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella

Wer es ruhig haben möchte, umgeben von Weinbergen, gerne wandert oder Fahrrad fährt, sich für Kultur interressiert und den Gardasee erkunden möchte, ist hier vollkommen richtig. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man benötigt: Küche (alles vorhanden), Bad, Schlafzimmer und einen großen und ruhigen Garten. Wir hatten wirklich einen angenehmen und erholsamen Urlaub. Vielen Dank Serena dass wir bei Euch wohnen durften. Wir werden Euer Domizil weiter empfehlen und bestimmt auch wieder kommen!

Gezellig huisje met fantastische tuin

De ontvangst door Luciana was geweldig. Ze was heel flexibel met de aankomst- en vertrektijd. Luciana heeft verteld over de omgeving en kwam met leuke tips wat te doen in de omgeving. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. De tuin is fantastisch met veel mogelijkheden en is goed afgesloten, waardoor onze hond ook genoten heeft van alle ruimte om te spelen en te luieren. Prima uitvalbasis om Verona te bezoeken en te genieten van de omgeving van het Gardameer.

Nous avons adoré cet endroit plein de charme. Tout autour de magnifiques vignobles et des sentiers de randonnées au Mont Baldo qui valent le détour avec tout en bas le lac de Garde. Cet endroit est notre plus beau souvenir de ce voyage de 3 semaines en Italie.

A Pearl in the fantastic Valpolicella district

I can understand why so many people will not recommend Ca´Spina, it is such an amazing pearl, a discovery you would like to keep for yourself, in order to make sure it is free the next time you want to come back. We fell in love with this rustic house, the minute we laid eyes on it. It is not only beautiful and charming; it is also practical and convenient a true home away from home. Furthermore Serena Lonardi is the perfect host, she provides great information of the area and if you ask for further advice she is more than willing to help you with any request, in order to give you the best holiday ever. So if you love the tranquility of the countryside, the amazing Amarone wines and the hospitality of the Italian people, this is the place to go. We will be back for more!

mit viel Liebe eingerichtetes Haus

Liebe Serena, vielen Dank für ein paar schöne Tage in Ihrem wunderbaren kleinen Haus, vielen Dank für das köstliche Gastgeschenk und die guten Tipps für Ausflüge und Unternehmungen - alles haben wir sehr genossen und empfehlen das Haus jederzeit gerne weiter. Das Haus entspricht exakt der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Alles wichtige ist vorhanden und in gutem Zustand. Bis auf das Zirpen der Grillen (jahreszeitlich und wetterbedingt) ist es ruhig und angenehm. Restaurants sind in Laufabstand, außerdem ein kleiner Supermarkt, Bäcker und eine Bank. Sehr wenige Touristen direkt im Ort. Ein größerer Supermarkt kann mit dem Auto in ca. 10 Minuten gut erreicht werden. Der Ort ist günstig gelegen - Ausflüge an den Gardasee mit ca. 20 minütiger Autofahrt verbunden, nach Verona 25 Minuten Fahrt und eine schöne Naturlandschaft beginnt direkt oberhalb des Ortes. Eine schöne Gegend - gut geeignet um ein paar Tage oder auch länger zu entspannen und sich den italienischen Genüssen hinzugeben.

Wunderbares Ferienhaus

Wir haben im Ca´Spina zwei Wochen im September 2012 verbracht. Das Häuschen ist mit viel Geschmack liebevoll eingerichtet. Der umgebende Garten bietet zu jeder Tageszeit einen angenehmen Ruheplatz, alles ist gut gepflegt. In Fußentfernung befinden sich hervorragende Restaurants, und sollte man noch Lust auf eine Flasche Wein haben - im Haus steht ein Weinregal... Serena ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin, die den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm zu machen versteht. Das Ca´Spina ist definitiv erste Wahl, sollten wir noch einmal in diese Gegend kommen.

very enjoyable stay

We stayed in this house for 6 days. Lovely house, decorated with care. The foto shows exactly why we loved the house so much. It is situated just above the village but very quiet with a love garden. The village is typical Italian, not much tourisme but has a few restaurants that are definitely worth the visit. It's obvious that the village lies in the Valplicella wine district, one of the vineards is just arounf the corner, Boscaini Carlo, very good wine! The owner/care keeper was very friendly and most eager to help with what ever we wanted. Will defintely consider visting the village and this house again.
