In the heart of the baroque center of Catania, on the first floor of a historic building, the Casetta dell'Elefante overlooks the Cathedral garden and the Abbey of Sant'Agata, the church with the most beautiful baroque dome in the city.

A stone's throw from the historic market of Pescheria and the main sites of interest, literally a stone's throw from the Cathedral of St. Agatha and from the adjacent Piazza del Duomo (headquarters of the town hall and Elephant's residence), all sites of tourist interest are easily reachable by foot in a few minutes: Via Etnea, Palazzo Biscari, Castello Ursino, the Benedictine Monastery, the historical markets "La Pescheria" and "a Fera o Luni", the Greek Theater, the Greco-Roman Amphitheater and the Teatro Massimo Bellini, are only the most famous among the gems that over the centuries have given luster and character unique to the city of Catania and that today are guarded by a citizenship always ready to welcome those interested in the exhibition.
