Hunter's Casita is a 2 bedroom 2 bath beach level condo located in the beautiful Las Gaviotas Resort.

Las Gaviotas is located at the southern most part of Sandy Beach, next to Penasco Del Sol (formerly known as Las Gloria's). It is the very best location to be where the action is. Restaurants and bars are close at hand.

A small but beautiful complex is your sanctuary away from home. Beautifully landscaped property0 some batter.

Please bring your own towels, it has become too expensive to try to keep towels stocked. It seems like they get taken out to sea.

Hunter's Casita is a great value and a great vacation location.

Love this place and everyone is so helpful.

We stayed in one of these condos 22 years ago and loved it . Glad we could find one for this trip. Right on the beach and fun place for people watching ! Definitely will be back soon.

Great Location

Really nice place to stay and we really enjoyed the area. Short walk to food and bars. Only thing to make this a 5 star stay would have been to have bottle water and propane tanks (that work and are filled) so that we could have used the grill and the firepit. Everything else was great!

Excellent location! Very tidy unit with amazing view

We really liked Las Gaviotas. It was super convenient to restaurants and shops and next to a great beach. The beds were firm as noted in the other reviews but we didn't really notice after the first night. Host was super responsive and very nice. The view was one of the best we have had. We would totally stay at this condo again! However has lots of stairs so may be difficult for older relatives.

PERFECT beachside getaway

We LOVED this rental. It was perfect for our group of four (two couples). Literal steps from the beach, an east 5-10 minute walk to bars and restraints, and a 10 minute drive downtown. The condo itself was great, very comfortable and plenty of space. I cannot recommend the spot enough, and hope to visit again.

The best experience over all , 5 star location 5 star people . Beds 2 star should work on that .

Great time

Listing was as advertised. We will definitely plan on this resort, this condo again. Close to all the town has to offer and a skip to the sand where the kids had a blast all day.

Overall it was a great place to stay. Front row seats to the beach. The amenities were good. Great place if you want to hang with the locals.

My family and I felt right at home, we really loved our stay and will definitely stay again!

My phone broke, didn’t have access to my reservation info, vrbo customer service very helpful with this and so was property owner, truly was a wonderful experience throughout my chaos!

Great condo in a convenient location

The condo was great. Exactly as shown in the listing and the host was available for any questions. Kitchen is well stocked and the location is perfect if you want to be walking distance to some restaurants. The beds were really comfortable except for the sofa bed in the living room which was a little lumpy. The other sofa beds were great though. The beach is quite lively (and a little noisy) on the weekends but during the week is very quiet. Would definitely stay again!

Puerto peñasco family vacation

Everything was great loved the stay the area and booking was easy and fast...only side down was the stove was not working fully but we managed to cook with what was working.. we do recommend the stay and hope to be back soon. Thank you

On the beach!!

A nice property ON the beach! Steps from the sand. Lots of activities available and right in the middle of the most active section of the beach. A pool is very close by on property. Fully equipped kitchen. 5 minute walk from restaurants and bars if you don't want to cook.

Fantastic Family Vacation

Property was great. Right on the beach. Walking distance to everything. According to my kids, best vacation ever. Beds were a bit rough, but the views made up for it.

Running water

master bath shower water would not shut off. Office sent someone down and then it was still dripping but at this point could not get enough water to take a shower. the place was perfect location. It has serious water leaks in both bathrooms.

We never got code to open front door through my emails luckily lady @ front office was bout 2 leave @5pm & helped us out... sent email text & message through Vrbo to owners never got a response til now.... we’ve stayed here before & didn’t have this issue.... it’s a nice place to stay.... enjoy location

Full rocky point experience

We travel to Rocky Point every year for our family reunion and always get homerentals so I've seen lots of different homes. Awesome place, right on the beach. Roomy enough for 6 people. Both rooms are very spacious. I didn't have a problem with bathroom like other people said on some reviews, (not sure what kind of 5 star hotel they are expecting, its RP not cancun) Best kitchen we've had . It was full size and enough space for multiple people to be in there without feeling crowded. It has all the necessary tools , so that saved us some money. The patio was great and has a great view of the beach and ocean. We went on memorial day weekend so it wasn't the quietest day but that's what makes that specific beach awesome and fun. You will hear those tubas and guitars all day, it was great. The properties were well maintained and clean, the 2 pools looked like a great place to hang out . We had to cut our trip short because our 1 year old got sick so we didn't actually go into the pool. The whole place is well guarded by the security staff who are some friendly guys , we felt safe . Only 2 negative things I have to say and it's not about the house itself more on the property is the strict" no visitors " policy. My son got sick so I didn't want to take him outdoors but my cousin and aunt wanted to meet him but couldn't come inside because of the rule, so that was a bummer. Second thing I didn't like was all those damn stairs from the parking lot to the front door.I counted something like 50 steps . I'm in fairly good shape but I wasn't prepared for that. So if u guys go tell your wives to pack light because. Overall I would definitely stay there again .

Great stay.

We enjoyed the location of this condo and found the interior to be very suitable. Not much is supplied above and beyond the condo which is fine but some places have some staples available so it’s hard to know what to bring. I would recommend bringing or buying things such as cooking oil, spices, laundry detergent, paper towels, extra towels (they have some). Also, we only tried one local grocery store but I found it difficult to find some of the things we wanted and use often such as bagels, vanilla yogurt, coconut oil, lunch meat and cheese (I could only find some processed square ham and American cheese). So if there are items you can’t live without bring them with you. The security staff there were awesome, very friendly and helpful. We met some folks that suggested trying some of the “off the beaten path” taco shops and street vendors and I’m glad we did they were some of our best meals. Over all it was a really great trip and we would stay at this condo again.

Great Location!

This place is in the perfect spot! Just steps from the beach. Made it so easy for me and my family to enjoy! It’s an little older but definitely comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our time! Owners were very accommodating! Definitely plan on going back!

A HUGE disappointment! Nothing at all like pictures show on internet. Overall very rundown ☹️

There are no pictures showing bathrooms so beware because they are a safety slipping hazard. Leaking facets and ruined drywall. Tiles are broken/cracked which you need to wear flip flops to ensure not cutting your feet. The place was filthy upon arrival. Stains on bedding. Netflix never worked. We even had condo manager send someone to look at and they weren’t able to resolve. Broken chair at table which owner was aware of and did nothing to fix for us and there were 4 of us so we couldn’t eat at table. Gas grill was out of propane. We had to wait until next day to get resolved. Owner stated they had just been to property and I have emails stating everything was ready and in order for us. We were unable to reprogram door lock. Endless issues. PROPERTY NOT AT ALL AS DESCRIBED......BEWARE!!!!!!!!

Unit needs updating

Our family loved the location that’s why we returned for a 2nd time. But in all honesty, the unit requires a lot of updating. The walls are shipping in the bathroom and shower, it was dripping water all day/night. The shower needs washing of all tiles they just look very dirty. The drainage cover of the main room shower was damaged that your feet could get cut (very dangerous). There’s not even basic cable tv. The WIFI is very poor, there’s no signal in the bedrooms, you need to be in the living room or outside patio for it to work. I would recommend the location, and the casita isn’t bad, only needs more maintenance attention. We aren’t picky but getting these few items fixed would make the stay more enjoyable. Our kids and us love it there!

Great Location

This condo was in the perfect location! We got the true Rocky Point experience. Steps from the beach, close to restraunts, we even walked to a cute little ice cream shop & to a quad rental place. It is an older condo & yes there could be some upgrades such as the bathroom showe tile but it was clean & comfortable. We would stay here again & again!
