Lake Minnewaska Home Glenwood Minnesota

We recently bought the home next to our home on Lake Minnewaska located in Glenwood, MN. We have furnished the home and are now making it available for rent. Everything is pretty much provided including kitchen utensils,
grill, towels and bedding. This is a very nice two bedroom two bath home with a beautiful deck overlooking lake Minnewaska.

Minnewaska is an excellent lake for fishing including walleyes and bass. You also have your own private dock for you to use as you can see in the pictures.

We would like to find a person or mature quiet couple who are looking to rent a lake home in Glenwood for occasional use through out the year, either monthly or yearly or possibly weekly. We live in a quiet residential area that is very safe. The house is located right along the lake with the patio deck literally overlooking the water's edge.

This is a very nice attractive home with a modern kitchen, gas fireplace, and within a mile of downtown Glenwood. See pictures that are attached.

The rent rates are all shown on the web site and vary between summer rates and winter rates. Wifi and spectrum tv is provided. You are responsible for the electric bill. I pay all other utilities. No pets and no smoking. This is a very nice attractive cozy lake home. We also have a 16 foot fishing boat as well as an older pontoon along with a boat lift if needed. We also have a 6.5 x 12 foot ice castle fish house for use during the winter season. Again check out the pictures.

The unit has a queen size bed on the main floor and two beds upstairs, one is a double bed and the other is a single. The house could accommodate 4 people comfortably.
We do require a 30 day minimum stay in order to avoid being classified as commercial property. Thank you for checking us out.

An excellent experience

Very well kept property and convenient location. Close to a beautiful public beach and several parks. Glenwood has everything you would need and having the owner next door is a plus. We enjoyed our stay. Byron and Phyllis were a joy to meet; very nice couple.

House right on the lake; helpful owners next door

Two couples stayed at this home for 3 nights in June, 2018. It's a comfortable little house with one bedroom (queen bed) on the main floor with adjacent bathroom, a second bedroom up a steep flight of stairs with a double and a single bed. The second bathroom is in the basement, not real convenient, but available when needed. The owners live in the home next door. We found them so congenial and helpful. We rented a boat for three days @ $50 per day. We were not knowledgable boaters, and we left the bilge pump operating while we took an afternoon break. Byron came out to find the boat half filled with water. Calm and collected, he began the work of raising the boat, draining it and shampooing the carpet. The boat was ready for use again that evening. No extra charge for the inconvenience. There is a private dock available with a lift if you wish to bring your own boat. The house is equipped with the necessary kitchen and dining equipment. We were able to clean our catch in the basement and there were provisions for getting rid of the fish guts. The house is only a few feet away from the lake and a very lovely lake it is. Outdoor grill worked well. It was a very pleasant stay. Thanks, Byron and Phyllis! You were great hosts!

Perfectly located for easy Lake fishing.

We really liked the accomodations. Nice host, quiet place to enjoy lakeside in between fishing trips. Clean and as described. Will be back.

Nice Home on Lake Minnewaska with wonderful hosts!!

This home is very well maintained and nice. The deck off the back of the house right next to the lake is amazing, and we spent as much time there as we could! The home is stocked with linens, a full kitchen, and anything you can think of that you might forget! Bryon and Phyllis were wonderful hosts and helped you in any way possible, but also gave you plenty of privacy! We went fishing for the week and caught lots of Northern Pike, Bass, and Sunfish. We were also able to catch fish off the dock when we were not using their pontoon. Lake Minnewaska is a very nice lake and we were able to see down 10-12 feet. They also have a nice beach on the lake in Glenwood with lifeguards. We swam at the beach one day and they had a slide my kids loved. The kids also enjoyed jumping off both docks. The docks were nice and Byron had just installed a new ladder on ours! Byron also checked the batteries and filled the gas up on the pontoon every day. He also ordered a new pump for the live well when he found out it wasn't working and got it up and working!!! The washer and dryer were a nice addition to the house and came in handy during our week there. The town of Glenwood is nice and has all the things you would need. We ate one night out at Lakeside Steak & Chop House, which is right on the lake. It had beautiful views and amazing food! I would definitely not think twice about renting this house! We will definitely be back for another stay, hopefully next summer! Thanks Byron & Phyllis for an amazing family vacation!

Quaint and Relaxing!

You'll love this little place on the lake! Great fishing & great swimming! Our family had such an amazing time and Byron was so accommodating to make sure our stay was amazing. We will return for sure!

Weekend Fishing Trip

Owners were very gracious hosts. House was very clean and maintained. We rented the boat and every time we came in for the day, Byron always made sure to keep the boat batteries charged for us. This beautiful fully furnished house is located right next to ours and is located right on the shore of beautiful Lake Minnewaska.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Since the house is next to ours it is very easy for us to make this available for a rental. Fully furnished and very cozy with gas fireplace. Great fishing and swimming and close to town with lots of activities. The deck overlooking the lake is virtually right at the water's edge.
