Large backyard has a tanning/sitting patio with windbreak. Fifteen steps to the beach via private access stairs. Parking for three cars (one which is covered).

This was probably one of the best VRBOs that we have stayed in. Everything was incredible. House was clean, beds were great. Communications with the Host was fantastic. Probably one of the best stocked kitchens that we have been in. It had everything. The views were so beautiful. Beach was feet away and amazing. We watched fantastic storms roll in and then pass. Waking up every morning to the best view of the ocean was something words can not describe. There was nothing wrong with this VRBO. Location was just right for us. I ran every morning and roads were safe and we felt safe all the time we were there. The Hosts have done a wonderful job of keeping their beach house very close to perfection, at least for our 5 member family.

This place was perfect. It had everything we needed to prep a couple meals, The reason we chose this one is because it is floor level, with no stairs and easily accommodated a wheelchair, We hoped to give grandpa a good (possibly) last time to the beautiful coast, and the view from the living room was magnificent.

Cozy house

We enjoyed staying at this house SO much! Not only are the views incredible, there’s a short way down to the sand just out front. You can tell the home owners have put their love and care into their home. It felt like staying in someone’s home rather than just another rental house. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cups etc etc tons of towels in the bathroom etc. The beds were very comfortable and had black out shades in the rooms which were deceiving for me in the morning, ha! We will definitely be back! Thank you the Hulme family for all the detail and love put into your home!

**Title: Perfect Beach Getaway!**

We just got back from the most delightful four-night stay at a cozy beachfront house, and wow, what an experience! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the breathtaking ocean views and the lovely warm weather.The beach house was so inviting—clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Our favorite part was lounging in our comfy gravity-reclining chairs, sipping on our drinks, and soaking in the gorgeous sunsets together. After spending the day at the beach, the living area was the perfect spot to unwind, and we loved being able to log into our favorite streaming apps and curling up to watch our favorite shows to fall into a more relaxing mood if that was even possible. It truly was a fantastic getaway!You couldn’t ask for a better location! Just a quick stroll down a few steps and across some cute stepping stones, and you’re at the sandy beach. We spent our days basking in the sun, tossing a frisbee around on the lawn, and discovering all the charming spots in the area. There are so many shops and restaurants close by! We especially loved grabbing the tastiest top-shelf margaritas and mouthwatering burgers at McMenamins - Lighthouse Brewpub while relaxing on their outdoor deck. And when we wanted a cozy night in, we had that option too, which was just perfect!We had an amazing stay! Honestly, the only thing we wished for was more time to enjoy this beautiful place. Beach stay 2/21/25 - 2/23/25

The house was very clean and comfortable. You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into the furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped with just about anything you would need. Great instructions left for wireless connection. The view is stunning! The beds were great. What more could you want! My only other comment was the driveway can hold three cars but just barely. If you have anything other than a small to midsize it will not work. Other than that, we plan on returning!

Perfect Location, Great House

This is our second stay at this property. We love sitting in the living room doing puzzles and watching the ocean waves. We like being right on the beach and the quiet neighborhood. The short walk up to the Knoll. is also great. The beds are comfy

Great family friendly home with a view

We had a great stay. We appreciated the travel sized shampoo and soap. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. There are little extras, like vases for flowers and serving platters, an entire shelf in the kitchen for guest food (!), plenty of toilet paper and paper towels, puzzles in a bedroom cupboard, scissors, grab bars next to the toilet and in the shower, a nightlight in the bathroom. Speaking of the shower, it was tall enough for my 6 foot son to use and not bend over. No televisions in the bedrooms, which we appreciated very much. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

This house was perfect for our family. Having everything on one floor was so easy for Oma and Opa. The views are incredible and its so easy to access the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Wonderful beach house

This house was wonderful! Everything we could ever need, ocean views were amazing, and easy access to the beach. We had a Quilting retreat with 3 friends and it worked out perfectly! We can’t wait to come back next year!

Wonderfully Quaint Beachfront Home!

Sweet little beach house. Cozy with a lot of the original character retained. Well stocked with most everything you would need for a trip to the beach. We visited in fall so spent a lot of time just bundled up in the living room watching the waves crash on the beach. Absolutely lovely! Only slight downsides were that two of the windows had remnants of window covering/tint that impacted the view ever-so-slightly. And, there was a beeping noise from a mole deterrent on the property that was annoying enough that we kept the windows closed which made it a little more difficult to enjoy the sound of the waves. By no means was it ridiculous, but one of those things that once you hear it, it’s ALL you hear. It was a great place overall and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Memories at the Beach

I came from Nebraska to take my 87 year old mother to the beach. The house was perfect. She was able to use her walker. Only 1 step to get into the house. The windows allowed her to enjoy the ocean view. Everything made you feel warm and cozy.

Our family has been coming to Roads End for five generations. Our home was purchased by our mother and father and is now owned by three of their children (we are third generation Roads End goers). We have many wonderful memories from spending summers from our early childhood thru our continued visits today. Our children have those memories and now their children too. It is a tradition!

Family oriented and perfect for a romantic getaway. Many honeymoons and anniversaries have been spent at our home.

Our home is located on the beach. It is one story, making it accessible to all ages. The backyard is large enough for the family and little ones to play on those days when it is a bit too windy on the beach. Want to go down to the beach? About fifteen steps down the private access stairway and you are there!
