Two bedrooms (Queen & a Twin Bed) with sitting porch, living room, full kitchen, one bath, and with a small onsite laundry facility. Location is convenient to the Cities of Clayton and Dillard. Near Camp Blue Ridge, the Foxfire Museum, Tallulah Falls State Park, and Black Rock State Park. This location would serve well as a staging location to reach other areas in the Northeast Georgia region and is within a 30 minute to one hour drive of Franklin, NC and Cherokee, NC. Property is centrally located in Rabun County and the various scenic sites located in beautiful Northeast Georgia.

Perfect location

Great location!

Had a great stay. The location is very convenient to lots of north Georgia hiking locations. Had everything we needed for a long weekend.

A cozy mountain getaway

We have stayed here several times. Barbara is a wonderful host and makes you feel like it’s home. Ideal for those who want a quiet rental.

Jimmy and his wife are down to earth good people to have for guest or rent to .The cottage was left in clean order and the trash was gone as well. He gave me a good book to read that he wrote about Ripples we make in life. He is a great writer and has other books as well. I am so glad he stayed in my cottage and will return again sometime.

Beautiful Peaceful Retreat

What a beautiful place to stay. Loved being surrounded by woods and the peacefulness. Our hosts were accommodating when we had questions and we could not ask for a better place to stay while our Boys were camping. Would love to stay there again in the future.

Great place to stay. It is convenient to everything.

We didn't spend much time there, because we were out looking for property all day long. We had a great time and the house had everything we and our dog needed.

Very nice cottage

Stayed in Clayton to visit my sick brother. The cabin was very nice and clean. The owner was pleasant and responsive when I made a request. Totally recommend this rental.

Well-appointed cabin in convenient location

The owner thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. The location is convenient to all northern Georgia and western North Carolina and South Carolina have to offer. Private setting but close to town with a few neighbors nearby.

Great getaway near mountain hikes

The place was cozy and just what we needed to relax, have some campfires and go hiking. It was close to town for groceries, but tucked away in the woods with a small scenic lake nearby. Barbara was great and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of.

Perfect place!

This was a wonderful place tucked back into the woods. Very quiet and friendly area. I travel alone for work and was never concerned about my safety. The owner is close by and is such a treat if you get to meet her!

Weekend getaway

My husband, my sister and myself stayed in this house for three nights. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and just relaxing. The house was easy to locate and very close proximity to town. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Long Weekend Getaway

The property worked out well for our long weekend getaway. Close enough to restaurants and was easy to find. Was too cool and windy to enjoy sitting out in rockers on porch but was able to relax to get away from our daily routine. Thanks again for sharing your home.

fantastic

The cabin had that homey feeling with all the little personal touches! Would rent from her in a heart beat. Gave some local directions to places we might visit! It was just great to be away.

Clean cozy cottage

Enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed available to us. Enjoyed meeting Barbara. Our activities were limited because it rained all week, but we would like to come back again at a later time.

Great little mountainside cabin!

What a perfect little cabin. We took day excursions to Black Rock Mountain, to Tallulah Falls and all around the area. Peaceful and secluded. Every little detail is covered from coffee for the coffee maker to self igniting charcoal for the grill!!! Thanks so much!

Peaceful

Exactly as described in photos and property description. The entire area from the home itself, to the lake, and even the little town with the state park just 5 minutes away, is just so relaxing. The weather was perfect. Several great restaurants right in town. Alot of antique shops and little stores to explore. We honestly were sad to leave. Thank you for everything.
