Welcome to our little piece of paradise in the woods. Come and have a vacation experience with all the comforts of home and live like the locals live. Watch the wild life as you relax on the wrap around porch after a nice long day on the sun filled sandy beaches. This hidden treasure is a spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath upstairs flat. It has a fully stocked kitchen with all the amenities of home along with washer, dryer, bbq grill etc. the living room and dinning area is open with lots of seating. Private access on two different stare-wells to upstairs property. *During Hurricane season renters must purchase travel insurance*

A delightful vacation home – peaceful and immaculate. Hosts are warm and welcoming – attentive to any need. A quick drive from Frisco Beach – possibly one of the best beaches in all of North Carolina. I plan on staying here again soon.

Leona und Vince sind super Gastgeber! Sie haben uns nicht nur mit wertvollen Tipps für gute Strände und leckere Restaurants versorgt, sondern uns auch noch mit Sonnenschirmen und Strandstühlen versorgt. Die Wohnung ist super und sehr geräumig. Für uns war es besonders wertvoll, dass die Küche so gut ausgestattet war. Wir konnten prima kochen.

Little slice of heaven

We had a fabulous stay at this cute home. Its private and quiet. The landscaping is gorgeous. The BnB has everything you could need to feel like home. Its so close to all the cute shops and the ocean. Vince and leona were so kind to us and gave pointers on the good spots would stay a million more times.

Vince and Leona were amazing host and hostess. My family and i couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay during our vacation. If we ever go back to that area again for another vacation we will definitely look them up for availability.

We had a great stay at Vince and Leona property. The house is spotless, well stocked, in a quiet area and well taken care of. Our hosts were attentive and very kind. We look forward to staying here again!!

Beautiful home, wonderful hosts

The house was *very* clean and everything one may need was in there. Beautiful decorations on the walls. The hosts live downstairs and are wonderful people! Ready to help you with your needs. We asked for beach supplies and were immediately provided with. It is close to the Hatteras lighthouse, Frisco beach (loved it!) and the ferry to Ocracoke. Huge and quiet deck to enjoy a late afternoon, playing cards with our kids. Definitely recommend and would rent again. (PS Thank you, Leona, for your lovely gift!)

Beautiful place to stay & Nicest people

I think this was by far one of the best rentals my family has had so far. Every amenity you could think of or possibly want. The place Incredibly clean to the point of being impressive. Everything worked (dishwasher, coffee maker, oven, washer, dryer, etc!) The hvac unit kept everything the perfect temp & didn’t appear to struggle at all(we had a couple SUPER hot days) And there was Tv and WiFi. I personally really loved the decor and the thought it showed in the decorating of every room. It was a really nice touch! I literally walked into every room in awe. The mud room when you walked in with the washer & dryer was really nice bc it kept all the sand & mess contained. And you could toss swim suits & towels right in the washer so it was super convenient. Also Vince & Bebop we’re super nice & friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here. 11/10 would definitely recommend & rent again.

Wonderful Experience!

We could not have had a better experience. Leona and Vince welcomed us at arrival and immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. The upstairs flat was exactly as described and Leona had cleaned it to perfection. There were so many small touches that she left which really made it feel like home. And both she and Vince were always available to us if we needed anything and very informative and helpful with sharing information about news on the island and what to expect in our venturing! Quiet, comfortable, and cozy. There were so many hidden gems at his house... from sitting on the deck and watching the stars at night... to horses trotting by in the morning. It was the perfect location... feeling remote but right off the main road... less than a 8 minute drive to the Frisco walk-on beach... and not even 20 minutes to the ferry to Ocracoke. We couldn't have asked for a better time... or better hosts! We will definitely be returning.

Wonderful little Jewel

Spacious, extremely clean, comfortable and very peaceful. Leona and Vinnie were helpful, thoughtful and welcoming. Lots of nice touches, snacks, bug spray, coffee, Leona even sang Happy Birthday to me! The deck is huge with great adirondack chairs, the garden is beautiful. We'll be back and will be happy to stay here again. Its a hidden jewel.

Great Property

Pictures do not do Justice to the beauty of this location. Place is just minutes from Frisco beach. Clean home, stocked with everything we could need. There is a grill on the wrap around porch (which was relaxing and had a peaceful view of the property around us). Host were even gracious enough to provide us with beach chairs. Great place for a group of friends or a small family to comfortably stay for a week or longer. Super clean and host were easy to reach if there were any issues. Would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in OBX.

Comfortable home away from home!

We had a wonderful time! Vince and Leona were great hosts. Unlike most rentals where you're struggling with access codes and trying to get into the place, the owners are right there to greet you. The three bedrooms and spacious dining and family rooms were plenty large for our family of 5 to spread out. We would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful stay

Wonderful!

Everything was absolutely perfect! Comfortable and clean. A kitchen well-stocked with plates, glasses, utensils, and cookware. It was quiet and felt isolated but was just a quick drive to get to the beach or lighthouse. And the owners were extremely friendly and helpful. There's not a doubt in my mind where will want to stay next time we are in the area.

Moved to Hatteras in 2002 from northern Virginia. Wanted to slow down and escape the hassle of city life. I still commute to northern Virginia for work and stay in Frisco during my time off. Met Leona in 2010 and we have been living together since 2013. She lives here full time and will be the host and guide for our guests. She is a native to Hatteras Village and is filled with great recommendations and local knowledge that can help make your trip!

Live like the locals live and escape the hassle of the touristy neighborhoods while enjoying the central location of Frisco and quick access to all of Hatteras Islands adventures. Also, enjoy the comfort in staying in a newly renovated property that is new to the rental market as of May 2016.

The close proximity to all the Hatteras Island activities while escaping vacation neighborhoods filled with noise, calamity, and vacationers! Our property is quite, large, and offers an opportunity to access everything you came to Hatteras Island to enjoy while offering privacy only enjoyed by the locals.
