On the first level you will find 3 bedrooms, two with a shared hall bath and master with its own bath. Convenient hall laundry near bedrooms. Shaded deck with beautiful sound views!! The second level offers a kitchen with an island and everything you need to cook with and serve with. Living and dining area with access to the sundeck, half bath.

Great location. Beautiful house. 2 great decks with excellent views of sound. Housebiscvery clean. The host is very nice and responded my texts immediately. This is a typical 2 storey OBX build on stilts, so expect lots of stairs.

Perfect Retreat

Wonderful Stay!

This house was perfect for our annual getaway. It is clean, comfortable, and most importantly, the AC was cold! Host was easy to get in touch with. Highly recommend!

Better than expected

I cannot say enough how much this home exceeded my expectation's! The house itself was so bright, comfortable and inviting. The beach access was an easy walk (minus the dunes be careful of hot sand!). It was so lovely after spending a day on the beach to come home and have the view of the sound from the living area and porches. We were also conveniently located to great restaurants , shopping and other attractions. The owners had a lovely manual full of advise and recommendations. We will definitely be booking again!

Great stay in Frisco

Great stay for four guests and our dog! House was clean and well stocked, with a gorgeous view of Pamlico sound. The multi level decks are great- you can be outside with a view either shaded or in the sun. Looking forward to returning soon!

Last Minute Beach/Fishing Trip

Very nice, clean and comfortable house with a great bay view. Short drive to the Frisco lifeguarded beach. Only drawback is the proximity to Route 12 if you are not used to traffic noise.

Amazing!!!

We had such a great experience! The house was clean, communication with the host was easy, and the location was everything (and more) than we had hoped! If you have furry friends it’s the perfect accommodation for them too! We loved walking down the board walk to the sound and watching the sunset from the back porch. We were sad to leave but we can’t wait to come back!

Awesome vacation!!

Our second year in OBX in same house and we loved our time there! We stayed for two weeks because one is just not enough time to unplug and relax. Our kids came down the first week and we had wonderful weather and made great memories. This house is so comfortable with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for six people. My husband and I stayed the second week and explored more of Hatteras. Went shopping, kayaking, and went out to dinner a couple nights. We had a wonderful vacation this year!!!!

Great house on the sound

Next best thing to a first row house. Right on the sound. Sunsets over the water. 5 star view with big sliding doors leading out to decks off the living room up top and bedrooms below. Sheets to cover furniture for the dog. Oversized washer was perfect for beach towels. Plenty of hot water. Some things we wished we’d known: house is next to the main drag. Cars fly by at 45+mph (noisy at certain times of day and I didn’t feel good sending even my teens ahead to the beach alone). The walk to the beach was 6-8 mins with all the stuff. Closest access point was at the end of Hatterask Drive. Crowsnest at the top was closed to renters. Bring your own: hand soap, tp, paper towels, dish soap, trash bags, dish scrubby, beach towels, and all beach gear. Bring everything. The few beach items in the shed are pretty trashed. The boardwalk down to the sound is impassable so the kayak available will mock you. The hardest part for us was the beds and pillows were not comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues but owner was super. Overall a great house with responsive owner. With a few upgrades such as bigger comfortable beds, quality sheets, towels, shower curtains, and some details that really make your stay such as a few days worth of supplies, cooking oil, crab leg / lobster shell cracker, this house could be another level. We had a great week. Food highlight was the Harbor House Seafood Market where you can bring home local steamed shrimp and other seafood with all the fixings.

Ok but….

The place is nice but not exactly as described. You can’t get to the sound from the walkway out from the house. It’s too grown up and would need a chainsaw. It also stated there was a spa tub. There was no such thing. Other than that it was fine.

Much needed Frisco July 4th week getaway

We have 3 boys, 13, 18, and 21. For the first time we let them all bring a friend and brought our dog Lucy with us. The house was lovely! The kitchen was well stocked. We are late almost every mean in. We had plenty of room! The sound sunset views were AMAZING! We chose to drive to the very close Frisco beach access every day that had bathrooms and showers. The beach there was incredible & had plenty of room & life guards. Highly recommend!!!

Everything we needed

The house was very clean and the views are amazing! We managed to catch the sunset every night. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we could possibly need and the beds were very comfy! A great place to stay and we will definitely return!

Fantastic Beach Vacation

My extended family rented three houses within a block or so, and six of us stayed in Tern Inn. After the rest of the family went home after the first week, five of us stayed a second week at Tern Inn, and that of course was the best week. 😀 The house is very comfortable, with plenty of light, and a great view of sunsets every day. It’s an easy walk to the beach, which we did every day. The house was spotless when we arrived, and it was easy to keep clean, with an outdoor shower that got heavy use, and cleaning supplies already stocked. The dog door on the deck was a great touch, which made it much easier to get ready to head out and to come back while juggling a dog. I know it’s not the part that’s advertised or has any pictures, but I thought that the tall grass behind the house was just gorgeous, waving in the wind. We had a great trip this year and we can’t wait to come back again. Five stars!

My house has panoramic views of the sound. you can sit and relax having coffee or a cold beverage and relax on either deck. You can walk to the ocean or a short ways south of the house there is a bath house area to park and go to the beach, or a bit further up there is a parking area to go to the sound or ocean. Kite boarding can be seen at times from the decks and very short ride to shopping, dining,docks and beaches and ferry to ride to Ocracoke for the day.
