Please note there is a mandatory security deposit of €400 which will be taken upon arrival by the on-site manager and this is fully refundable after your stay once the house is checked by the on-site manager and there is no breakages or damages.
Utilities are charged at €100 by the on-site manager upon arrival. The on-site manager will take a metre reading before and at the end of your stay and if this amount was not used during your stay, you will be refunded.
Outside Stone Cottage Holiday Home is a large lawned green area and the added bonus of on-site tennis courts, so make sure to bring your tennis racket and gear. Ballinskelligs & Local AreaStone Cottage Holiday Home is located just a short walk to the fantastic blue flag sandy beach, perfect for swimming and water sports on the Wild Atlantic Way. One of the unique visitor attractions are the Skellig Rocks, and boats make regular excursions (weather permitting) from the pier in Ballinskelligs out to Skellig Michael which was featured in the ‘Star Wars’ movie. Nearby is Renard Point, a fishing harbour, where you will find O’Neill’s excellent restaurant and bar serving locally caught seafood.
Ballinskelligs is in a Ghaeltacht speaking region with its own Irish college at the Coláiste Mhichíl where children travel to in the summer to learn the Irish language. If you have a child attending one of the many Gaeltacht Summer Course at the school then Stone Cottage Holiday Home would be an excellent base as the college is only a 4-minute drive away.
