L'Alfas del Pi is a town of two halves. The original fortified inland village and the modern coastal suburb known as Albir which has a lovely sandy beach and a fantastic cliff top walk to the lighthouse on Spain’s Costa Blanca between Altea and Benidorm.

Altea, an icon of the Costa Blanca can be spotted from far away thanks to its beautiful blue-and-white tiled church dome peeking out among the glistening white houses.
