Located on Bali’s southwest coast is an area called Kerambitan in the Tabanan Regency. Nestled between rice fields and 1 km away from the sea, Casablancka is an architecturally stunning five-bedroom Villa resting upon 4,830 square meters of riverside land in a small local Balinese village called Banjar Sangging. The Villa consists of five bedrooms with three in the Main House and two in the Guest House. Each has its own attached bathroom with towels and amenities provided. The bedrooms are all airconditioned and fully equipped with a safe.

The Villa has been designed around a Balinese spatial concept, arranged in increasing order of sanctity as they approach a central zen space known as the Akasa. The Akasa at this property is a gravel bed lining the patio just below the Main House and is also used as a space for playing the French Ball game called Pétanque. It represents the Unification of the eastern and western Cultures of its Indonesian and French Owners.

The house was envisioned as a modern interpretation of traditional Balinese buildings with its open plan concept. The Villa utilizes local organic materials and seeks to enhance the connection between the internal spaces with the surrounding nature. The aim to exist in harmony with the environment is another concept central to Balinese architecture.

An open-air living area that stretches 14m from the main house into the garden features bamboo frameworks and screens that can be opened to provide protection from the natural elements. All rooms in the Villa offer stunning views of the swimming pool, the river below and rice terraces beyond.

HOUSE RULES
1. The number of persons (adults and children) staying at the Property must not exceed the maximum number of sleeping places indicated in the booking confirmation and reservation unless specifically authorized in writing.

2. Our Villa is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. The Guest is asked to respect this and ensure that all guests and visitors to the Property behave appropriately. No big parties or events allowed on the property and no loud music after 10 pm.

3. Adequate supervision should be given when making use of the unfenced swimming pool and when using all other Property’s facilities.

4. As our Villa is constructed of mainly bamboo and wood, smoking and the use of candles are strictly prohibited in all rooms. Please smoke only in the outdoor areas.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The Jatiluwih village in the north of Tabanan has beautiful Ricefields following the contours of terraced lands against the background of the spellbinding Mount Batukaru and Mount Agung. The Kelating beach with it's glistening black sand is 1 km away from the Villa, offers beautiful walks with stunning sunsets. 20 minutes drive south of Kerambitan is an area called Tanah Lot. This is where the famous 17th-century sea temple is perched on a little rocky islet overlooking the sea.

GETTING AROUND
- For stays of 5 days or more, airport pickup is available up to two cars at no extra cost. Please let us know your itinerary in advance. Otherwise we can arrange for a pick up at additional costs.
- A 7-seater car with/without driver or motorbike can be arranged for rent at extra costs.
