This incredible oceanfront cottage is an affordable getaway in the heart of Kure Beach, on Pleasure Island. It's within close walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the renowned Kure Beach fishing pier!

This home has a spacious deck with a covered porch swing, a grill, a picnic table and resin Adirondack style chairs. Perfect for your picnic or barbecue, listening to the surf and feeling the ocean breeze. Watch the waves rolling in, seagulls flying by, and dolphins frolicking in the ocean -- right in front of you! You'll have your own walkway to the beach, and the convenience of an outside shower. There's plenty of parking too.

This home is ideally suited for a small family (with 2 double size beds and 2 queen size beds). The master bedroom (with queen size bed and cable TV) is on the lower level and faces the ocean. There is also a full bath, a living room/den with a big picture window (also looking out to sea) and large LED flat screen TV, a full-size kitchen with updated appliances and dining bar, and a pantry with front-loading washer and dryer. Upstairs there are two additional bedrooms with ocean views and a shared full bath. One of the bedrooms has two double size beds (with cable TV) and the other bedroom has a queen size bed (also with cable TV).

Every room is decorated in a seaside theme in festive colors. It is smoke-free and pet-free. Amenities include WiFi internet, 4 flat-screen cable TVs, DVD, and telephone service. Routine departure sanitation service is included. Bedding/linens/towels are not included but may be rented at very reasonable rates.

While vacationing at our oceanfront home, you'll be surrounded by plenty of attractions. Great surf fishing is available -- on the Kure fishing pier, by charter boat, or off the beach itself in front of the cottage. For sightseeing, Historic Fort Fisher, Carolina Beach State Park, and the NC Aquarium are favorite local attractions on Pleasure Island within minutes of the cottage. A short drive will take you to historic Wilmington and the Battleship North Carolina -- just 15 miles away. And you may wish to take a day trip to beautiful Southport, by the NC Ferry system at nearby Fort Fisher. There is always something to do for everyone in the family!
