Location, Location, with Value, Style, and Comfort!

This is the second cottage in this location. If you are traveling with another group check to see if the other unit is available. Like the original this cottage is decorated in a clean and modern style with lots of art. Many of the works are local artist; Ward Hooper and Evelyne Brigeois to name a few. We have provided everything you will need to enjoy staying in the cottage while you visit Boise including 1Gig, fiber internet! In any hotel the bed is very important. The pillow top mattress, down duvet, and high thread count cotton linens at the cottage make for a restful nights sleep without the luxury hotel price! In the bath you will find plush, long staple cotton towels. When we travel we have always appreciated these important touches and hope they will make your stay more comfortable at the cottage.

The front patio is a great space to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Most everyone waves or says hi as they walk by. If you would like a more private outdoor space the back patio is screened from the street and surrounded by landscape. It has a BBQ and teak table and chairs. Most everything you will need is on the main floor; downstairs there are laundry facilities and a reading space. The garage is currently not available.

We love to meet guests and give them a tour of the home and any info that may make their stay better. We love talking about Boise and all there is to do, see and eat here. We are easy to get in touch with if you need anything during your stay.

Great house, right in town!

We had a great stay at this beautiful house. The owners were so friendly and easy to work with. The house was perfect for me and my husband. We enjoyed the front and back patios and loved the neighborhood.

The units were in awesome condition and Darrin’s customer service is tremendous!

I will definitely come back. We rented both sides of the cottage and was fabulous. The bikes are a wonderful amenity and the neighborhood is perfect for riding and walking.

Great!

Really great cozy place, artfully decorated, and thanks for coffee. Hope to stay again late summer. And hope the tires in the bikes are working out better then. But it was a convenience we never would have had at a hotel anyway so not a deal crusher at all. Loved the place!

Great location close to downtown

I used this as my home base for a mountain biking trip. The location was perfect, very close to most of the trails. I liked the laundry capability as I often came home dirty from rides. The living area was comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities. Parking was easy on the street, which was quiet, and carrying things from the car was not a very far trip. I thought the shower/tub could use a non-slip coating on the bottom as it became very slippery when wet.

Cute place, great location

We loved our 5 weeks in Boise. The cottage (half duplex) was in a fantastic neighborhood. We rarely had to take our car out...everything we needed was in walking distance. We both worked while here, and the internet was fast enough to keep up with multiple laptops, streaming and gaming. It was nicely decorated and had fantastic landscaping. One thing, for those who may be lazy like me, there is no dishwasher .

Home Away from Home

My husband and I stayed at the Foxwood Cottage for 3 months. Darrin & Jill are wonderful hosts and easily accessible. They provided suggestions for restaurants, shopping and local activities. The Cottage is located within walking distance to downtown, the Boise Co-op, Hyde Park and Camel Back hiking trails. Neighbors are friendly.

Home Away from Home

We have been living in this cottage for 3 months while transitioning into a new home. It truly feels like home away from home. The neighborhood is safe, clean and close to downtown and Hyde Park. There are many great restaurants and hiking trails within walking distance. Jill and Darin are wonderful hosts and easy to communicate with.

Feels Like Home

The Cottage became our temporary home for 3 months while we waited to sell our home out of state and buy a home in the Boise area. The location is amazing! We were able to walk to Hyde Park for coffee, English muffins, a brew, pizza etc. We were able to walk to downtown Boise and Camel Back hiking trails. The Cottage has all the amenities you have in your home. A well appointed kitchen, dining area, well designed bathroom and laundry facilities. Jill and Darrin are great hosts and always available if needed.

Perfect for Exploring Boise

We loved this compact, clean abode just a bike ride away from downtown and the Boise River. Bedding and towels were divine. We had everything we needed. Decor was artsy but not cluttered. Comfy bikes were in great shape. Only suggestions I would have is more light in the living room and another towel hook in the bathroom!

Perfect property and perfect location

The photos of this property are spot on and the space was perfect for me and my husband! Very comfortable place with both back and front outdoor seating. Bikes for use and the location is close to downtown as well as Hyde Park neighborhood. It is also walking distance to the Boise Coop which has everything you will need including a great beer and wine selection! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful and comfortable stay!

Wonderful bed, house, and neighborhood

This house was perfect! I stayed here alone as I was meeting up with friends on the weekend. I felt very safe & hug out at front table watching people walk their dogs. The house is so welcoming, modern, and cute. Owners thought of everything (coffee, soap, etc). Bed is a dream. My new favorite Home Away rental! And can't beat the price.

Cutest Place Ever!!!!

Needed a place to stay for a few night while picking up my daughter from Boise. The house is in a great neighborhood and the house was just perfect. Everything we needed was there. It looks just like the pictures. We accidentally ran into the owner who was just the most wonderful person. We chatted for awhile. I can’t recommend this place enough. Would definitely stay again. Great House in a Fun Neighborhood

The house was exactly as advertised. It was nicely decorated and very clean. The house was stocked withe everything we needed, included two great bikes. We loved the neighborhood and the fact that several restaurants and coffee shops we within easy walking or biking distance.

We both moved from Southern California about 16 years ago and love it. We met in Boise and enjoy everything about the city and surrounding area. Hiking, biking, and just cruising down the green belt or to one of the many great and unique restaurants downtown.

The North End has so much character many, many architectural styles, great old trees and it is so close to the downtown area with all the great coffee shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The cottage is a bright, fun place to hang out with a number of patios to enjoy in the spring and summer. Comfort is important so we have paid attention to the details to make this feel like home. People have told us they enjoy staying in a unique home that reflects the character of the area. Vanilla chain hotels are just not as much fun and few come with a kitchen and bikes!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Loads of charm in a great location... with the added bonus of a nice collection of paintings by local artists. Beauty inside and out.. it's a good thing. This is an old fashioned grid neighborhood with huge trees. It's fun to just walk around and take in the views. Vintage homes, parks and close enough to everything that you can park your car and walk to it all. You will not be disappointed in the dining offerings in downtown Boise. When was the last time you went to a show, had dinner at a great restaurant and then walked home at the end of the evening? Welcome to the North End lifestyle.

We appreciate the little touches like Egyptian cotton towels and quality high thread count sheets when we travel so we have included these things at the cottage for our guests.
