Perfect setup with 3 bedrooms including master with it's own 1/2 bath. Large great room with high ceiling over living and dining areas. Complete modern kitchen found adjacent to great room. Front porch and as well as screened in porch in the back. Two units on property, excellent for families wanting to vacation together and enjoy the ideal mix of togetherness and privacy. Washer and dryer in unit makes life easy. Plenty of off street parking for guests. Outdoor shower as well. New furniture being delivered for the summer, so it won't match the pictures, but will be much better!

Stay away from this property

The property was filthy. Kitchen cabinets and floor were sticky and dirty. Kitchen wall was covered with food stains. Living room carpet was stained and grossly dirty. Sofa was disgusting with stains especially on the arm rests. Back porch floor was sandy. Chairs covered with black mildew. This is especially disgusting when having small children crawling and climbing on the furniture. Spent the first few hours upon arrival cleaning. These are just a few examples of the property. Will not return to this property.

Perfect beach house!

The property was less than a one minute walk to the beach, clean, and we loved the screened in porch. Ryan was very attentive and accommodating. We will definitely be staying in this property again.

Perfect and peaceful!

Even better than it appears in the photos. Peaceful indoors and out. Semi-private beach is basically across the street. Ryan responds immediately to any questions. Truly perfect in every way.

We enjoyed our visit. House was within walking distance of the beach. We had everything we needed.

The house was large enough that everyone had space. Open and airy. Good air conditioner Kitchen stocked well enough for our purposes to cook or we were able to make do. Just a short drive to our favorite restaurants and ice cream places. Was able to host additional family members who could not spend the night to the beach for a day plus a cookout. It didn't take long before we all were calling it home. Wi Fi worked great. The little one enjoyed her TV shows while waiting for the next event to occur. Look forward to next summer at the beach. Perhaps we will have a two week vacation

We loved our stay!

My family and I had such a wonderful time staying at Ryan's place. It was perfect proximity to the quiet beach and the screened-in porch served a perfect location for game nights, safe from mosquitoes. It was very convenient that Ryan and family provided linens and bath towels as most rentals require you to provide your own. We really enjoyed the property and town and plan on returning next year, maybe well rent the full house! Ryan was always prompt in responding to my questions, even after the stay. I believe that this has been my best HomeAway rental experience due to Ryan's helpful demeanor and the wonderful condition of the rental property! I highly recommend this property and renting from Ryan and family!

Superb location for terrific family holiday

We enjoyed this property for nearly five weeks. All the basics are here--including brand new beds, cute beach themed linens and a screened in porch. The kitchen and baths are dated, but function beautifully. With the property being about 200 steps to the sand, we could not have been happier. If you are looking for boardwalks, loud music, parking problems, crowded beaches and big surf this is NOT the place for you. Our family enjoyed quiet beaches, beautiful sunsets, kayak rides, ferry trips to Cape May, dolphin watching (this was a highlight of the trip--use Groupon to make it affordable), sunburns, ice cream and BBQ nights. The Cecil family is very responsive to your every need. Thanks for the memories.

pleasant quiet and comfortable.

A comfy please to get away to. The owner is a outstanding person who is more than happy to see that your stay will be as nice as possible. We look forward to going back next year hopefully for 2 weeks instead of one.

I am an airline captain and ex-military aviator who grew up in Delaware, but have lived all over the world. This property has been in my family for over 40 years and I have enjoyed spending my summers here since as long as I can remember. Anything I can do to make your stay more enjoyable will be my pleasure. I have a jet boat and often take friends out on the water to do some wakeboarding, tubing or waterskiing. If I'm not out flying, I should be right across the street at my parent's house. My parents, Dick and Lynn Cecil, are extremely friendly always available as well if you need anything. I'm also fluent in French - je parle français.

Lewes beach is the crown jewel of the Delaware beach scene. My family has been coming here for three generations and it's only getting better. I have friends from all over the world who have fallen in love with Lewes with its lovely victorian houses and upscale restaurants, bars and shopping. It's the oldest and most charming town in the state with a unique history.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

I love sitting on the built-in bench on the corner of the wrap-around deck upstairs. It's the perfect place to catch the lovely bay breeze and fabulous views. It's a great place to just chill.
