Renovated Historic House with Rooftop Terrace. Galera T.

It is a historic house completely renovated, which one reflects the style of Seville at the end of the 19th century. It has elements of the year 1885 in its doors, irons and tiles, of great cultural and historical value. Everything has been rehabilitated and designed new, but always keeping the style and the classic setup of this type of House.

The House is organized on 4 floors. On the ground floor there is an entrance that leads to the staircase and a comfortable exterior room, with two single beds of 0.90 x 2.00 and a full bathroom en suite. Through the beautiful staircase with vintage tiles, we access to the first floor where there are two bedrooms, both exterior, one of them with a double bed of 1.50 x 1.90 and the other one with two single beds of 0.90 x 1.90. Moreover, on the same floor there is a fully bathroom.

On the third floor is the kitchen, where you encounter a beautiful private patio, completely new and provided with everything that you need, as well as a beautiful outdoor lounge, decorated in detail, with seating area and dining area. It also has a comfortable double sofa bed for 2 people.

On the top floor we find the private terrace, with artificial turf, garden furniture and an outside shower to cool off if we are basking in the sun. Also on the same terrace, there is a small and beautiful kitchen that it allows us to servicing there, so it is not neccesary to go down stairs, as well a small toilet to make more comfortable.

Calle Galera is located in the heart of the Arenal district, one of the most sought-after areas in Seville’s historic center. The property is just a few meters from the Bullring, the Maestranza Theatre, and the Torre del Oro, and only a short walk from the Cathedral, the Giralda, and the Royal Alcázar.

Although Calle Galera is a pedestrian street and very quiet, the surrounding area offers a wide variety of traditional bars and restaurants where you can enjoy Andalusian tapas and excellent local wines. There are also supermarkets and grocery stores nearby, making your stay both comfortable and convenient.

Clean. Excellent location. Rooftop terrace was great but we did have rain. Quiet side street. Walking distance to most everything. Only downside was an odor from plumbing. Not terrible. Not pleasant. Would stay there againWe’ve travelled to Europe a good bit so we are well versed in what to expect

Lovely home base

This is a very nicely appointed and comfortable apartment. There are four levels, so just make sure you are OK with stairs. The terrace was just perfect. Bed are comfortable. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

Location was fantastic. Photos were slightly misleading as description did not indicate the apartment was spread over four floors with very steep stairs. This was not a huge issue with the age of her children, but with the younger families or anyone with mobility issues could be a problem as the lift is broken. Limited hot water access when traveling with five individuals was not ideal.

Charming

We absolutely loved our stay in this charming apartment. It is in the perfect location with restaurants and shops all around! Our family of six fit comfortably, and we really enjoyed the rooftop terrace. Highly recommend!

Historic Home in a Great Location

We loved this renovated home that is very conveniently located to all of the monuments and places we wanted to visit. Even our local tour guide who met us at the apartment was impressed by its location and spaciousness. It is spread across 4 floors with steep stairs, so if mobility is an issue, this is not your place. It worked great for our family of 5, and we appreciated the great communication and attention of the host. There are many bars and restaurants in the area where we had fantastic meals. It was a perfect apartment for us.

Great apartment

Would definitely stay here again. Great location - very walkable to all the major tourist destinations, shops, and restaurants. Apartment is clean and nice. Coordinating access was easy. We didn’t get to use it, but there’s a roof top terrace, complete with a small kitchen and shower, for sunbathing. Note there are quite a lot of stairs, if you have mobility issues.

Terrific location on a quiet street; ten minutes to Cathedral area, ten minutes in opposite direction to Triana. A nice apartment, although there were problems with the elevator and the stove. Staff were very responsive and polite.

Amazing home for our family

Fully appointed home with everything we needed to enjoy our travel to Sevilla. It was extremely hot during the days we were visiting, so the air conditioning was welcome and vital. We loved the roof terrace in the morning and the elevator came in handy for the occasional moments someone was lazy. The road was very quiet as were the bedrooms. We highly recommend staying here on your visit to Sevilla thank you

I absolutely loved this property. The home itself is gorgeous. It is also four stories high which is not clear in the description, so I called it the stair master home. The location is perfect, very centrally located to the river, Triana, and tons of eateries. The rooftop terrace is to die for! There were six of us and it was plenty spacious. I can't wait to return.

Perfection

My son is a Penn State exchange student in Seville. We went over to visit him for a week and this was the perfect place. It was uniquely lovely. Our party was two 50 year olds and two 75 year olds. The elevator came in handy! It was clean and bright and the rooftop was such a great place to hang out. Plenty of bathrooms, the rooms were cozy, the living space was updated and everything we needed. You can’t beat the location. We loved it.

Great place to stay in Seville

Clean, quiet and so close to hundreds of bars and stores. Kitchen was great with some basic supplies provided by host. Beds very comfortable. Wifi worked well. Issues we did have were addressed quickly although a minor “sewer” type smell in the bathrooms which we dealt with by leaving the bathroom windows slightly open was not fixed. I have learned this is a common issue in Spain. Maybe not fixable??? We would definitely recommend the house.

Our favorite accomodation in Spain

The house was elegant, stylish, and impeccably clean in a prime, safe, location in the center of beautiful Sevilla - within walking distance to the most important sites - the Cathedral, the Alcazar; and tons of restaurants, tapas bars, markets, and shops. It had all the amenities we could wish for, including a stocked kitchen, and a charming rooftop terrace with a full restroom, shower, and washing machine, and an elevator to all levels except for the roof. Communication was great - helpful agent met us promptly for check-in with a map and suggestions for nearby restaurants, sites and stores. The only thing I would add would be an electric coffee maker. We would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again! Thanks for the fabulous hospitality!

The host was very helpful and would respond very quickly to any issues, but the lift was not working upon arrival and we spent a few hours with the engineer trying to get this sorted. The property was not as clean as we would have liked and we had a pest problem with many flies in the downstairs bedroom and bathrooms.

So charming

This is a beautiful four-level apartment, in an excellent central (yet quiet!) location. Just inside the door on the first level, there is a bedroom with two twins pushed together. This room has an en suite bathroom (the largest and nicest in the house), but since it's on the first level, the light isn't as nice as the bedrooms upstairs. On the second level, you have two additional bedrooms - one with a queen-sized mattress, and another with two twins. The bathroom shared by these rooms is smaller, without much counter space. On the third level, there is a spacious living room and kitchen, and then the laundry room (with another half bath) is up on the roof, along with the excellent patio. The only drawbacks were not a big problem for us, but could be for others so I'll mention them here: we were told that the elevator was not safe to use, so it was a bit of a hassle moving suitcases up and down the stairs. Additionally, there's a patch of mold high up on the wall of one of the upstairs bedrooms - was not a problem for us on our short stay, but could be a problem for anyone with asthma or similar. It's a beautiful apartment with old-world charm - definitely recommended.

Elevator didn’t work. We weren’t told until the day we were checking in - with an 80 yr old and 2 yr old (& our luggage) it was tough… Every couch & pillows on couch were extremely dusty, we all had allergies.There was a heavy sewage smell at all times lingering throughout the apartment. The first floor toilet didn’t work. Ran non stop and didn’t flush properly, my in laws used a bucket they found to put water in to flush it(!!!!) They were super quick to reply and bring someone to fix it but it was a hassle.Lack of dishes, barely any glasses. Photos do not portray the real feel of the place. The terrace was dirty, photos made it seem more elegant and charming - but it was a little too tired. Stairs are insanely steep which we knew but just a heads up. Entry way is a little weird bc you need the key to get out but if one of us left with the key the rest of the family couldn’t get out. Ideal to have more than one key. Not a huge deal but there wasn’t anywhere to hang your laundry after washing — other than the chairs on the terrace. Would suggest drying rack. Location was good, it was more residential so not noise at night whereas our other family members stayed a few blocks away and it was super loud with the bars at night.We ordered food and it was stolen with 7 min of being delivered - seems like a safe street but heads up.

Quiet central

Wonderful property! Enjoyed 4th floor terrace for breakfast and evening sangria. Plenty of room and space but not that it is 4 levels so you must be able to do stairs. Both the main floor bedroom and 3rd floor bedrooms have bathrooms on their floors. Note that they use What’s App to communicate so have it loaded on your phone.Great location to easily walk from but quiet for sleeping. Good communication with host.
