Excellent stay! We’ve been to Storey Lakes many times and enjoyed this particular rental very much. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful when we had minor issues with TV and locking ourselves out of the house by accident. We paid for the pool heated and it was worth it! Overall great stay, thank you!

The property was clean. Alexander was great. The AC has a problem with keeping the upstairs cool which my fellow travelers did complain about. We did have to buy toilet paper and paper towels because you get very little but otherwise we definitely enjoyed our stay.

Great Family Spot!

We enjoyed this property so much! The little pool was great and the house was perfect for our family! My handicapped mother was with us and the first floor bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower was perfect for her! The check in and communication was top notch! We did have to grab some extra toilet paper and we washed towels during our stay. The washer and dryer worked great. The area was quiet and safe as well. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Best property we have stayed at

This is the best property we have stayed at in the area over the last 15 years. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The property owner was great to deal with and very quick on responses. The location of the Storey Lake complex was very good and it was easy to get to the parks and shopping. The neighborhood was very quiet. Would definitely stay here again

Vacation Stay

We stayed for 8 nights for our family vacation to DisneyWorld and the house and location was perfect. Communication to the owner was always quick reply’s. we loved swimming at the club house pool with the lazy river. We will be back again for sure one day.

Great Stay

We had a great time during our stay. Alex checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking and responded quickly to our questions. The house was clean and exactly as described. It was only a short walk to the resort pool and we enjoyed the pool at the house too. We will definitely book again.

Perfect location, great house

Neighborhood is so close to all the parks and it felt really safe. This house was perfect for our little family especially having the community water park. Only thing we would say that the mattresses/ beds could use an update. We struggled sleeping on them as they were super squeaky and had a lot of large lumpy parts. Other than that the house was great and Alex was very friendly and responded to messages really quick

5* Villa in a perfect location

Excellent villa in great condition, super clean and tidy. Very well equipped with everything a family needs if cooking at home. Small back garden and pool perfect to relax at home, the much bigger swim pool and club complex lovely if you need more space. Location excellent for Disney and Outlet shops, local Walmart and restaurants all good. Local area felt very safe and well looked after. We will use again if visiting Florida

February Getaway

The home of Alex was all we needed and expected it to be. She even threw in the BBQ due to the exorbitant exchange rate us Canadians are subject to. Whatever we needed for cooking was there and the blender was great for those frosty drinks. Being able to sit outside on the lounge chairs was nice while the kids slept. Her home location is so close to the pool and water amenities, which was amazing! Out of Alex's control, but to be forewarned, the Clubhouse requires you to buy their drinks and food only and gratuity is included and yet they still ask for tips! Your bags are subject to search. The playground does not have slides or swings and is very much lacking for kids to enjoy and be kept busy. All-in-all, the weather was great, Alex's home was all we needed or expected, and we got to be away from negative degree temperatures. Thanks Alex for a good two weeks.

Alex, the owner was amazing to deal with. Answered all our questions very quickly and made the rental process very easy for first time Homeaway users. The property was amazing and everything was really well equipped. The beds were really comfortable and there were lots of towels to use. The property on arrival was immaculate and extremely clean. The pool was excellent and did not smell of chemicals. The pool water temperature was ok and did not need heating. The Storey lake community felt extremely safe and the gate house security guards were extremely polite. The Storey lake pool complex (Hideaway Club) was brilliant, we all enjoyed the pool, Jacuzzi and lazy river, and my son loved the two water slides and kids splash park. The staff there were brilliant. The property location could not have been better. Disney was a 10 minute drive, the I4 was a five minute drive and Wallmarts was a 2 minute drive away. The only bad thing about this property was having to leave. Thank you Alex for letting us use your property, hopefully we will be back soon.

Great stay

Enjoyed a great stay! House was clean and had basic supplies to start. In the kitchen, there was a pizza cutter but no pizza pan, the dishwasher had some missing rack pieces so it was hard to layer dishes properly, sink didn't drain water well when doing dishes, plenty of cups and plates and utensils. Washer and dryer was good to have to clean clothes and towels especially from the hot Florida weather. The chains on all the ceiling fans were fragile and fell out when trying to turn on the fan or light. The backyard pool was nice and great to have when the community pool was closed due to weather or too many people. House was only a short walk to the community pool so it was very convienent. Community pool could have been better in terms of check in process as some days were long lines and waits to enter the pool and there weren't many tubes for the lazy river and several of them were deflated and useless. Location was close to Sam's Club, Target, Walmart, Aldi, Dollar Tree, and lots of restaurants. Disney is only 15 minute drive so very convienent if going to the parks. Only thing is there is a back entrance with a scanner for the parking pass but the scanner never works and everyone all the time would just have to sit and wait until someone leaves so they can enter. There should be a better entry process, maybe keypad to manually enter a code or something. Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend to other families.

Fomos muito bem atendidos pelo proprietário, Alex, e pela administradora do imóvel. A nossa estadia foi ótima. A casa é muito boa e confortável. O condomínio tem um clube com uma piscina de correnteza que meus filhos adoraram. Fica numa localização excelente, perto de supermercados, farmácias, restaurantes e outlets. Recomendo muito a casa. Tivemos somente um inconveniente, que foi a cobrança do aquecimento da piscina da casa. Quando aluguei, informaram que o valor para aquecer era diário, mas quando quis aquecer por um dia, disseram que o valor a ser cobrado era semanal.

We recently stayed at this house for a two week family vacation. Overall, we found the house clean and well-maintained, and the location was very convenient. The resort amenities were fantastic and added a lot to our stay.The kids’ bedrooms were excellent and very comfortable, and we appreciated having the laundry upstairs for easy access.On the other hand, the kitchen was a bit challenging to use for cooking, as it was missing some basic items like cookie sheets, and the pots, pans, and silverware could be improved. The master bedroom has a queen bed, which was smaller than expected, and the mattress had noticeable sagging. The stairs are quite tall—16 in total—so anyone with mobility concerns may want to keep that in mind. We also wished the living room TV had streaming options.One thing to note: the neighbors played music late into the night. This isn’t the fault of the owner, but it did affect our sleep a bit.Overall, this house has great potential for a family stay, especially if the kitchen setup and mattress meet your needs.

The most wonderful stay!

We stayed in Alex's beautiful villa for 6 weeks and had the best time. The property was absolutely spotless which was so lovely as we travelled with our baby and were happy with him crawling around everywhere. Alex's communication was amazing, he was super quick to respond to my messages and really friendly, too! We had a few issues with the pool heating which was a real shame as we couldn't use it for a fair bit of our stay but Alex was quick to get on fixing this and unfortunately I think it's just a problem with the pool itself that is being worked on and we were just unlucky. The kitchen is huge and has every utensil and kitchen equipment you could think of which was so handy. The bedrooms are all a really good size and the kitchen/lounge is beautifully presented and a pleasure to spend time in. The villa does have baby equipment - a highchair and a couple of travel cots which is very useful. Storey Lake is fantastically located - literally 15 minutes from Disney so can't be beaten. We would absolutely stay at this villa again. Thank you Alex!

Great vacation!

Alex was exceptionally fast responding to all emails. Place was as advertised. We had a great time and have no issues or complaints with the unit. Only problem was communicating regarding check-in. I had no idea Florida Rentals and Global had anything to do with this. I deleted their emails as I thought they were spam. Fortunately, when we arrived at midnight the guard on duty was able to assist us. Once I retrieved the emails we were able to get in. I was expecting something from VRBO. I will know better next year which I have already booked. Great place to stay especially with children.
