This huge property has style and a luxurious atmosphere, set in lovely gardens it offers comfort and peace, a place where famous stars have stayed.

On the ground level there are 3 bedrooms/ 6 single beds/en suite each with its own direct access to terrace/pool. Also on the ground level with direct access to the terrace/pool is a large bedroom/2 single beds/en suite annex.
On the first level the entrance hallway, with guest W.C, leads to a large sitting room, steps to dining room, kitchen and utility room. There are two bedrooms /4 single beds/en suite one with access to the large terrace, the other has its own balcony.
On the top level there are four bedrooms /8 single beds/and two bathrooms, one of the bedrooms has its own large balcony.
The garden has a grassed area with fruit trees, a large swimming pool (heated optional), children’s pool, badminton/volley court, BBQ area with kitchen; fridge, dishwasher etc. and seating for 20 .20 single beds

The property owner/Management will take over full responsibility for holding and returning your Breakage Deposit

Absolutely beautiful villa, we all had an amazing stay. Geoff was so helpful. The rooms were spacious, the bedrooms/bathrooms were spotlessly clean. Our favourite part of the trip was the bbq garden area outside. Simply ideal for spending warm evenings socialising, playing games and generally just relaxing. Highly recommend this villa to any large groups/families/friends. It's just perfect!

Property needs update on lounge chairs around pool Needs washing machine to accommodate group of 21. Outdoor had stains on lounge chairs. Overall had a great time . Lots to see in and around the area. Construction going on near the house going on. Enjoyed the place.

10 days of Heaven

Booked through Doug and hosted by Marco at the Villa both made our stay so easy. My 60th birthday treat with all my family and friends. fresh and modern, very clean and all mod cons that work. Great outside communal area in built in double BBQ. We paid extra for the heated pool and its was worth every penny. The villa boasts lots of quiet areas as well as full on sports and entertainment places. The area of Praia Luz is beautiful. I would recommend this Villa

Perfect property for all ages

We stayed as a large group of friends with 9 young children. The property is perfect. There is so much space! We never felt on top of each other and the outside eating area made the holiday. The owner and manager were very helpful and approachable...thank you! You won't be able to find better...book now!

Luxurious Villa in a stunning part of the country

We have recently returned from this gorgeous property and felt that we needed to share our experience with everyone because the entire holiday was simply perfect! There were 8 adults and 12 kids and at first we were a bit concerned that the villa wouldn't quite be big enough to fit us all in! We were very wrong! The villa is huge! From booking through to our day of check-in, the entire process was really smooth. Doug and his team went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The villa was immaculate on arrival and it didn't take long for us to feel at home. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable and the external cooking/garden area was where we spent every evening. The swimming pool was clean and the kids loved the Badminton court and table tennis table. At night we would use the gorgeous hot tub/jacuzzi and this was also immaculately clean. We hardly had to leave the property because everything we needed was there. I don’t think we used the gym that much though but for anyone who is a fitness freak is going to love the personal gym! Overall I would recommend this property to anyone thinking of taking a large group of family or friends to Luz. The village is beautiful, the people are friendly and we’ll definitely be booking to go back next year!

4 generation family holiday

4 generations (aged 85 - 2 years) of our family stayed here for a week in April 2019. Having carefully read hundreds of reviews of lots of properties, I'm writing this review in the hope that it will be useful information for anyone considering booking a stay here. 1 hour drive from Faro airport, we couldn't find apartment but after ringing Geoff, he met within 10 mins and guided us there. Fantastic house but not really child friendly (glass topped coffee table, marble narrow spiral staircase to all floors) lots of steps both inside and out to negotiate in order to access all the areas of the property. The only other challenge was disposal of rubbish -200 + metre trek down the dirt track to get to the main road where the communal refuse bin was but think this may be normal for Portugal. I would recommend hiring a car - 30 minute walk to beach and local eateries, which is quite an uphill trek back, so not suitable for elderly or very young. PLUS POINTS fabulous swimming pool and surrounding area, which was all non slip tiles, (pool heating essential in April) wonderful outdoor kitchen with bar b que, fridge, dishwasher and plenty of space to eat, because of this and the distance to eat out, we made the most of this. Baptiste supermarket 5 mins drive away and bigger supermarket 10 - 15 mins drive away in Lagos. Overall we had a fantastic week, communication with the owner Doug and Local contact Geoff was great. I hope this feedback is helpful.

This Villa is HUGE!

We had a group of 10 adults, 2 teenagers, and 10 kids aged between 3 and 9, and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Most of the week was spent in the pool area, which itself is big. At one point I looked around and saw people playing Volleyball, kids in the pool and Hot Tub, others sat in the outdoor lounge area reading, and the older boys playing table football. You can easily spend the whole day at the villa without getting bored. It's like having a small hotel to yourself. Most evening and nights we congregated in the outdoor kitchen and dining area and BBQd, the indoor kitchen was only really used for breakfast and the oven. Likewise the indoor lounge was barely used, except for watching football (the villa has a streamer box with all European sports channels). The whole villa is very well equipped, the bathrooms are all recently renovated and spacious, we didn't really want for anything. In the garden is a large storage box with balls, lilos, badminton rackets, pool toys etc. The optional Wifi was worth the minor cost, there are two wifi networks so you get coverage all the way down to the hot tub at the bottom of the garden. Finally Doug (the owner), was very responsive in the months before our holiday, and during. Likewise Marco the local manager. We did present a list of questions and minor issues when we arrived, they were all sorted out within the same day. Doug even sent out an air con engineer the same day when we had a problem with one of the units. Fairly sure we will be visiting again. Tips would be: - It's about 25 min walk downhill to the town/beach, the first part near the villa is down a bumpy track, so it's advisable to get a rental car(s). - Luz town is quite small and the restaurants get booked early - best to make reservations if you want to eat out. - All of the rooms are much bigger than they appear on the floor plan, no one has to have a 'small' room. - It can get quite chilly in the evening, so worth bringing some long sleeves. Amazing villa

The villa is huge! We comfortably had 18 people of mixed ages holidaying together. The outside area is fantastic & very sociable. We loved the pool but would definitely recommend you pay to have it heated! The hot tub got well used during our week long stay. I would recommend you hire a car though it is walkable to Luz beach & shops! We tried several restaurants in Luz which we all enjoyed & the beach is gorgeous! Doug was great with communication and we received our full breakages deposit back very promptly on our return! We all loved every minute and would love to go back again in the future!

Absolutely Fabuous

Absolutely fabulous stay at Quinta Oceane (QO) in June 2017, we had booked nearly two years ago for 16 of us (our age ranged from 83 to 9 months old) to celebrate our parents 60th Wedding Anniversary. From the time that I had originally booked QO with Doug to the time that our week had finished, the communication was excellent and effortless, the information and recommendations for airport transfers etc was also excellent – a very well organised process. QO is set back slightly to be in a quiet corner with about a 15min walk into town, if our parents wanted to go into town we got them a taxi which was cheap and quick but for ourselves a brisk walk was lovely, the local supermarket delivered free of charge, no matter how large or small your shop, which was really helpful.The images of QO do not do it justice, it is huge Villa with large frontage and electric gate, plenty of room for the whole family to socialise or to spend some quiet time by yourself. The living room was spacious, with pleasant decor and very well equipped with air-conditioning, TV, Games console etc, not that we spent a lot of time inside as outside was just amazing, the kitchen and utility area was also well equipped and clean.Every bedroom was clean, ours opened out to look over the pool area, some rooms had balconies. The bedrooms had lots of storage and excellent en-suite facilities, hand and bath towels were supplied with the booking, but we also took advantage of hiring beach towels from Doug.The best time ever was had outside, simply amazing…., Orange trees laden with really juicy Oranges, badminton, table tennis, music speakers a massive swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas all around and the children had so much fun in the children’s pool which was about 18inches deep, perfect for the little ones. Then there is the hot tub at the bottom of the garden, we loved it and it was perfect for the evenings. In the evening the garden lights lit up the pool and garden area, so pretty. But I think our favourite was the massive BBQ area, which had a lovely covered area with plenty of tables and chairs for those of our party who preferred shade to sunbathing. The BBQ area was extensive, with a huge BBQ, dish washer, in fact we used it to do nearly all of our cooking as it had everything that you needed including fridge, freezer, large drinks cooler. Amazing holiday. Would I recommend to others and would I return to QO, yes I certainly would.

Total luxury!

Our stay at Quinta Oceane was everything we hoped it would be. The house has everything you could possibly need for a week of fun in the sun. We all had an amazing time and really did not want to come home! The location is quiet and within a comfortable walk to the beach and a gorgeous ice cream shop. Loved the outdoor kitchen/bbq area at the house, didn't feel the need to go out for dinner every night as we loved bbq's with fish bought from the fish market in Lagos that morning! That is an experience worth trying! The best thing about the holiday was not hearing any complaints from the kids, they were far too busy in the pool and playing table tennis, they had a whole week without watching TV! I would definitely recommend this villa and hope to visit again soon!

First class villa!

This was a family celebration for 15 people, ranging from 1-65 years old. Theresa was there to welcome us and show us around and we found the villa was perfect for everything we needed. She was easily contactable throughout the week to answer any questions etc. The children spent most of their time in the swimming pool - the toddler pool was also greatly appreciated! We decided not to order heating for the pool, which was definitely the right decision in July. Plenty of sunbeds and shades provided the perfect setting to relax by the pool. We loved the BBQ area, especially with the provision of additional crockery, glasses, cutlery, dishwasher, fridge/freezer etc. The walk down to Luz was no problem at all and the Baptista supermarket provided a free delivery service, which we made good use of. The week went far too quickly and we were sorry to say goodbye!!

Fantastic Family Villa - Highly Recommended

We were a family booking of 20, ranging from 86 to 1 years old. Theresa was there to meet us and show us around and how things worked. Everything was just as described on the website and in the photos. The villa was spacious and provided everything you needed for a large group holiday. The outdoor space and the main pool area was amazing, lots of beds and enough shade when needed. We certainly made use of the of the outdoor BBQ and kitchen too. Having this outside plus all the glasses, and cutlery etc, made things much easier and we spent a great deal of time in that area, especially on the warm evenings. The villa is a little further away from the beach/Luz than we realised, but didn’t cause too much of an issue. We found the Baptista supermarket who delivered our shopping to the villa for us as we took a leisurely stroll back which made things a lot easier especially when shopping in bulk. The Beach and bars in Luz are really lovely and we had the most amazing family meal in Restaurante Fortaleza on their balcony overlooking the sea. Lots of golf in the area too which my husband and brother indulged themselves in. I would definitely recommend Villa Quinta Oceane to everyone who is looking for a big group holiday and I hope that we can go back again in the near future.

Wonderful Villa

We were a party of 5 families, 19 people including 9 children ranging from 6 years to 15 years of age, staying for a week at Quinta Oceane in October 2015. On arrival, we were grateful for Theresa the manager being there to show us round as the place is huge! Everything was just as described on the website and in the photos, only better. The villa was spotlessly clean, spacious and provided everything you need for a large group holiday. As we arrived late at night, it wasn't until the next day, that we could appreciate the best part of Quinta Oceane - the outdoor space. The main pool area was amazing, with loungers and parasols for everyone, the pool heating was a godsend in October, and the children appreciated all the games and play equipment available for their use. With so much space, everyone was catered for without feeling hemmed in. Often we could find a game of water polo going on in the pool, whilst the boys were playing football, volleyball or badminton on the court, a table tennis tournament raging elsewhere but still with plenty space to chill away from all the action. We couldn't have asked for a better outdoor space, and made use of the outdoor BBQ kitchen too. Having a dishwasher in both the indoor and outdoor kitchen, plus doubled up crockery, cutlery and glasses both upstairs and poolside, made life so much earlier when it came to group catering and dining. And in the evening, there were just so many options for a social gathering; at the BBQ benches, or around the garden sofa area, or upstairs on the terrace enjoying the view to Rocha Negra, or even indoors when it got colder. The villa is a little further out of Luz than we realised, but when it has everything you could want for a fantastic large group holiday, this wasn't an issue, and the spacious, secure and safely enclosed grounds were perfect. Whether it is rest and relaxation, or fun in the sun, Quinta Oceane caters for all. We are already planning our next trip back!

Clean, lovely large property

We had a lovely time in Portugal, although we should have explored more of the area. Comments re the villa QO, well it is absolutely lovely, plenty of space, lovely and clean, fab bathrooms and a lovely outside area, the barbecue area is a really good idea and plenty of space to keep the bottles cold. I would definitely recommend this villa to any large party. The only negatives were that the crockery in the kitchen was too small, especially the mugs and bowls, we actually went out and brought bigger ones. Also the bed in bedroom 7 I believe, the metal frame one, is way too noisy, although it looks lovely, the squeaking, when you turned over, woke me up through the night. Also, although it was nice to have a gardener look after the gardens and a pool man to keep the pool clean, it would have been nice if they had knocked on the door just to say they were there, the first few times it happened they just turned up and we were all a little shocked to see a stranger, well to us a stranger, wandering round the garden. But these were little things, overall we had a great time there. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. I have only mentioned the above as it may be helpful to any further clients you have.

We stayed in Quinta Oceane for a week long golf holiday in both 2014 and 2015. The villa was easily big enough for our group of 10 golfers providing each of us with en-suite facilities. The internal lounge and kitchen areas easily accommodate large groups and the external pool are is simply magnificent with a large pool, brand new spa, table tennis, barbecue and seating areas. The villa is ideally located for access to many golf courses and is an easy walk into Luz for the beach and evening entertainment. Our group has been golfing in the Algarve for the past 15 years and this villa is the best one we have stayed in by far. JF

Villa party of the year

I was one of the lucky 20 people who got to experience the villa again. As soon as I arrived at the Airport I felt a great vibe from all who were coming on the holiday. Everyone was already in a party mood, and were all very friendly. Then we arrived at the Quinta Oceane, myself was once again amazed and blown away as was everyone else, of how great the villa was with all the new cool features. We would enjoyed every moment from morning straight through to the morning, it was like living the scene from the a hollywood movie. Everyone became real great friends, and had never met one another before the holiday either which is always key on a Sa'real Adventure. We also went on some great excursion's which felt even better knowing what we was coming home to. All in all the best stay anyone can ask for

PERFECT HOLIDAY !

We had a large family gathering to organize and Cosmic Villas have been perfect from the word go. The company have answered any queries or questions quickly through email and even suggested car hire companies to use which was helpful. The villa we used in Portugal was stunning with everything you needed and more. We will definitley use the company again. Thank you to everyone at Cosmic Villas for helping make our holiday perfect.
