This year round luxury retreat is furnished and designed for quality and style set on 22 acres of private woodland. Spectacular views over Georgian Bay and historic Christian Island. Includes 50' pool and hot tub. Brand New stunning Chef's kitchen just completed January 2019! This property offers the best of woodland charm for exploring, luxury living with incredible views and sunsets and short walk access to beach on Georgian Bay's crystal clear sandy shoreline.

50' designer heated pool and year-round hot tub. Additional outdoor entertainment areas and outdoor lighting, with stunning views, provides a resort-like feel to this property.

Amazing summer location or experience the brilliant fall colours or crisp white snow in winter. Inside has elegant interior design and luxury furnishings throughout including fully equipped chef's kitchen, great room with telescope for viewing, open plan dining room with designer table for 10, large entertainment room with 60' TV, four bedrooms (3 king 1 twin), 3 high end modern bathrooms and three decks for BBQ, outside dining and general chilling.

One of the highlights is the 900 sq ft viewing deck which is a purpose built elevated viewing platform over the forest and looking out to historic Christian Island in Georgian Bay with beautiful sofas for everyone and shade or sun as required.

Outside has 22 acres of woodland to explore, with pathways down to a beautiful 300 feet sandy beach ready for swimming in Georgian Bay's crystal clear waters. This is an incredibly discreet and unknown public beach. A hidden gem with sandy bottom for 20-30 meters. Great for swimming, picnics or just hours of relaxing in the sun. The property has its own 7000 sq ft lawn in beautiful landscaped gardens and woodland. Plenty of space to sit and enjoy the views and play ball games or enjoy the gardens and flowers.

Fully appointed gourmet kitchen has 6 ring gas stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, microwave and oversize fridge and freezer. Quality Weber gas BBQ and large selection of high end cooking equipment.

Great room designed around the amazing view, reclining sofas, telescope and beautiful wooden floors and integrated sound system through great room, dining room and kitchen. Spectacular 15' windows with cathedral ceiling and fire place, plus an elegant dining room to sit 8.

Danny and Helen have put their heart and soul into providing this beautiful and peaceful oasis. They are excellent hosts who communicate along every step of the journey. The house is clean, well-decorated, and has all the amenities needed for a memorable family vacation. Danny helped us navigate a couple of minor hiccups, including a storm-induced power outage, with top-notch communication and care. We highly recommend working with them and checking out this property. Itā€™s worth the drive and every penny! The view of Lake Huron from the bluff and the amazing pool were a couple of our personal highlights.

Misleading Christmas Vacation

Booked for a Christmas vacation for our family. Pros-Beautiful property and gorgeous views -The games room is a huge hit -Two comfortable beds and comfortable furniture -Plenty of space Cons-Not being told you have to take your garbage with you when you leave until you book the property. Carting smelly garbage home for 4 hours (dump closed during holiday) is not okay. -Being asked to leave cash on the counter for the maid yet having mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers, not enough towels, food in the couch cushions and cobwebs/mold before our arrival. -Hottub cold and water level low on our arrival -Two of the bedrooms have beds so hard we opted to sleep on the couch. I researched this property thoroughly. I also reached out to the host before posting this review and felt dismissed and disrespected. If my issues had been addressed or even an apology made, I would have mentioned how they handled the situation. We enjoyed our vacation. We just thought it was important for those spending this type of money on vacation to understand the entire picture.

Gorgeous view, sparkling pool and the perfect place to relax and make lasting memories

The pictures of this property don't do it justice. It's breath-taking. The cottage itself is luxurious and first class from every aspect. It's also very thoughtfully laid out and stocked. Couldn't have been easier to move-in, live-in and relax. Helen, as a host, was responsive, helpful and a perfect host overall. We can't thank her and her family enough for sharing this absolute gem of a property and giving our family and friends a place to take a serene break and make lifelong memories. This August was our second visit at the cottage and we hope it won't be our last.

A Perfect Getaway

Our family spent a wonderful week at this beautiful cottage. It was well equipped with everything we needed, from the kitchen to games for entertainment. The pool and hot tub are amazing. But best of all was the view, the pictures donā€™t do it justice. A special place to get away and relax.

Thank you Helen and Danny for such a wonderful stay at your outstanding cottage. We were surrounded by beauty both inside and out. Each room was indeed tastefully decorated and larger than the pictures could capture. The views were nothing short of breathtaking from the Great Room, the Viewing Deck and beautifully landscaped Pool area. Whenever we looked out over Georgian Bay to Christian Island and the distant hills, we kept saying we felt as if we were in another part of the world (and not just 2 and a half hours from home). Amazing!

We had such a great time! Our kids swam in the pool and used the hot tub every day and we were able to keep our boat in a nearby marina. Weather co-operated and we had sun all week. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a private oasis. Views were stunning and we had some incredible sunsets!

Simply Perfect

We all love this place! Making lasting memories for our 4 generation family is very easy here. A slight hiccup with the hot tub heating (hydro blip) was fixed in absolutely no time with a text to Helen. They are amazing hosts, can't ask for better! We had terrific weather (yes Helen, the shooting stars were amazing!) Hope to be able to come back again.

If I could give more stars, I would! The home and amenities rival any 5 star resort!

Spacious and beautifully decorated, this home is perfect! King beds in 3 rooms made accommodations for 3 couples very comfortable. The pool overlooking the lake, the huge heated spa, and the amazing landscaping were well maintained and set the tone for a very private and relaxing escape from the city. Multiple places to lounge outside and two huge living spaces inside. Luxury kitchen with every cooking tool available. The owners were super responsive and quickly ensured that the hot tub was working to our satisfaction. This was the ideal spot to have a family reunion for my husbandā€™s milestone birthday and accommodated our whole family easily. Did I say the pool was sensational? It was! We look forward to returning next summer!

We have rented this property several times because it is unparalleled. After renting new cottages each year we keep returning to this one because it is truly special. Peaceful Retreat

The pictures do not do it justice. What a gorgeous place. Our family of 4 generations had a wonderful time here. It's so quiet. The kids loved the pool, their parents the hot tub. Internet is spotty, but when you're surrounded by beautiful views, who cares?! We made some wonderful memories here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at your beautiful home! The home itself is lovely with every amenity needed and we really appreciated having the three king beds (very hard to come by in a rental). The outside property is nothing short of spectacular! Views forever, gorgeous landscaping and the wonderful 50' pool and hot tub were fantastic! We will be back next year.

We had a great time staying at this cottage...with all the amenities it has it was a very comfortable stay...loved the beautiful view which changes everyday with the changing of the weather.Took our boat and enjoyed the clear,clean water! Found exclusive restaurants in Midland which is only maybe 30 minutes away....had a nice and relaxing time with our kids and hope to be back!

Absolutely stunning property. We loved how well the cottage was maintained and how clean everything was. We very much appreciated how prepared the cottage to host our family. The views are spectacular and we loved the privacy. Entire three generations of our family enjoyed their stay and have something new to discover every day.

Amazing cottage with incredible views

This is a truly stunning location with views across the bay and Christian Island that provides amazing sunsets night after night. We spent 2 weeks in this oasis of tranquility and calm and will definitely be coming back. The grounds provide a range of different places to sit and soak up the views from the two decks around the house, to the big deck in the garden to the lawns to the side. There is loads of space for the kids to run around in the garden, and we even setup a badminton net in one area. The woodland surrounding also provides a nice short walk through the forest on the way to the beach or just for a stroll. The cottage itself is state of the art and has everything you would need to be extremely comfortable - great air conditioning, good beds, fully stocked kitchen, massive fridge, massive freezer, great BBQ, great selection of books and things to do around the cottage, huge TV to watch Blu-ray movies on and comfortable seating to relax on at the end of long days playing in the lake. The beach on the water is beautiful. Clear, clean beautiful water which stays shallow for 30 meters from the shore providing a safe fun place to play in the water with the kids. In July the water was warm, the beach was never really busy and the afternoon and evening sun over the water was spectacular. I cant recommend this cottage highly enough. Our stay was magical from start to finish and we look forwards to going again in the future.

These is nothing quite like it. This property is an experience in itself with a resort-feel, amazing outdoor and indoor living and the ability to enjoy the beautiful crystal waters and beaches of Georgian Bay. 50' outdoor heated pool with year-round hot tub, more outdoor entertainment space and outdoor lightening. A huge master suite with 38ft glass doors looking over the lake, with beautiful ensuite master bathroom. Games room added with pool table, ping pong and 14ft shuffle board for all round entertainment.
